Amazing concert!!! KSHMR, as always, gives a whole new meaning to the term "set", weaving his songs into a story with rich cultural significance, devoid of any objectification. His music always has amazing beats and rhythms and incorporates a wide variety of instruments from the West and the East. One of the few grounded DJs, who still is in touch with his roots. Nice Insomniac special fx, especially with the snow. Makj also gave a terrific, unique set with some awesome mixes on favorite throwbacks.

KSHMR's sets follow the same formula and storyline, so if you've seen him before or have watched any sets online, you can expect a very similar show. Good vibes, good energy, and overall a good time!

KSHMR Announces Tour, Winter ’24 Club Dates

Once a member of the hip-hop production duo The Cataracts, responsible for songs like “Like A G6,” Niles Hollowell-Dhar has enjoyed a hugely successful second act under the name KSHMR. Ranking in the top 20 in DJ Mag’s ranking each year since pivoting away from the Cataracts, he recently announced a new slate of tour dates for early 2024.

The ’24 KSHMR Tour Takes His Talents Countrywide

As mentioned, KSHMR will tour chiefly in nightclubs—beginning with a February 9th date in DC at Echnostage. From there, the DJ will ping pong between the coasts, hitting Toronto, San Francisco and San Diego before returning for Boston and Chicago dates. If you’re in California, you’re in luck, as KSHMR currently has back-to-back LA dates on the docket, on March 8th at Academy and March 9th at Exchange LA. Along the way, Houston, Vancouver, Atlantic City and Montreal are also on the docket, before things close out with a March 30th performance at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner.

While KSHMR’s bread and butter remains the big room EDM expected of any DJ , he also dedicates a large chunk of solo output to honoring and acknowledging his heritage. Born to a Kashmiri Hindu father, he has released a couple of projects solely focused on that section of his story. That includes his latest, Karam, which serves as a spotlight for the Indian hip-hop scene, enlisting the likes of MC Stan, Phenom, Seedhe Maut and DIVINE up and down the tracklist.

Given the nightlife focus of KSHMR’s tour, it seems like a safe bet that his more electronic stylings will be front and center for these dates, but there’s no doubt he’ll find a way to work his more recent output into these shows. KSHMR teams up with Hannah Boleyn on “Tears On The Dancefloor” after announcing a run of North American club shows in 2024.

While his earliest days were spent producing hip-hop and pop, KSHMR came into his own over the past decade in the electronic music scene. His behind-the-scenes work as a producer on Borgeous and DVBBS’ “Tsunami” led to the formation of his solo project, and he’s been off to the races ever since with smash hits that have dominated festival stages worldwide. This has continued into 2023, which saw KSHMR release his 24-track concept album focused on Indian Rap, KARAM , but he wasn’t quite done before the year’s end.

More recently, KSHMR unveiled his latest single that brings him back into the realm of dance music, “ Tears On The Dancefloor .” Co-written by Sarah de Warren and Hannah Boleyn , who also acts as the featured vocalist on the tune, this track turns back time to the disco era with its emotion-fueled lyrics front and center in the intro before building into a larger-than-life drop that makes it ready for any festival mainstage.

KSHMR Shares Uptempo Club Gem, “All Night,” Featuring gritney

KSHMR is charging into 2024 with the release of his new uptempo vocal single, “ All Night ,” out now on his own Dharma Worldwide imprint.

The new track sees the LA-based producer link up with talented dance music vocalist Sarah de Warren –delivering ethereal vocals under her alter ego gritney –on a powerfully diverse psytrance-influenced gem that melds driving bass and progressive melodies for a speedy club hit.

Diving back into dance music after the release of his #1 Indian hip-hop album KARAM , KSHMR and de Warren collaborated in the songwriting stage on KSHMR’s last release, “ Tears On The Dancefloor (feat. Hannah Boleyn) .” Their unique musical chemistry is showcased once again on “All Night.”

“Working with gritney was so easy and natural,” KSHMR said in a press release. “We had just written ‘Tears On The Dancefloor’ together with Hannah and were eager to start something new. gritney came to my birthday, and it was there that I played her the beat for ‘All Night.’ It didn’t take her long to write the lyrics, and from there, it was just a matter of perfecting the production.”

To the delight of fans in Washington, D.C. and Toronto, “All Night” has been a cornerstone of KHSMR’s performances on the first two dates of his currently underway North American club tour. With another 13 dates to go, he’ll next head to 1015 Folsom in San Francisco this weekend, ahead of stops in Chicago, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Denver, and more.

KSHMR Releases Self-Penned, Personal & Powerful Single “Happy” (ft. Tiina), Drops Tour Dates

The Los Angeles-based Indian-American Niles Hollowell-Dhar is a globally acclaimed artist who originally began in hip-hop and moved into pop music with the 2010 global smash “Like A G6.” From there, he transitioned into dance music, producing tracks like the 2013 hit “Tsunami.” Next, he launched his own artist project, KSHMR, and took the scene by storm with 10 Beatport number 1 hits. Now KSHMR returns with his newest single, “Happy,” for which he teamed up one of the most successful Finnish singer and songwriter Tiina to bring life to the powerful lyrics he penned himself.

“I was excited to get back in the studio with Tiina after making ‘ Do Bad Well ‘ with her years ago. This time, I started us off with some chords in the Phrygian , which is darker and unusual for most dance songs. She began to sing melodies, and the song blossomed from there. The lyrics are about being numbed by trauma and emerging with a twisted sense of zen. I was very happy we could fit that interesting musicality and subject matter into a dance song.” – KSHMR “To me, the song is about using hard times as fuel and a source of power to get where you wanna go, even if you get lost on the way there. KSHMR marks a decade under his the moniker with the release of “Devotion,” a powerful club anthem he’s been showcasing on tour. Celebrating 10 years as a DJ and producer, KSHMR honors his Indian roots and other global cultures, collaborating with Thai artist 22Bullets for this latest track.

“Devotion” blends robust basslines with vibrant instrumental synths and KSHMR’s iconic melodies, creating a captivating sound that transcends typical genre boundaries. The track, which cleverly incorporates a sample from Nomad’s 1990s hit “(I Wanna Give You) Devotion,” has already become a crowd favorite in KSHMR’s North American club tour and during his performance at last month’s Ultra Music Festival Miami Main Stage. 22Bullets, known for his work with artists like David Guetta and Ty Dolla $ign, and for his releases on KSHMR’s Dharma imprint, previously teamed up with KSHMR on the 2022 track “It Isn’t Me.”

“I’ve been wanting to work with 22Bullets on a track for my sets for a long time; he’s one of my favorite up-and-coming producers that’s released on my label Dharma before. He’s also one of the few producers representing Thailand in the electronic scene. Flipping this sample was the perfect collaboration, I knew it would get big reactions live. Niles Hollowell-Dhar is a globally acclaimed artist who originally began in hip-hop, and moved into pop music with the 2010 global smash ‘Like A G6.’ From there he transitioned into dance music, producing tracks like the 2013 big room hit ‘Tsunami.’ From there he launched his own artist project, KSHMR, and took the scene by storm with 10 Beatport #1’s such as ‘Wildcard’ and the 2015 banger ‘Secrets’ with Tiesto. Soon after releasing his debut album ‘Harmonica Andromeda,’ KSHMR firmly cemented his reputation as one of the most dynamic and diverse acts in global electronic music, gaining DJ Mag’s prestigious ‘Best Live Act’ award in 2016. As a pioneer and music enthusiast who values creative freedom, he created his Dharma Worldwide label in 2017 and subsequently Dharma Studio in 2021, where producers can find his tutorials and sound packs. His sound pack series ‘Sounds of KSHMR’ is the among the most used in modern music, and his latest release, ‘Sounds of KSHMR’ Vol. 4’ debuted as the #1 pack on Splice and has remained in the Top 10 since. May 2023 will see KSHMR release his eagerly anticipated collaboration with MC Stan ‘Haath Varti’ taken from his forthcoming album ‘KARAM’ – which features the biggest artists in Indian hip hop.
