Less Than Jake announce 'Hello Rockview' 25th anniversary tour (US)

Less Than Jake have announced US tour dates to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album Hello Rockview . Voodoo Glow Skulls , The Toasters , Pink Spiders , Spring Heeled Jack , Devon Kay and The Solutions , and The Venomous Pinks will be playing on select dates. Less Than Jake will bring their 25th anniversary tour to Europe and the UK starting in May and released their album Silver Linings in 2020.

Less Than Jake Extend 2023 Tour Dates: Ticket Presale Code & On-Sale Info

Ska punk outfit Less Than Jake have added 2023 tour dates. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album Hello Rockview , the band will play the LP in full during shows billed as Welcome To Rockview .

The newly planned shows are set at mid-sized venues across North America in July and August with opening acts on select dates including Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Toasters, The Pink Spiders, Spring Heeled Jack, Devon Kay, and / or The Venomous Pinks.

In May, Less Than Jake have shows and festival performances in Europe, including opening slots for NOFX and Anti-Flag. LTJ also plan to perform at Punk in Drublic in September and When We Were Young in October.

When do less than jake 2023 tour tickets go on sale and what is the presale code.

For the new dates, the general public on-sale begins as early as March 23. Presales are currently underway for VIP packages, Live Nation, LN Mobile App., and local venues / radio. Tickets for the previously announced shows are now on sale. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.

Less Than Jake announce Welcome To Rockview Tour 2023 and it's coming to Orlando this summer

SKA vetrans Less Than Jake are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1998 classic Hello Rockview this year, and in honor of the occasion they've announced a tour where they'll be playing the album in full this summer.

The Welcome To Rockview Tour 2023, will see Less Than Jake head out on the road with special guests Voodoo Glow Skulls & Devon Kay.

The tour includes a stop at the House of Blues Orlando on Saturday, July 22.

Tickets are on sale now via Live Nation for presale, Code, OPENER, with general sale tickets on sale Friday at 12 pm.

March 27, 2023 by traci turner, ska punk rockers less than jake will take to the tour bus this summer for their welcome to rockview tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album “hello rockview.”.

The Florida band’s third album – home to “All My Best Friends Are Metalheads” and “History of a Boring Town” – will be played in full on the tour. We suspect they will slip in some other favorites like “The Science of Selling Yourself Short,” “The Rest of My Life,” “Automatic,” and “She’s Gonna Break Soon.”

Less Than Jake will spend the summer celebrating in Europe, and then head our way to kick off the U.S. tour in Nashville. Joining them will be Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Toasters, Pink Spiders, Spring Heeled Jack, Devon Kay & The Solutions, and Venomous Pinks on varying dates.

For the two socal dates, we get the toasters and venomous pinks (august 25th in los angeles at echoplex and august 26th in santa ana at the observatory). tickets are on sale now..

Less than Jake announced “Welcome To Rockview 2023” tour with Voodoo Glow Skulls and a bunch of other bands supporting. The ska punk band will be playing their album Hello Rockview in its entirety, which I think is one of their best albums. On July 6th, they will start out in Nashville, TN at Brooklyn Bowl (so dumb with the name) and end things on the first leg in Orlando at the House of Blues on July 22nd. Then they will continue the tour in August and into September to other parts of the country with the Toasters, Venomous Pinks and other bands.

The Toasters, Venomous Pinks, The Pink Spiders, Spring Heeled Jack, Devon Kay and the Solutions and others will be playing on select dates.

Out of the Centre

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
