1. Ballast Point Tasting Room & Kitchen

New to Long Beach, Ballast Point is located on Alamitos Bay with one of the best sunset views in the city. Take the water taxi from downtown Long Beach over to this brewery to start your evening off with a scenic harbor tour. Indoor and outdoor seating makes this local watering hole popular year-round.

2. Beachwood BBQ & Brewing

Located on the Promenade in downtown Long Beach, Beachwood BBQ and Brewing teeters somewhere between tradition and innovation, offering tasty 'que and fantastic brews. You won't find Coors or Heineken at Beachwood's bar. In fact, the beer lineup features a selection of hand crafted beers brewed on premise and 24 rotating microbrews, providing the best craft beer selection in Long Beach. In case you weren’t convinced already, Beachwood won Best Brew Pub in the World at the World Beer Cup in 2016.

3. Beachwood Blendery

Located in downtown Long Beach, Beachwood Blendery is the sister to Beachwood BBQ & Brewing. The Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. The beers produced here are of the sour variety imitating the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Tasting room hours vary Wednesday-Sunday.

4. Belmont Brew Company

BBC is a local tradition located on the sand between downtown Long Beach and Belmont Shore. Opened in the summer of 1990, Belmont Brewing Company is the oldest brew pub in the Los Angeles County. Rent a bike in downtown and ride along our waterfront bike and pedestrian path all the way to our local brewery. You’ll find a range of brews and blends, but we can’t lie, the Strawberry Blonde is definitely our favorite.

5. Long Beach Beer Lab

In the heart of the Wrigley neighborhood, along the Willow corridor, you will find the Long Beach Beer Lab . A small manufacturing brewery dedicated to fermentation forward beverages. Beer isn’t the only subject they focus on, though. Alongside the beverage manufacturing we have a small production sourdough bakery, because I guess if you think about it, there are some similarities. Tap Room hours vary from Thursday-Monday. Long Beach Beer Lab offers outdoor seating for a safe and socially-distant brewery experience.

6. Timeless Pints Brewing Company

Located a just behind the Long Beach Airport, Timeless Pints Brewing Company is a husband and wife team who started their journey as home brewers. They opened in 2013, and the brewery has developed eye-catching branding and a long list of flavorful ales. Hoppy IPAs are particularly well represented. The taproom is open Thursdays through Sundays. Timeless Pints Brewing Company is now offering outdoor service!

7. Weiland Brewery Restaurant

Located near the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, Weiland Brewery Restaurant is passionate about providing a fun, casual environment where you can enjoy quality beer and a relaxed atmosphere. They offer a tremendous selection of locally sourced craft beers, highlighted by the classic Anchor Steam beer. They even brew their own Amber Ale & Blonde Lager.
