How to get tickets to the Britain’s Got Talent live shows 2023

Weekends in just got a tad more exciting because one of the biggest talent shows in the UK is finally back!

Britain’s Got Talent has returned for its 16th series , with fans being bowled over at the auditions stage with some stellar Golden Buzzer acts already wowing the judges and going straight to the grand final .

Fans have also had their first taste of new judge Bruno Tonioli , who is swapping Strictly for Simon Cowell as he replaces David Walliams on the panel.  

The boys have been joined by returning judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden .

While we have weeks of audition episodes to tide us over, real fans might want to be there for the excitement of the live shows. How can you get tickets for these?

Here’s what we know.

How to get tickets to the BGT live shows

Good news! Applications for the live BGT shows are now open.

Hopeful audience members can apply to watch the semi-finals live between May 29 and June 2 while tickets last.

You must register your details online to apply including your name, email address, date of birth, and home address while also agreeing to the sites terms and conditions.

Tickets are free for the Hammersmith Apollo shows and all you need to do is request your tickets on the Applause Store website.

You can select how many tickets you require and request them. You will be notified via email whether your request has been successful.

If your request is successful, you will be sent an eTicket link direct to your inbox, at the latest 24 hours prior to your chosen date.

To attend, you must be over eight years of age, with all those aged between eight and 17 needing to be accompanied by an adult.

The website says: ‘Britain’s Got Talent is open to anyone of any age with absolutely any talent; from fire eaters to acrobats, dancers to divas, aerial performers to animal acts you can expect to see them all live on stage.’

So you’re sure to be in for an exciting night if your request is successful.

When might the BGT grand final be in 2023?

If BGT 2023 is anything like the 2022 series, we can guess that the grand finale will take place around June 3 and 4.

This is because BGT 2022 started on roughly the same date (April 16, 2022) and wrapped up on June 5, the first Sunday of the month.

This year, that will be June 4.

Who won Britain’s Got Talent last year?

Last year’s BGT winner was Axel Blake , a comedian from West London.

The former property maintenance manager made it through to the live shows after receiving the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.

He emerged victorious after facing off against nine other finalists: Maxwell Thorpe, Jamie Leahey, Ben Nickless, Flintz and T4ylor, Tom Ball, Eva Abley, Loren Allred, 5 Star Boys, and Aneeshwar Kunchala.

It's almost time for the Britain's Got Talent live shows!

On Saturday 27th May, the last of the pre-recorded semi-finals will air on ITV1, meaning it won't be long before we see all this year's acts back on stage again!

Airing over a week, the semi-final live shows will see the Britain's Got Talent panel , which this year includes Bruno Tonioli who took over from David Walliams , returning to the stage to see the top acts from the auditions perform for a second time.

Each act will be hoping to secure votes from the public in a bid to be put through to the live grand final. The winning act will take home a whopping £250,000 and earn a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance , which will be attended by members of the Royal Family.

The semi-final live shows will air over the course of a week, with two acts going through each night until we have a total of 10 acts for the final.

So, when do the Britain's Got Talent live shows start?

Read on for everything you need to know.

The Britain's Got Talent 2023 live shows will start on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday 29th May at 8pm .

The show will run until 10pm when the results will be announced.

The first finalist will be chosen via public vote and the second finalist will be chosen by the judges.

The semi-finals will air until Friday 2nd June when all the finalists will be confirmed for the live final taking place on Sunday 4th June. Each episode will air at the same time from 8pm until 10pm.

Alongside the performances from the acts, there will also be some special guest performances on the night.

BGT will conclude their pre-recorded auditions on Saturday 27th May.

How to get audience tickets for the Britain's Got Talent live shows

Fancy seeing this year's acts live? Well head over to Applause Store to register now.

Tickets are free but limited, and you must be aged eight or above to attend, with those under the age of 17 needing to be accompanied by someone 18+.

It's nearly time for the live BGT Semi-Finals! Here's ALL the info you need

Thousands applied, hundreds auditions and now... the Britain's Got Talent search has reached the Live Semi-Finals which will kick off on ITV this Monday, yasss!

So what's going on... we hear you ask! Well, each night, eight of the final 40 acts will perform live in the hope of impressing you lot at home in a bid to win the all-important public vote.

Two acts from each night's show will make it into the Live Final on Sunday 3rd June, with a chance of winning a life changing £250,000 and a spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.

But that's not all...

This year, it won't just be down to the you... The act with the most votes in the public vote will automatically go into the Final, but it will be the Judges that decide between the second and third placed acts as to who wins that all-important spot in Sunday's Grand Final!

On Saturday's first Live Britain's Got More Talent show, Stephen Mulhern exclusively revealed some of the AMAZING guest performers we've got to look forward to across the week...

It will go off with a BANG on Monday with BGT Superstars DIVERSITY performing, while the magical cast of Matilda The Musical will perform.

Throughout the week we've also got some TOTES AMAZE performances lined up including pop princess Rita Ora , musical star Alfie Boe , the fabulous cast of Chicago The Musical and our INCREDIBLE reigning BGT champion, musician TOKIO MYERS.

The Live Final will also have TALENT galore, with what is set to be a fantastic performance from the new West End show Tina The Musical, plus the cast of Magic Mike are coming all the way from LAS VEGAS to perform!

Britain’s Got Talent Live Semi-Finals begin on Monday 28th May at 7.30pm on ITV. Followed by Britain’s Got More Talent, also live, on ITV2 at 10pm.

I’m the guy at Independent Golf Reviews that talks about shafts on woods, irons and wedges.  Most golfers I fit will go out of their way to tell me that the shaft is the most important part of the club. They want to make sure they have the right shaft in every club. Yet, when I fit a putter, not one person asks me if the putter shaft is correct for them. A putter swing has the same elements as any other club such as Club Path, Face Angle, Attack Angle and Hit Location, which results in Ball Speed, Launch Angle, Spin Rate and Direction. It was only a matter of time before a putter shaft caught up with technology like the shafts in other clubs.  Breakthrough Golf Technology and the Stability Tour Black putter shaft is that shaft. I tested the Stability Tour Black putter shaft in a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Laguna 2.5 which has been my gamer for over 15 years. It hit all the marks on what I normally judge equipment by and changed my thoughts on buying another putter without a BGT shaft.

The goal of the BGT Stability Putter Shaft is to improve putter specific motion and performance. The work of Barney Adams, a true pioneer in the game of golf, means technology in shafts has finally made its way to the putter. Simply put “ The putter shaft has not changed for over 50 years; it’s a simple steel pipe. Over the years head designs for putters have evolved and gotten dramatically heavier. This has resulted in shafts that are not stable or strong enough to keep these heavier, advanced putter heads from oscillating, twisting and turning. In fact, the strongest part of the putter shaft is under the hands, where it does the least good; the weakest part is near the club head.”

I heard an engineer from one of the top club manufacturers once say, “Technology is about materials and application.” From that point on, I’ve tried to break down equipment with that thought in mind. As Breakthrough Golf Technology says, “ Stability limits unwanted movement by stiffening the shaft by 25% without abolishing feel and reducing torque by almost 50%, to deliver the club face squarer at impact .”

The technology in a Stability Tour Black shaft helps to improve aspects of the putting stroke we normally wouldn’t think of. The new Stability Tour Putter shaft has added 30% more high modulus carbon fiber to help increase stiffness from their original shaft and balances like steel to allow for exact swing weight matching. It has a 13% reduction in the shaft diameter, making the Stability Tour shaft have a more streamlined transition from the graphite section to the steel tip. I really like the black-out appearance which blends well with nearly any putter head and has a smooth gloss, but not shiny coating. The contrast of black and silver with my putter set up has people asking me about what I am putting with.

WRX Spotted: BGT Stability Tour putter shaft

When you’re the new kid on the block, there is always going to be rapid innovation.

BGT and the Stability Shaft have proven to provide a tangible benefit to golfer using modern-day, heavier-headed putters and if you are curious about how it works, check out this feature piece done a few months ago ( WRX BGT Stability Spotlight).

Here’s the newest shaft from BGT, the Stability Tour.

Although it looks extremely similar to the original Stability there are a couple of noticeable differences that stand our in the tour versions that we haven’t seen yet:

• Even from the naked eye we can see that the new Tour version, has a smaller outside diameter than the original which in theory would make the shaft play softer. That’s not a 100 percent fact since there are different ways to use materials to make a composite (graphite) shaft play stiffer, but since this is the Tour version the assumption is this is to improve feel.
• Black adapter from graphite to steel — it’s a smaller detail, but when it comes to putting and how something looks over the ball every detail counts. This new adapter certainly makes the transition look even cleaner.

We don’ have any official comment yet from BGT on what the specs are for the new Tour option or when it might be coming to retail, but we have reached out and looking forward to hearing more.

Just another marketing gimmick to increase the already exhorbitant golf gear prices: especially Drivers and putters. It’s the “puttie” not the “putter”

Having rolled one of these, i’m saddened by the “tour” being put on the end – as it is a last ditch effort to sell more product. As far as the original, I don’t see it being worth the 200$ they price it at now. The tour is sure to be more expensive. It’s a single-use shaft that made the scotty i put it on feel absolutely crap. A tour version is an attempt to make it prettier and will likely sacrifice some aspect of what people liked on the original. Breakthrough golf lost my interest when it took 4 days to contact someone on why i had to select the head i was putting the shaft in, when tips don’t even come with the shaft (unless it’s a straight shaft). No part of the experience seems worthy of the price tag.

I have this on my putter and it has changed my putting for the better. You still need to understand line and speed but this gives the ball a much better roll.Well worth the price!

The original was what? $200?!? How much can they command for the “tour” model? $300? $350?!? Prices on all golf equipment is getting out of control. Drivers over $500 are common. Iron sets under $1,000 are getting scarce. Pretty soon they will “revolutionize” the golf ball again and charge $10-$15/ball!

The 23-year-old teaching assistant went on to reveal that he hadn't told anyone in his family that he'd be taking part in the competition.

Amanda said: "Honestly I didn't stop laughing from start to finish. That was an amazing set." Simon added: "I think a great comedian is fearless and funny - you are both. You did great."

Alex made it through to the next round after receiving four yeses from the judges. Simon then surprised him and told him to call his parents to let them know how well he did.

Speaking to his mum, Simon said: "Becky? I want to speak to you about your son. As you know, he's at a stag do tonight and his behaviour has been absolutely appalling!"

Becky responded: "I am so sorry, he gets that from his father's side. Simon went on to say: "Actually, it's Simon Cowell from BGT. Your son was incredible tonight and is through to the next round of Britain's Got Talent.”

Alex’s mum, Becky was shocked as she responded: "Oh my god, I can't believe it. That's fabulous. I am so pleased and proud of you, I want to give you the biggest hug ever."

Olivia Rodrigo 's GUTS World Tour is fully underway and new stops keep being added. The day after her show-stopping 2023 VMAs performance , the musician announced that she'll be hitting the road and heading out on an over 60-stop tour in support of her critically acclaimed sophomore album — and you know we'll be seated for this one.

Olivia Rodrigo wrote most of Guts — which was released on September 8, 2023 — when she was 19 years old, and it's a deeply personal (but extremely relatable) album that she was thrilled to share with her fans. “I made the bulk of this album during my 19th year on this earth, a year that, for me, was filled with lots of confusion, mistakes, awkwardness, and good old-fashioned teen angst,” 20-year-old Rodrigo wrote before its release. “I cannot express how excited I am to embark on this new chapter of my life with you guys.”

When and where did the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS World Tour kick off?

The tour began in Palm Springs, California, on February 23, 2024. Rodrigo started the tour in the United States and Canada and will continue throughout Europe for much of the spring and early summer before heading back to the United States in July. Initially, we thought the tour would officially wrap on August 17, 2024, in California with four final Los Angeles shows, but she announced new stops across Asia and Australia on May 8, 2024, via social media .

Who is joining Olivia Rodrigo on tour?

The GUTS World Tour has a packed slate of opening acts. The Breeders, PinkPantheress , Chappell Roan , Remi Wolf , and Benee will join Rodrigo on select dates across the tour.

Where can I get tickets, and how much do they cost?

According to a press release, fans are being asked to register before tickets go on sale in an effort to reduce bots and resales. You can register for your tickets on Ticketmaster here — American Express cardholders may be able to unlock early access.

While standard tickets in the U.S. retail between $49.50 and $199.50 plus taxes and fees, Rodrigo is also introducing Silver Star Tickets, a limited number of $20 tickets (plus taxes and fees) to “make it as easy and affordable as possible for her fans to make it out to her shows.” These must be purchased in pairs, and seat locations will be revealed on the day of the show.

What else do I need to know about the GUTS World Tour?

There's a charitable arm of the tour! Rodrigo is launching the Fund 4 Good, “a global initiative committed to building an equitable and just future for all women and girls through direct support of community-based non-profits that champion girls’ education, support reproductive rights and prevent gender-based violence.” A portion of proceeds from all ticket sales will go to support the fund.
