Silver Cross Pioneer

The Silver Cross Pioneer is a variable, lightweight stroller system with a high weight capacity. Thanks to the elegant, chrome chassis equipped with rubber wheels with suspension, the Pioneer can even handle a bit of off-road - and of course, all of the urban surfaces.

The simple-to-use brake can be activated by pushing one side and deactivated by pushing the other. When shopping, you will appreciate the massive shopping basket. The Base Pack you get when buying the Pioneer consists of a chassis, a reversible bucket-type seat unit, a foldable carrycot, the Simplicity car seat adapters, and a rain cover. To complete the set, you have to get the color-coordinated hood and apron set available separately. By swapping the set for a different color and/or reversing the seat liner, you can customize your Pioneer.

The hood with an additional pop-out sun visor, the bumper bar, and the apron are shared between the carrycot and the seat unit, the same as with the Wayfarer model. Premium editions, such as the Pioneer Special Edition Eton Grey, the Pioneer Special Edition Expedition, and the Pioneer Special Edition Henley, already come with the hood, apron, seat liner, and changing bag included.

Silver Cross Pioneer Special Edition

With global and heritage influences, the Silver Cross Pioneer Expedition Pram will take you and baby on an exciting voyage of discovery.

With warm bronze undertones and exclusive basket-weave fabrics, the Silver Cross Pioneer Expedition is beautifully crafted. The stylish gloss bronze chassis and cocoa leatherette bumper bar and handle add to the feeling of luxury. In addition, the Special Edition Expedition Pioneer comes with a stylish co-ordinating changing bag and luxurious seat liner. The Silver Cross Pioneer is the complete package and is ideal for newborns through to toddlers. Use the carrycot as a lie-flat pram. Then, as your baby grows, switch to the multi-recline seat unit to use your Pioneer as a rearward or forward-facing pram. Add a Maxi-Cosi car seat (additional) to create a complete travel system. WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Pioneer Chassis : The lightweight chrome plated chassis folds down to an extremely compact size for easy storage. The alloy style wheels carry puncture resistant tyres.
• Pioneer Carrycot: The ventilated carrycot has a lovely white liner and mattress.
• Pioneer Reversible Seat Unit: The seat unit sits in an elevated position and can be forward or parent facing. It is adjustable with one hand while the baby is still in it.
• Pioneer Hood & Apron Set: The 3 position hood is UPF 50+ resistant and removable for easy cleaning and has a viewing window. The  padded apron adds extra warmth and comfort for your baby. Both hood and apron are used on the carrycot and pushchair.
• Multi Position Cup Holder : The cup holder is detachable for when it is not needed, and can be attached to either the left or the right of the frame.
• Extra Large Shopping Basket : The generous shopping basket folds flat with the rest of the pram.

The Pioneer pram from Silver Cross is the go-anywhere travel system that’s ready for every family adventure. With multi-terrain wheels and dynamic four-way suspension, Pioneer provides on-the-go comfort and style wherever you travel. Ideal for off-road adventures, but equally at home on city streets, Pioneer’s large wheels and tough suspension provide your baby with the smoothest of rides. Suitable from birth, the carrycot is lined in soft naturally anti-bacterial bamboo fabric that also helps to regulate temperature. The reversible, multi-recline pushchair seat can be used up to 22kg and features the new Silver Cross Genius harness system. Designed for greater baby comfort and ease-of-use, the harness has a magnetic 5-point safety buckle, padded chest and harness pads and one-motion, rucksack-style adjustments. Pioneer has an extra-large shopping basket that’s perfect for storing those baby essentials and shopping. 30 Days No Quibble Returns

At UK Baby Centre we offer a 30 day no quibble returns period on all products, if you change your mind provided the item is still in its original packaging with all labels attached and in a saleable unused condition. If the items were specially ordered in for you from a range that we don't normally stock, then this does not apply and additional extra restocking fees may apply. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to processed.

To process a return please use the contact form and provide your full name , order number and product you would like to return or you can also email us directly [email protected]  or call 01202 730630.

You can either arrange the return at your own cost and risk with a courier of your choice or we can arrange collection for you at a cost of £25 per box (for furniture, up to £40 per box). Please arrange a return first and do not just send something back without notifying us first. Unfortunately, if furniture has been assembled, we are unable to accept it back for return, so please check the colour before assembly.

If you wish to return something that originally incurred a delivery charge such as a £4.95 charge for an order under £49.99, Saturday delivery charge, or non UK Mainland / Scottish Highlands address this delivery charge would not be refunded and would be reduced from the order total.

Please make sure that the package is opened and/or repacked in a reasonable condition. When returning the item, make sure there are no odours on the item, as these will be reflected in your refund.

Any order that is cancelled after it has been dispatched will still incur a delivery charge that will reflect in your refund. This included items eligible for free delivery. We can take up to 48 hours to respond to emails. If you need to cancel an order, please call us.

Beautiful pram, looks great and functions really well. Very sturdy. Easy to fold and light enough to lift into boot. Only negative is I wish the canopy was a little lower to block out wind and sun. I also bought the adapters to elevate the bassinet, lucky I did as it would have been hard to use the basket underneath.
