Pokémon GO Safari Zone Singapore – All Timed Research Challenges

Festivities are underway at the Gardens by the Bay for the latest Pokémon GO in-person event, Safari Zone: Singapore . With activities to participate in through this event space and the ongoing Air Adventures, Trainers will also interact with their favorite Pokémon in the wild. In addition, developer Niantic has released yet another in-game activity: a global event-exclusive Timed Research for Trainers to complete before the Safari Zone ends.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore Timed Research

The Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore event will feature global Timed Research tasks and rewards, available from 19th November 2022 at 8 am local time until   20th November 2022 at 8 pm local time . During the event, Trainers can encounter the devious Dark-type Pokémon Purrloin and its evolution Liepard. In addition, there's a chance for Trainers to discover a Shiny Purrloin .

Completing the Timed Research tasks will earn Trainers exclusive bonuses, including Stardust, XP, and encounters with Purrloin. Below we’ve detailed the complete list of challenges and rewards for the limited-time Safari Zone: Singapore Timed Research:

• Explore one kilometer: Purrloin encounter
• Explore two kilometers: Purrloin encounter
• Explore three kilometers: Purrloin encounter
• Explore four kilometers: Purrloin encounter
• Explore five kilometers: Purrloin encounter

For each task completed for the Timed Research, Trainers are guaranteed to be awarded an encounter with Purrloin, with the possibility of it being a Shiny variant. But should they finish all Timed Research tasks, they will receive 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and another encounter with Purrloin.

Also, Trainers who successfully catch Purrloin will be rewarded with Purrloin Candy , which can be beneficial to power up the Pokémon to Level 40. However, it also used to evolve Pokémon; in this latest event, 50 Purrloin Candies are required to evolve Purrloin to Liepard.

Should you evolve a Shiny Purrloin during this event, you’ll be able to get a Shiny Liepard added to your Pokédex. Regardless, you don’t have much time to complete the Timed Research, which can be found through the Map View tab and by tapping the Binoculars icon.

This will direct you to the Research page, where you can browse through all available Research stories, including Field, Special, and Today. Next, select the Today tab, where you’ll likely find the Safari Zone: Singapore Timed Research tasks which you can begin completing.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore is happening from Friday, November 18, 2022, to Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore—and tickets are on sale now ! You’ll encounter Pokémon themed around the Pokémon Air Adventures such as Flying Pikachu, Lapras, and Maractus. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Purrloin—if you’re lucky!

Trainers who purchase an Early Access ticket can experience event gameplay within Gardens by the Bay from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the event day of their choice.

Please note: you may only attend one day of this three-day event.

* Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore attendees may only purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event. Tickets are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO Event Ticketing page . You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Safari Zone: Singapore event if it hasn’t sold out yet. The event experience will be available only at this location on the specified date and time. Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are available for purchase while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trainers who purchase a General Admission ticket can experience event gameplay within Gardens by the Bay from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the event day of their choice.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore ticket holders will enjoy the below features and bonuses while exploring Gardens by the Bay during the date and time listed on their event ticket.

Enjoy an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon in the wild and when using Incense!

You can work to complete a short, event-exclusive Special Research story and earn rewards.

Make up to five Special Trades. Plus, make trades for only half the normal Stardust cost!

All ticket holders will receive an event-exclusive medal.

Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours. Please note this does not apply to Daily Adventure Incense.

All Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours.

Take a break from catching Pokémon to snap photos at real-world photo opportunities, collect giveaway items, and more!

The Welcome Entrance Gate is located at the entry to The Meadow from the Bayfront MRT direction.The event gameplay can be experienced within the designated space at Gardens by the Bay, excluding Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.

There is no parking secured for this event. We recommend using public transportation to make your way to Gardens by the Bay.

• Direct access to the park is available via the Bayfront MRT Station, which is the nearest point of direct access to the Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore.
• Buses with routes that stop near the premises are available. For more information, please visit the Gardens by the Bay website .

Gardens by the Bay is a non-smoking area.

Yes! Merchandise will be sold at the location marked on the map posted in the park during the event.

• Trainers must physically visit Gardens by the Bay to enjoy all the exclusive content that this event has to offer.

• Open the Pokémon GO app when you get to Gardens by the Bay during the date and time listed on your event ticket.
• Trainers at the park who do not possess a ticket will not have access to event-exclusive content.
• Any minor attending the event must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For children under 14, a ticket must be purchased for the attending child and for the parent or guardian accompanying them.
• You will not be able to participate in the event outside of the park, even with a ticket.
• There are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• You will see “Tickets Available!” next to the Safari Zone: Singapore event ticket link if the event hasn’t sold out.
• The event experience will be available only at this location on the specified date and time.

There will be some charging stations provided inside the park. Look for objects with the word POWERBANK written on them. However, we suggest bringing your own portable chargers due to the limited number of stations available.

Please speak to staff at the Information desk during the event if you lose any items while in Gardens by the Bay. Please note that the remaining items will be disposed of once the event ends, and that we will not be responsible for any lost and found items thereafter.

• This event will be held regardless of the weather. However, it may be canceled in the case of extreme weather or natural disasters. The event may also be canceled depending on current COVID-19 guidelines.
• Please check weather forecasts prior to attending the event and wear appropriate clothing.
