Queen + Adam Lambert’s 150-minute career-spanning set list celebrates the band’s extraordinary back catalogue, lining up wall-to-wall immortal anthems like “We Will Rock You”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Radio Ga Ga”, and “Somebody To Love” alongside classic deep cuts and vintage fan favourites. Featuring a dazzling state-of-the-art stage design, incredible special effects and set pieces, this sense-swamping extravaganza has been blowing critics and fans away the world over.
As with last year’s UK and European dates, the 2023 North American tour will see Queen + Adam Lambert supported on stage by their regular band members, long-serving Queen keyboard player and musical director Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren.
Having extensively toured over the last few years, the Rhapsody show is forever evolving. But it remains at heart a tribute to Freddie Mercury’s majestic legacy, a confirmation of Brian and Roger’s undimmed musical prowess, plus a magnificent showcase for Adam’s vocal skills and electrifying stage charisma, all of which adds up to a glorious full-blooded celebration of one of the greatest songbooks in rock history. MORE ON TICKETS:
Queen + Adam Lambert appreciate that it is an enormous task to try and stop scalpers from taking advantage of fans wanting to purchase tickets for the tour. In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for The Rhapsody Tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.
Fans will still have protection against unforeseen circumstances. Those who purchase tickets and are no longer able to attend their show will be able to sell their tickets at the price they paid using a face value ticket exchange, including the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange – which is free to use for buyers and sellers. More information on how the Ticketmaster Exchange works is available here .
Unfortunately, the states of NY, IL, and CO have laws in place which protect ticket scalpers – these laws prohibit artists from being able to restrict the transfer of their tickets to face value exchanges only. For shows in these states, Queen + Adam Lambert strongly encourage fans to only buy or sell tickets to one another on face value exchanges. More information can be found here , with more details to follow in the coming weeks.

Queen + Adam Lambert Announce 2023 North American ‘Rhapsody’ Tour Dates
By Andy Greene
Andy Greene
Queen + Adam Lambert are bringing their Rhapsody Tour back to North America for their first shows on this side of the Atlantic since 2019. The tour kicks off Oct. 4 in Baltimore, Maryland, and wraps up Nov. 11 in Los Angeles, California.
“This tour has lots of new bells and lots of new whistles,” Queen guitarist Brian May tells Rolling Stone . “We’ve evolved as performers, I think. We’ve stepped up our game. We have better chemistry than ever. We understand each other better than ever, and we feel more free in the way that we interpret stuff. We’re very happy with it. There’s lots of new production and stuff we want to excite you with.”
The set will focus on Queen classics like “Another One Bites The Dust,” “Somebody to Love,” and “Radio Ga Ga.” But they sprinkled in deep cuts like “Tear It Up” and “A King of Magic” in Europe last year, and hope to keep doing that.
“This show has evolved since its been in America since we’ve taken it around the world,” adds drummer Roger Taylor. “It’s quite a different show in a way, while retaining all the big hits, which so many people want to hear.”
Ticket sales begin Friday, March 31. In an effort to keep prices low and reduce scalping, the band is going to utilize the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange, which makes it impossible to sell tickets for more than face value. “It’s an experiment,” says May. “We got sick of seeing our fans get ripped off by scalpers. We’re hoping this works out.”

Queen + Adam Lambert first played together on the 2009 finale of American Idol. They began gigging together in 2012, and have stayed on the road consistently over the past decade. Filling in for Freddie Mercury was a daunting task at first for Lambert, but he’s grown very comfortable with the job over the years.
“I feel less anxiety now,” he says. “I’ve matured as a performer. I trust myself a bit more. I will say that when the movie [ Bohemian Rhapsody ] came out, we had all these new fans, and many of them were young, I felt this little pang of, ‘Oh, these are new fans that haven’t been to a show yet.’ I needed to prove myself again, which is good. It keeps me on my game.”
The 2018 movie was an enormous success that grossed $911 million and won four Academy Awards, including Best Actor for star Rami Malek. It ends at Live Aid in 1985, and there’s been scattered talk over the past few years of a sequel that would chronicle Mercury’s final years.

“He would be welcome,” adds Taylor. “But I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
At the moment, this next leg of the Rhapsody Tour is just 14 shows, but it’s very possible they’ll tack on more. “People are buying tickets,” says Lambert. “And hey, we like performing.”

Queen + Adam Lambert Unveil North American ‘Rhapsody’ Tour Dates: ‘These Are New Glory Days’

“These are kind of new glory days for us,” said Queen guitarist and founding member Brian May, who was literally knighted by King Charles III earlier this month. “It’s nice to think that hopefully there will be the demand for that.”
But the guitarist, along with founding drummer Roger Taylor and singer Adam Lambert , was on the other side of the Atlantic in Thursday, in New York to announce the group’s 14-show North American leg of its “Rhapsody” tour — its first since 2019 — which runs from Oct. 4 through Nov. 11.

Shows on the overseas “Rhapsody” tour dates featured around 25 songs plus four encore numbers, and included the hits “Killer Queen,” “Fat Bottomed Girls, “Another One Bites the Dust, “We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions” and the song with more than 2 billion Spotify streams that lent its title to a film and this tour, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Queen promises some deeper cuts on this jaunt. Lambert says, “I’m not sure exactly what we’ll pull out for this one. Look, I would be happy just to show up and do what I was told if that was how it was. But I’ve been really fortunate to work with these two gentlemen who are very collaborative, and we get to all throw ideas in and work things out. I’m really grateful for that it makes me even more invested in it.
It’s been a decade since the group’s first live American concert, though the first time they performed was in 2009 when May and Taylor were guests on the eighth season of “Idol.” May remembers the first actual American concert in Las Vegas in 2013 for the iHeart Music Festival: “It felt so good both internally and from the [crowd] reaction that we thought, ‘My God, this is something we shouldn’t be letting go.’ I think we foresaw some kind of future, didn’t we? But not quite as big as it actually happened. It’s been colossal.”
Lambert agreed, “I don’t think I would have imagined that it would have been the gift that keeps on giving.”
The current Rhapsody tour features Queen + Adam Lambert’s regular band members, longtime keyboard player and musical director Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren. Founding bassist John Deacon left the band and effectively retired from music following Freddie Mercury’s 1991 death, and chose not to be present at Queen’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
Despite a 30-year-plus age difference between Lambert, 41, and May, 75 and Taylor, 73, the three have an easy camaraderie that’s evident both onstage and off. Lambert was only three when Queen’s iconic 1985 Live Aid performance rocked the world, but it was something he got to recreate at the Fire Fight fundraiser concert in Sydney, Australia in February 2020, a month before Covid shut down the world.
As a fan growing up, Lambert was familiar with Queen’s Live Aid footage. “But when it came time to first join the band on stage, I was like, ‘I have to know my stuff’ so I watched as much as I could. Besides Live Aid, one of my favorite things was Montreal concert where Freddie was running around in a pair of itty bitty white shorts and no shoes,” Lambert says. “I just I remember seeing that and going ‘This guy’s amazing.’ He was so free and ridiculous and just full of joy and I’ve been so inspired by that spirit. I try to approach shows with that same humor…”
“And shorts?” Taylor quipped.
“Not the shorts for me — Freddie had much better legs,” Lambert concluded.
A general on sale date for the Queen + Adam Lambert U.S. tour is March 31, and in light of exorbitant ticket prices and “dynamic pricing,” the band stated in a release that “In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for the Rhapsody tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.”

How Ticketing Works For Queen + Adam Lambert’s The Rhapsody Tour
- Copied to Clipboard
After a four-year-long hiatus, Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor and their exceptional frontman Adam Lambert have announced they will set out on a spectacular North America run this fall.
ONSALE: Tickets will be available via a general onsale beginning Friday, March 31 at 10 A.M. local venue time HERE .
As Queen + Adam Lambert announced, they have also set terms in place to minimize scalping and get tickets into the hands of fans at the prices they set. Here is some important info:
- TICKETS WILL HAVE RESTRICTED TRANSFER : Ticketmaster will be following the artist’s terms and any tickets sold on our platform will be non-transferable to prevent tickets from being resold for a profit. (Please note: This does not apply to tickets purchased for tour dates in New York, Illinois, and Colorado, where state laws prohibit artists from restricting resale.)
- TICKETS CAN ONLY BE RESOLD AT ORIGINAL PRICE : To give fans flexibility if their plans change, the tour will utilize Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange, which allows fans to sell their tickets for the price they paid, including fees and taxes. The exchange is free to use for buyers and sellers. That way, if a fan can’t make the show, they have a way to get their money back while making another fan’s night.
The Face Value Exchange will be launched at a later date, and we will keep this page updated with more details in the coming weeks.
What does it mean if a ticket has restricted transfer?
If you can no longer attend a show, you can sell your tickets for the price you paid, including fees and taxes, using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. Important note: Fans should not attempt to purchase tickets from sites outside of those made available on the Face Value Exchange. We found the cheapest tickets for all 23 queen ‘rhapsody tour’ concerts.
There’s no need to feel “Under Pressure.”
Although Queen and Adam Lambert’s ‘Rhapsody Tour’ kicks off in just two weeks, it isn’t too late to pick up last-minute tickets to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers live this year.
In fact, as of now, tickets are available for all 23 concerts on the nationwide run.
That includes back-to-back gigs at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Friday, Oct. 13 .
Want to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers bust out fresh versions of timeless classics like “We Will Rock You,” “We Are The Champions,” “You’re My Best Friend,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and, of course, “Bohemian Rhapsody” live?
If that’s the case, you won’t have to spend too much depending on which show you attend.
At the time of publication, we found some tickets going for as low as $71 before fees on Vivid Seats.
To be completely fair, that price is a bit of an outlier. Tickets for other shows start anywhere from $80 to $230 before fees.
Still, it’s hard to put a price tag on seeing one of rock’s most storied, bombastic and greatest rock groups live.
Is your finger still hovering over the “purchase” button?
We’ve got all the details and more to get you in the door for Queen’s 2023 ‘Rhapsody Tour’ below.
All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.
Queen ‘Rhapsody Tour’ 2023 schedule
A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.
(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)
Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.
Queen band members
There may never have been a more high-profile lead singer replacement for a band than Adam Lambert assuming Freddie Mercury’s place back in 2011.
Who’s playing behind the 41-year-old former “American Idol” finalist though?
Well, original members drummer Roger Taylor and recently knighted guitarist Sir Brian May are still around 53 years after the band formed in 1970.
“These are kind of new glory days for us,” said May in an interview with Variety .
They’ll be joined by Spike Edney on keyboards and rhythm guitar, Neil Fairclough will handle bass and Tyler Warren plays percussion and drums.
Edney, Fairclough and Warren are also providing backup vocals on the tour.
Queen set list
Not many bands have a three-disc Greatest Hits album.
Queen does though.
That being said, it’s not easy to distill a legendary catalog into a single concert — classics like “Flash” might not make the cut.
Based on past gigs, here’s what you can expect to hear on this tour based on their 2019 U.S. concert set lists.
01.) “Now I’m Here”
02.) “Seven Seas of Rhye” 03.) “Keep Yourself Alive”
04.) “Hammer to Fall”
05.) “Killer Queen”
06.) “Don’t Stop Me Now”
07.) “In the Lap of the Gods… Revisited”
08.) “Somebody to Love”

Adam Lambert Says Freddie Mercury Is in His Heart 'Every Time I Take the Stage' as He and Queen Close Out 2023 Tour
Lambert, alongside original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, played the final two shows of their North American tour over the weekend at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles

Adam Lambert made sure to keep the legacy of late Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury , alive as he and original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor closed out their North American tour.
Over the weekend, Lambert, May and Taylor played the final two shows of their 2023 Rhapsody Tour at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The shows marked the end of Queen's 22-show North American Tour — their first tour in four years — which kicked off in October in Baltimore.
While addressing the crowd during Saturday's show, Lambert, 41, spoke about how fortunate he was to tour with the rock legends over the past 10 years. He also made sure to pay tribute to Mercury, who died at age 45 in 1991.
"L.A., what's up?" Lambert greeted the crowd. "It's so good to be home here after an amazing tour with two rock and roll legends. You know that I've been on the road for 10 years with Queen? Isn’t that nuts?"
"Just know that every time I get up here, I know that I’m f---ing lucky," Lambert continued. "I know how much of an honor this is. And be assured that every time I take the stage, I have one person in my heart: Freddie Mercury!"
As the crowd went wild, Lambert continued on. "You love Freddie too, right? That’s what this is, this is a celebration of Freddie and Queen," he said before breaking into Queen's hit, "Don't Stop Me Now."
Later during the show — which featured 150 minutes of hits that spanned Queen's decades-long career, including classics like "We Will Rock You," "Radio Ga Ga" and "Somebody to Love" — May, 76, honored his late bandmate in his own moment onstage.
Singing their acoustic song "Love of My Life," May sat on a stool and performed for the crowd before a clip of Mercury singing the same song appeared on the screen above the stage. At the end of the performance, May reached out to his left — the same direction where the clip of Mercury was positioned on the screen — making it appear as if the two were on stage together.
Though Lambert is assuming the lead singer role that Mercury once had, the American Idol alum and his bandmates have previously made it clear that he's not trying to be the late iconic singer.
"He doesn't try to be Freddie, which is wonderful," May told PEOPLE in March . "He always pays tribute to Freddie, which we love. We all do. Freddie's with us, but Adam interprets, he finds new ways to go and we are very much a team now. We discuss everything, we build, we rebuild and it's fun."
Lambert agreed, calling his partnership with May and Taylor, 74, a "team effort," and acknowledging that Mercury "laid the groundwork" for all that they've accomplished together.
"He's the originator. He can't be replaced, but it gives me so much freedom to just exist in a playful, kind of silly place," he said. "Freddie had a great sense of humor, from what I hear and what I've seen, and he was sort of limitless."
While it's been 10 years since they first started touring together, May said he still finds it unbelievable that he gets to tour with Taylor and perform their Queen hits with the help of Lambert.
"The amazing thing is we didn't look for Adam. I often think, 'My God, how did this happen?' He is kind of a gift from God," he told PEOPLE in March. "Roger and I, after we lost Freddie, said 'OK, this is the end of it.' We knew consciously, 'No, we're not going to this anymore.'"
"He just appeared," May continued of Lambert. "The voice is extraordinary. There is no other voice in the universe like his voice. Plus he has all the other stuff, I mean, look at the guy. He's born to wear diamonds."

With the North American portion of their tour now complete, Queen and Lambert have a few months off before heading to Japan in 2024 for a five-show run, kicking off Feb. 4.
"It's just a privilege to be able to do this at the top level that we are," May told PEOPLE in March. "How wonderful. How could you possibly ask for more? I think we're very happy doing it. I'm probably going to do it 'til I drop."

Get ready to hear Queen ’s self-titled debut album in a whole new way. The classic rock legends’ 1973 LP, now retitled Queen I , has been significantly revamped for a new box set coming Oct. 25, which also features extensive bonus material. The 6CD 1LP set contains 63 tracks, including 43 brand new mixes.
Guitarist Brian May describes Queen I as “a brand new 2024 rebuild of the entire Queen debut album.” Audio engineers Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J Macrae, and Kris Fredriksson have remixed and restored the original recordings using modern techniques and equipment to revitalize the sound of the album. “All the performances are exactly as they originally appeared in 1973, but every instrument has been revisited to produce the ‘live’ ambient sounds we would have liked to use originally,” May explains. “The result is Queen as it would have sounded with today’s knowledge and technology – a first.”
Queen was originally recorded in mostly overnight sessions at London’s Trident Studios. “We’d arrive at three in the morning and then go on, for all the hours that we could grab,” explains drummer Roger Taylor . At Trident, band members clashed with studio staff on multiple fronts. For one, Queen were forced to use the studio’s in-house drum kit in a sound booth rather than their own drums out in the main room “They had this very dead drum sound, and it was never the sound we wanted,” Taylor says.

Order Queen’s Queen I now.
In addition to the new stereo mix and remaster, Queen I boasts a new tracklist, with “Mad The Swine” reinserted as the album’s fourth song. It was originally removed from the album due to another dispute between Queen and a producer.
Beyond the main album, the Queen I box set contains a wealth of bonus material. CD2 includes the De Lane Lea Demos, recordings of “Keep Yourself Alive,” “The Night Comes Down,” “Jesus,” “Liar,” and “Great King Rat” tracked in preparation for the proper recording sessions. CD3 has alternate takes from Trident, while CD4 features the Queen I instrumental backing tracks minus vocals, spotlighting the band’s brilliant interplay behind superstar frontman Freddie Mercury.
CD5 comprises BBC radio sessions from the era, including a performance on John Peel’s Sounds Of The Seventies that marked the first ever broadcast of Queen’s music. CD6 wraps things up with live recordings from Queen’s March 1974 concert at London’s Rainbow Theatre with a handful of previously unreleased live tracks from other gigs mixed in. The disc concludes with the earliest recordings of Queen from their very first show on Aug. 23, 1970 at Imperial College, “Jesus” and a cover of the Spencer Davis Group’s “I’m A Man.”
Queen I is rounded out by a vinyl edition of the revamped album plus a 108-page book featuring handwritten lyrics and memorabilia. In addition to physical and digital editions of the full box set, various condensed versions of Queen I will be available on CD, LP, picture disc, and cassette. A 7” single featuring the 2024 mix of “ The Night Comes Down ” will be released Oct. 4 in advance of the box set, and those who purchase the digital version of the Queen I box will receive “The Night Comes Down” immediately.

King Charles and Queen Camilla's Australian royal tour details revealed
By Karishma Sarkari | 2 days ago
New details of King Charles and Queen Camilla 's upcoming royal tour have been revealed.
The couple will touch down for their first official visit to Australia since the coronation on October 18, visiting Sydney and Canberra before departing on the 23rd.
Their Majesties' royal visit will be ahead of their trip to Samoa for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which runs from October 21-25.

"Australians look forward to welcoming The King and Queen back to Australia in October, and highlighting the best of the Australian spirit," Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said.
The King made 15 official visits to Australia during his time as Prince of Wales - in addition to spending a semester at school in Geelong back in 1966 - but this will mark his first visit as sovereign.
The four-day tour also marks the first visit to Australia by a reigning monarch since 2011.
Queen Camilla made three official visits as Duchess of Cornwall but this will mark her first as Queen Consort.

The couple were last in Australia in April 2018 for the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. During that last trip, they toured Queensland and the Northern Territory.
This visit, which is being undertaken as the King continues his cancer treatment, will be kept to Sydney and Canberra but will still feature a full diary of engagements from Sunday October 20 until Tuesday October 22.
The couple's itinerary "will be subject to doctors' advice", and the King's itinerary may be modified should health grounds require it, Buckingham Palace advised when first announcing the tour in July.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will arrive in Australia on the evening of October 18 and will receive an official welcome.
While in Sydney, the couple will conduct a fleet review of the Royal Australian Navy in Sydney Harbour and attend a community barbecue in Western Sydney, which will showcase produce from across NSW.
The pair will also hold solo engagements, with the King learning about the ground-breaking melanoma research being led by Australians of the Year Professor Georgina Long AO and Professor Richard Scolyer AO.
His Majesty will also meet Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives and groups to learn about their work in supporting local community and strengthening culture.
Queen Camilla will continue her literacy focus and visit a library, meeting with children participating in a Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition workshop.
Their Majesties will break up their time in Sydney with a trip to Canberra on Monday, October 21, where they'll be welcomed to Parliament House by the prime minister.
The day will also include a visit to the Australian War Memorial and time at the Australian National Botanic Gardens for the couple.
They'll also attend a reception for political and community leaders, and Australians who have excelled in the fields of health, arts, culture and sport.
In solo engagements, the monarch will meet with CSIRO scientists to discuss their work on bushfire impacts in Australia, while Queen Camilla will take part in a forum on domestic violence - another passionate cause she also champions in the UK.
"His Majesty first visited Australia in 1966, and has a strong personal affection for our nation. We are delighted that His Majesty is recovering well and has made visiting Australia once again a priority," Albanese said.
"The royal visit is an opportunity to showcase the best of Australia – our rich culture, our sense of community, and contributions to science, research and global progress."
The couple were expected to also visit New Zealand while in the region but this ultimately needed to be skipped on doctor's orders.

"The King's doctors have advised that such an extended programme should be avoided at this time, to prioritise His Majesty's continued recovery," a palace spokesperson said earlier this year of the decision to miss New Zealand.
"In close consultation with the Australian and New Zealand prime ministers, and with due regard for the pressures of time and logistics, it has therefore been agreed to limit the visit to Samoa and Australia only," the spokesperson said.
"Their Majesties send their warmest thanks and good wishes to all parties for their continued support and understanding."
