Ratings and Reviews
App stuck and can't purchase tickets.
I was able to make a purchase of one ticket which several times to do before it finally submitted. When I tried to do another purchase, I clicked tickets, picked my time and then hit buy now and kept being taken back to the results from my previous purchase. Tried refreshing, reload downloading the app and neither of that worked. Giving up on the app
It is impossible to delete or remove a ticket added to the basket. Worst experience.
Worst App Ever
I do t know where to begin. I would say that monkeys wrote this app, but that would be an insult to monkeys. When you click on 'tickets' to purchase your tickets, the app rarely finds a route even though the app itself has selected a route to and from your destination. After the app says it cannot find a route, it wants you to re-enter your travel info on a completely different screen. Once you do so, the app hangs and you have to exit the app and start this loop all over again. If, by some miracle, you advance after you click the tickets button to put in your seat preferences, etc., once you enter your email address and click "continue as guest", the app hangs. Why yes, I have tried registering. The app does not think my phone number is legitimate, which means you cannot register. I am trying to buy round trip tickets to Exeter. The app has been hung for the last 34 minutes. In 10 days (I installed the app 10 days ago), I have only been able to purchase tickets once. Horrible piece of work.

Great northern railway.
The Great Northern Route (formerly known as Great Northern Electrics) is the name given to suburban rail services run on the southern end of Britain's East Coast Main Line and its associated branches.
Services operate to or from London King's Cross and Moorgate in London. Destinations include Hertford North, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Peterborough, Cambridge and King's Lynn. Services run through parts of Greater London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
The route forms a major commuter route into London from Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and eastern Bedfordshire: ridership has grown rapidly over recent years. In 2009, rolling stock was transferred from other lines to allow additional services and longer trains to be run. In early 2018, the line was connected to the Thameslink route via a junction just south of the High Speed 1 bridge, north of King's Cross, allowing through services to south of London.
The service is currently operated by Govia Thameslink Railway, operating services under Great Northern as a brand.
Splitting Your Train Tickets on Great Northern Rail Trains is allowed and is when you purchase separate tickets for two or more sectors of the Great Northern Rail Trains rail route you wish to travel instead of just one more expensive through ticket without affecting your travel options in any way.
For example, if you wanted to travel on Great Northern Rail Trains from Station A to Station D, you would expect to buy a ticket direct from A to D. However, you may find it a lot cheaper to buy a ticket from A to B, and another from B to C and still another from C to D for a cheaper combined train ticket price. This is especially true when not all sectors of your journey are during peak time.
So, by buying several tickets that in combination make up your whole Great Northern Rail Trains route, you could massively reduce your travel cost and you will still travel on the same Great Northern Rail train, at the same time and most probably in the same seat but pay a lot less by using split tickets. This is what split ticketing on Great Northern Rail Trains is all about.
You may use split train tickets for travel on all Great Northern Rail Trains.
