• Can you climb Chichen Itza? It is not possible to climb any structures at Chichen Itza. In 2006 authorities closed its pyramid and it is prohibited to climb.
• Do you need to book Chichen Itza tickets in advance? Chichen Itza is the second most visited archaeological site in Mexico and can be crowded. We recommend booking private tour for a worry-free experience, or make sure to arrive at the ticket counter before 08:00 AM in order to to avoid waiting in line. I just came back with my family from a wonderful vacation!! I'm so glad that we chose this place. The staff is so friendly. The hotel is so nice. The style is very unique. The pools are never crowded, and the staff are so helpful there. Walking a block away, you are in a very picturesque street: The 5th Ave, where you can find everything, and you can be in contact with the real people from Playa del Carmen. This hotel has two restaurants: The Grill and La Cocina. They have great food and great atmosphere. Also, it's located close to most important attractions: Xcaret, the ferry to Cozumel, etc., etc. You will love this place.

Take our adrenaline filled Tulum Ruins and Cenote Tour

On our Tulum tours from Playa del Carmen, we recommend visiting the famous Mayan City of Tulum early in the morning. This way we not only beat the crowds but also the heat!

The ancient Mayan city is located 65 km/38 miles to the south of Playa del Carmen and 138 km/85 miles in the south of Cancun making it the perfect Riviera Maya day tour.

After exploring the Mayan Ruins it is time to take the adventure up a notch. Hidden deep in the jungle, you will find zip-lines and cenotes all looked after by a Mayan community. The last zip-line is one of the tallest and longest in the River Maya area.

If you are lucky we will see freshwater turtles, cormorans, and herons.

Not into zip-lines? No problem, you can just hang out and chill enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the cenotes in a hammock. But the fun doesn’t end there, we take you even deeper in the jungle, where you will have the chance to jump into the crystal clear water from a cliff and a rope swing.

Another fun activity is crossing the lagoon by canoe. We will finish the day with a delicious lunch, which we have been told by our guests is some of the best food they had during their entire vacation.
