Where do the tours begin?

All of our tours begin at the Savannah Welcome Center at 215 West Boundary Street.

Is this tour pet friendly?

We allow dogs up to 25lbs. and that will sit on your lap. Registered service dogs of all size and type are always welcomed.

What are the ages for children taking the tour?

Children age 4 and under are free. Children ages 5-11 are charged the child’s price. Any young person age 12 and over is considered an adult and will be charged the adult ticket price.

Where do I park? Is parking free?

We offer limited free parking on a first come, first served basis at our Visitors Depot (255 Montgomery Street), and at our Welcome Center (215/217 W. Boundary Street).

What are your hours of operation?

Our tours begin each day at 9:00am and the last tour leaves at either 4:30pm or 5:00pm depending on the season. We tour 7 days a week 362 days a year. We do not tour and are closed on St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Are your tours handicapped accessible?

We do have wheelchair/handicapped accessible vehicles in our fleet. A 48 hour notice is requested in order to accommodate this need.

The Comedian man picked my son (10 yrs old) and me up at our hotel. He was awesome and told us a lot about Savannah on our way to ... read more the main office. Then we started our tour with Robbin. Oh my gosh, my son and I absolutely adored her. She was full of awesome stories about Savannah's history as well as some hilarious jokes. We hated to leave her when we got off at the Pirate House. After we finished the tour, we were walking on Bay St back to our hotel. Robbin drove past, and recognized us from being with her tour 3 hrs earlier. She waved to us, which made my sons day!! She remembered us being on her tour. This is an amazing tour with fantastic guides. My son wanted to go hang out with Robbin when she got off work if that tells you anything. She is absolutely the best by far!!!!

Our tour pass was worth the price. It's actually a money saver. We took the tour of St Augustine and got our bearings. It also helped us select the attractions. The drivers were pleasant, very helpful, and steeped in St Augustine history. Simply wonderful!

I purchased the Savannah tour pass for 3 days, I did not use them consecutively, as I was on town for 8 days. I chose to do the Hop on Hop off Tour on my first day to give me an overview of Savannah, I rode the trolleys for a total of two loops, guide offered a different perspective on the city. I took a walking tour, Brad was awesome, 1.5 hrs of wonderful history. I rode the Paddle boat, was a bit disappointed the wheel doesn't function. I also visited Fort Pulaski on my last day in Savannah, it was a wonderful experience. Those were the 4 featured options I used. I also used multiple options from the normal options, my 2 favorites were the Square Pops and the Jepsen Art Center. I cannot express how awesome it was to be able to enter a venue, have it paid for, and just enjoy. I will purchase the Savannah Pass when I return next year, it was well worth it's value. Now I am hopeful the Charleston, SC Pass, that it is just as terrific, as I am visiting in the Fall.

This was awesome value for the money, we were in both places the first week in March with another couple and it made planning things to do much easier and the value was outstanding. We figure we saved about $100 per couple.

We purchased the two day St. Augustine TourPass and found the pass well worth the money, providing us with access to museums and tours we might have passed on had we had to pay full price to see without the pass. Highly recommend purchasing, especially if in the area for several days.

I got the tour pass for my family when we visited Charleston, SC in December. It was perfect since we weren't familiar with the city and this gave us ideas and suggestions of verified and validated things to do without having to do the research myself. We will definitely get the pass again.

We had two drivers for the day because we stopped in one spot and then got on another bus to continue the tour. While the trolley experience was very different by the driver, both were great! We got a balance of learning history and creative antics from both of the drivers we had. On the second leg of our trip, my twin toddlers started getting antsy and the trolley driver didn't miss a beat and didn't make me feel out of place even though I had two complaining babies in my lap. That certainly boosted the experience for me. We stopped at Forsyth park, took pictures in front of the gorgeous fountain and took the babies to the playground! All around win for the day.

First, Cynthanea Jackson makes this tour AMAZING! Anyone can spit out facts. She delivers story after story with glorious flare and genuine enthusiasm for the area she has lived her entire life! When other riders would ask about eating here or staying there, she was an encyclopedia of information! Get on HER Trolley and ride it the whole way, then, and only then, consider hopping off at a destination! Thanks for an amazing experience Cynthanea! My daughter and I LIVED touring your city! My biggest gripe is the lack of communication the website has. Online it says the tickets were $28 but then when you get to the place itself they Jack up the price $10. They also don't do military. So that's how this tour is starting off. I'm pretty annoyed and that's pretty shady service. BOOK ONLINE THE DAY BEFORE.

Hello, In reference to our online pricing versus our ticket booth pricing, when guests purchase their tickets online, they receive a discount since they have independently managed their purchase. As stated on our website it says "From $28". Our ticket pricing protocol follows the same already established protocols in the transportation industry. Pricing fluctuates based upon availability. Please be assured when purchasing, guests are quoted the correct current price.

Both narrators were clear and the audio equipment was good. This tour is worth it either to do the loop of 15 stops and listen, or to hop on and off visiting attractions. It is cheaper as a combo with the riverboat. This tour will make you want to rewatch " Midnight in the garden of good and evil", we are going to.

Can't say enough good thing about the old trolley tour in Savannah. I've taken several times through the years and each time I learn something new. The staff is professional, friendly and some quite funny. You can't go wrong booking this tour and it's reasonably priced.

Great way to see Savannah and hear the history. Trolley runs 9-5 and hits all the spots around town. Best part is you can get on and off at will and use it as your transportation for the day. Ticket price changes based on when you buy it. Best to buy it online or at your hotel. Drivers narrate and all the drivers we had were knowledgeable, and entertaining. Favorite one was Sam. She was great but sadly lost her after only a few stops since we initially got on near end of route. Trolleys say they go by every 15 min or so, but we found they were quicker than that most times.

This hop-on/hop-off tour is great for any visitor to Savannah, but it's particularly good for older folks or people who want to see the city without walking long distances. This tour is on the pricier side relative to other tours ($50ish) but I think there are a couple of things you get with this tour: - More flexibility by being able to start your tour at any stop (you can just "hop on" at a stop and then pay at one of the other stops that has a ticket kiosk - there are 3-4 different stops where you can buy a ticket) - Higher frequency of trolleys...maybe? I don't know for sure, but there were a lot of trolleys and the longest we had to wait was 5 minutes The whole loop takes roughly 90 minutes and is a good way to get around the city while also seeing the city. The tour guides were all really knowledgeable and friendly.

Just not enough trolleys running. Luckily we jumped on near the end which started another lap. We just stayed on for the whole tour because the stops along the way were way backed up. Probably a good 3 trolleys or a half hour plus. This was a Tuesday early, maybe they run more on the weekends, but we saw the same thing the next day - packed trolleys with a line at the stops. The tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and fun. The history of Savannah was well explained.

We bought our tickets for this a few weeks before our trip not realizing there was a free DOT bus that would cater to most of our needs. At first I thought we really wasted our money. Decided to use the tickets and picked it up at stop 9 at the City Market. Richard was our first driver and he was great! Funny and knowledgeable. We got off at the visitor center when we had to change trolleys and use the restroom. Tony was our next driver and equally as funny and knowledgeable. Took the trolley all the way back through stop 9 again and hopped off at the river stop for dinner and shopping. So happy we took the tour and learned about the historic district while also getting to rest our feet and use it as our transportation for the afternoon.

Old Town Trolley Savannah Tours Tickets at Visitor Center. I checked out the price on the internet and it stated prices starting at $28.00. While parking the car the tickets were purchased and I didn't see the receipt until after we got back to the hotel. The actual cost was $42.95 each. When I called the company it was stated that the price was correct. The prices went up to $45.00 each today (Oct. 2, 2023). As the demand goes up the prices go up!!!

We hope you had a great time and enjoyed the city. The pricing is not meant to be a surprise at the end of the purchase, and we encourage everyone to check their total on the checkout screen. The discount rates do sell out, and the price reflects the best available discount at the time of purchase. We hope you'll come back and visit again.
