Saw Liam in 2019 at MANC. What an awesome night - got on the front row which meant I had to stay in position for approx 4hrs before he came on - God was it worth it! Almost pissed myself but to get that close to a living legend i would have pissed myself!

Can I just say; what's all this bollocks about crowd interaction - Liam says the odd thing but that's not his style. I don't go to see LG to hear him talk bollocks to the crowd, I go to see him belt out LG tunes! Rock n Roll! These muppets saying he wasn't that good because he didn't interact with the crowd need to get a few more beers down them and just enjoy themselves. Love LG best performer in the world!

Liam Gallaghers As You Were concert at Birmingham Arena was amazing. Such a great atmosphere and excellent performance by Mr Gallagher who always knows how to get the crowd going. His vocals were spot on too. His prank of saying it was the last song which meant a few people left only for him to come back on and sing Wonderwall was class as everyone stood and sang along to it. I knew he was prancing there was no way he wasn’t going to sing wonderwall and his true fans knew that

The venue was good and security checks were also good. As a performance Liam chose a good set list but I was disappointed to see so many people smoking in the venue especially when it’s indoors. My daughter is a big fan so she was with me, she enjoyed all the songs, as a performer he’s not as entertaining as a lot of bands I’ve seen and doesn’t really interact with the crowd as much as others either.

I probably wouldn’t see him again to be honest.

Liam put on an outstanding show in Cardiffs motorpoint arena .the atmosphere was pure electric opening with an oasis classic which set the tone for a rousing set that had everyone bouncing with a great mix of oasis faves and new solo tracks that sounded great live .one of best gigs iv been to. Totally blown away

Great gig till he left abruptly without a good night or encore. Many of us stood there waiting for word it was actually done. Strangest ending to a concert I've seen.

I should add that I spent almost as long as Liam was on stage getting out of the parking lot. LAST time at Rebel. Ghastly experience.

Loved Liam's show in Amsterdam, amazing energy from this guy. The drunk Brits on the dancefloor were a pain, though. Whoever invented the practice of hurling half-full plastic cups of beer over the crowd?

If you don't fancy getting completely drenched, consider proper seats for Liam's shows.

11/10 absolutely biblical. I go to concerts quite regularly but I have never experienced something quite like that. The atmosphere was incredible and Liams live vocals were very impressive. Set list was also perfect. Definitely the best night of my life so far, can’t stop thinking about it.

LIAM GALLAGHER JOHN SQUIRE

Special guest: jake bugg.

The news that Manchester icons Liam Gallagher and John Squire were collaborating on a new project ignited a wave of anticipation – uniting the personality and attitude of the Oasis f rontman’s vocals with the remarkable guitar talents of The Stone Roses’ creative force would surely be something special. And their debut track, ‘Just Another Rainbow’ , lived up to the hype as it hit #16 on the UK singles chart while also shooting direct to #1 on the sales, downloads, vinyl and physical singles charts – in the process achieving Liam’s highest singles chart entry in fifteen years.

But that was just the start. Now Liam Gallagher and John Squire announce much more from their collaboration. Their self-titled debut album will be released on March 1 st and is today launched alongside its second single, ‘Mars To Liverpool’ . They also announce details of their first UK tour together, as well as select shows in Ireland , France , Germany , Italy and the USA .

Liam says, “ I can’t wait for people to hear the album. I think the people that are into the Stone Roses and Oasis and that kinda thing, I think they’ll fucking love it. It’s spiritual, it’s crucial. LG x”

John adds, “It was really inspiring to have those Knebworth gigs fresh in my mind as I started writing. Then it was a case of trying to steer it away from all being too rocky, and trying to mix up the sentiments as well. I like the way that in some parts, it’s quite melancholic and it can make you well up, but there are other parts that are kind of irreverent, rude or crude. There’s a little bit of everything in there, I think it’s a really good mix. I had a hunch that we’d sound good together, but I wasn’t prepared for it to be such a good fit.”

Like ‘Just Another Rainbow’ before it, ‘Mars To Liverpool’ delivers exactly what you’d hope from the pair. Delivering infectious rock ‘n’ roll with an undercurrent of ‘60s-tinged psychedelia, it sees John weaving inventive guitar work – chiming riffs, fluid classic rock solos – around Liam’s uplifting vocal delivery. As with the best of their work from their famous bands and solo work, ‘Mars To Liverpool’ elevates its air of melancholy into a soaring, crowd-pleasing anthem. So that’s now two killer singles to maximise anticipation for the release of the album.

Long-terms friends with a mutual admiration for each other’s work, the idea of a collaboration started when John joined Liam on-stage at his biblical Knebworth shows. Song ideas were soon flowing, and the album took shape with an intuitive intensity during in Los Angeles with the revered producer Greg Kurstin . He played bass throughout the record, while drums were performed by Joey Waronker ( Beck , R.E.M., Atoms For Peace ).

Liam Gallagher’s summer tour continues this weekend, with two shows at Knebworth – site of Oasis’ famous 1996 gigs – on June 3 and 4. Kasabian  will be lead support on both nights, while  Amyl And The Sniffers ,  Michael Kiwanuka ,  Fat White Family  and  Goat Girl  will play across the two nights.

Gallagher tweeted yesterday that he’s been inspecting the site of the shows. “Just been for a little mooch round KNEBWORTH there are no words let’s fucking have it,” he said.

The latest weather forecasts for the two shows  indicate that fans can be treated to mild conditions on both nights, with no rain currently forecast.

In a recent interview Gallagher teased that he  might dedicate a song to his estranged brother Noel at the gigs  this weekend. Speaking to Zoe Ball on  The Radio 2 Breakfast Show  last week, Gallagher was asked if he would be sending Noel a card for his birthday.

“Nah nah nah,” Liam replied. “When is it, Sunday? …I’ll have just done Knebworth, bless him, I might give him a shout out, dedicate one of his songs to him. That’ll do his head in won’t it?”

Gallagher will perform to 160,000 people across the two shows, which come just under 26 years since Oasis headlined two nights at the same venue. Those gigs were documented in the film  Oasis Knebworth 1996 , which was released last year.

LIAM GALLAGHER ANNOUNCES THE "DEFINITELY MAYBE 30 YEARS" ANNIVERSARY TOUR

It would be hard to top Liam Gallagher’s biblical Knebworth Park shows, which proved to be some of the biggest live events of 2022. But the always ambitious icon has once again excelled himself with news of a tour that will be bigger than biblical. Liam will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Oasis’s all-conquering and massively influential debut album by embarking upon the ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ arena tour in 2024.

The tour will see Liam perform the ‘Definitely Maybe’ album in full for the first time, along with some select b-sides from the era. The sets will of course be packed with classics  – ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, to name but a few. But it will also be a rare opportunity to see other album tracks that have rarely, if ever, been performed since the mid-‘90s, including ‘Up In The Sky’ and ‘Digsy’s Dinner’.

And there are numerous fan favourites that could be performed from the other songs that were released during the ‘Definitely Maybe’ era, which could potentially include another big hit in the shape of ‘Whatever’ as well as deep cuts such as ‘Fade Away’, ‘Listen Up’ and ‘Sad Song’.

The 12-date ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ tour is also massive in scale, with highlights including three nights at Manchester’s 23,500-capacity Co-Op Live, which will be the biggest arena in the country when it opens next May, as well as three shows at The O2 in London.

Liam says, “I'm bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn't be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x"

Liam Gallagher Adds Two New Dates to 2022 Tour

liam gallagher tour 2022 germany

It’s been 25 years since Oasis played one of the most notable events of the ‘90s – Knebworth 1996 . To commemorate the date, Liam Gallagher has announced a return to the infamous field with huge concerts on 3rd and 4th June 2022, alongside this adding two more dates in Manchester (1st) and Glasgow (26th) to support the release of his upcoming third album C’mon You Know .

Keen fans will have recently seen Oasis Knebworth 1996 , a documentary film released in cinemas that showcases the original footage from the Gallagher brother’s peak popularity – footage that hadn’t been seen in full since the live broadcast of the event itself. 250,000 fans attended the record-breaking event – and Gallagher’s anniversary aims to bring back the emotion with tracks from all his albums and surely a strong selection of Oasis tunes. Knebworth’s history has succeeded the band itself, and whilst many fans are certain one day the brothers will reform the band, next summer’s shows will give eager listeners the chance to feel connected with the band once again.

Gallagher will be bringing a host of famous acts including The Streets, Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Fat White Family and Goat Girl. The massive live show will be a moment of reminiscence for many, bringing back the excitement of 1996. Even the support acts feel connected closely to the original gig, as The Chemical Brothers, Ocean Colour Scene, Manic Street Preachers and The Prodigy preceded the stage before Oasis.

June is set to be Liam Gallagher’s month, especially for those who have dreamed for Oasis songs to be back at Knebworth once again. Tickets for Knebworth sold out in an instant, but general sale for Manchester (Etihad Stadium) and Glasgow (Hampden Park) go on sale Fri 15th October 2021.

Liam Gallagher has announced a new tour to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe. The run of dates in 2024 include three HUGE homecoming gigs in Manchester.

The rock 'n' roll star had been teasing the news on social media over the weekend - to the excitement of fans. He had posted a setlist containing the full tracklisting of the iconic Oasis album, which was first released in August 1994.

It has now been confirmed that the tour will see Liam perform the Definitely Maybe album in FULL for the first time. It will also include some "select B-sides from the era" with tickets for the tour going on sale on Friday .

The new tour will start in Sheffield, before taking in dates in London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Dublin and includes three huge homecoming shows at Manchester's new Co-Op Live Arena. They will no doubt be special shows for Liam - not least as the arena is right next to his beloved Man City's Etihad Stadium.

Two of the Manchester dates will be in the middle of the tour - before he returns again to round out the shows with a final closing night show at the Co-Op Live stadium on June 27, 2024.

Announcing the news this morning, Liam said: "I'm bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none.

"I wouldn't be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x"

The announcement from Liam's people this morning said: "It would be hard to top Liam Gallagher’s biblical Knebworth Park shows, which proved to be some of the biggest live events of 2022.

"But the always ambitious icon has once again excelled himself with news of a tour that will be bigger than biblical. Liam will celebrate the 30 th anniversary of the release of Oasis’s all-conquering and massively influential debut album by embarking upon the ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ arena tour in 2024.

"The tour will see Liam perform the ‘Definitely Maybe’ album in full for the first time, along with some select b-sides from the era. The sets will of course be packed with classics – ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, to name but a few.

"But it will also be a rare opportunity to see other album tracks that have rarely, if ever, been performed since the mid-‘90s, including ‘Up In The Sky’ and ‘Digsy’s Dinner’."

Tickets for the shows, listed below, will go on sale from T icketmaster here from 9AM on Friday 20 October.

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher announces 'Definitely Maybe' album tour

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is going on tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the British rock band's 1994 debut album, "Definitely Maybe," the lead vocalist announced in a statement released on Instagram Monday.

"I'm bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe tour," read the statement. "The most important album of the '90s bar none. I wouldn't be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let's celebrate together."

The monthlong tour around the United Kingdom kicks off in Sheffield, England, in June 2024.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

The tour will include performances of the tracks "Whatever," "Fade Away," "Listen Up," and "Sad Song." Gallagher made no mention of performing "Wonderwall," the group's biggest hit, which appeared on the band's second studio album, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" released in 1995.

USA TODAY has reached out to the band's representatives for comment.

Oasis unexpectedly disbanded in 2009, when Gallagher's brother, Noel Gallagher , chief songwriter and lead guitarist, left the group. Noel Gallagher went on to form his own group, Gallagher's High Flying Birds, while the remaining members of Oasis briefly continued as Beady Eye.

Until now, the band has denied ever reuniting .

The reunion could include Noel Gallagher and co-founding band member, guitarist Paul Arthurs. Arthurs, stage name Bonehead, began touring with Liam Gallagher again earlier this year after a battle with tonsil cancer.

However, on Live Nation, where tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, Liam Gallagher is listed as the performer, not Oasis.

It is unclear whether other previous band members, including Paul McGuigan, Tony McCarroll, Alan White, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and, most recently, Zak Starkey and Chris Sharrock, would return.

This summer, Noel Gallagher was asked at a live Q&A who would be on a hypothetical reunion tour.

"So me, Liam. Well, it's a funny thing because we're all at a certain age now," he said. "Hair was a thing in Oasis, so we'll have to see what everybody's hair is looking like. I'm in no matter what."

How to get Oasis tour tickets

Fans who find themselves in the United Kingdom next year can get tickets for the "Definitely Maybe" anniversary tour at 4 a.m. ET Friday.

Tickets are available on Live Nation at livenation.co.uk , which lists Liam Gallagher as the performer, across 12 dates in Sheffield, England; Cardiff, Wales; London; Manchester, England; and Glasgow, Scotland. Tickets for the Dublin dates are available at Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.ie .
