Day 1 : Haridwar – Rishikesh Local Sightseeing  Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station / Jolly Grant Airport, Pick up , meet and assist with Driver. transfer to the hotel. Check-in at Hotel and proceed for Haridwar – Rishikesh local Sightseeing tour. visit Laxman Jhula, rishikesh temples and Haridwar Temples, Ashrams, Harki pauri ghat and evening aarti at haridwar. Night stay at Haridwar.

Day 2 : Haridwar to Ukhimath ( 203 Km ) After Breakfast, Check-out from Hotel, Proceed to Ukhimath.  Ukhimath is a pilgrimage site in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, India. During the winters, the idols from Kedarnath temple are brought to Ukhimath and worshiped there for six months. The wedding of Usha (Daughter of Vanasur) and Anirudh (Grandson of Lord Krishna) was solemnized here. By name of Usha this place was named as Ushamath, now known as Ukhimath. Night stay at Ukhimath.

Day 3 : Ukhimath – Chopta – Joshimath ( 200 Kms ) After Check-out, Proceed to Chopta (60 kms drive), Chopta is popularly known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ in India. Chopta, is an amazing natural beauty destination lying in the laps of Uttarakhand Himalayas offers scenic views of the imposing Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba. Proceed from Chopta to Joshimath (140 Kms drive). Night Stay at Joshimath.

Day 4 : Joshimath to Auli  ( 15 kms ) Proceed from Joshimath to Auki by Cable Car or Road drive. Auli is famous for its 3 KM long skiing slope. Auli is located at a distance of 16 KM from Joshimath by Road. There are roads connecting Joshimath to Auli but best way to travel to Auli is by cable car. Auli is located at a height of 2750 meter is famous for Ski, many national and international competitions on winter sports like Ski are organized during Jan to March months when Auli gets covered by more than 6 feet of snow.

Day 5 : Auli to Haridwar ( 286 Kms)

Chopta Auli Rishikesh Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh (230Kms / 6Hrs). Meet at Delhi Airport/ Railway station/ Hotel & transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to your hotel at arrival in Rishikesh. Visit Tirveni Ghat for holy dip and evening Ganga Aarti. Return to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Rishikesh.

Day 02: Rishikesh - Chopta (170 Kms / 7 - 8 Hrs). Morning after breakfast, drive for Chopta. In-route visit Devprayag and Ukhimath. Check in to the guest house at Arrival. Evening we will go for a short hike to stretch our leg muscles. Later enjoy bonfire. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.

Day 03: Chopta to Tungnath Chandrashila Trek and return (8 kms drive & 5 kms trek one way). Morning after breakfast, start your trek to Chnadrashila - Tungnath. Enjoy breathtaking views of himalayas. The climb is demanding but short and extremely scenic. It will take about a couple of hours to reach Tungnath temple. Religious or non-religious does not matter, just sit by yourself for a few minutes in the courtyard of the temple with eyes closed you will feel very light! After a brief stop for refreshments and rest carry on with your climb to reach the summit of Chandrashilla peak at about 4000m. The effort is going to be rewarded multiple times with views which are surely unparalleled. From the summit you can see big Himalayan peaks (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and many more) and surrounding valleys in all directions. After capturing the views in your camera start walking down to the base camp at Chopta Later return to Chopta. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.

Day 04: Chopta - Joshimath Via Chamoli (150 Kms / 5 - 6). Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive for Joshimath . Check inn into hotel at arrival in Joshimath. Evening free for your leisure and pleasure. Dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath.

Day 05: Joshimath - Auli by Cable Car. Mornings have breakfast at hotel and later check out then take cable car for Auli from Joshimath. Check inn into hotel on arrival at Auli. Explore Auli Lake and Enjoy Snow Skiing. Stay overnight at Auli.

Day 06: Auli. Morning after breakfast day free for your leisure and pleasure.

Day 07: Auli - Joshimath Rishikesh (270 kms/ 8-9 Hrs). Morning have breakfast at hotel and drive for Haridwar. Check inn into hotel on arrival at Haridwar. If time permits enjoy Ganges ceremony at Har Ki Pauri. Stay Overnight at Haridwar.

Located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. There are many temples-some ancient, some new along the river Ganges. Rishikesh is important not only as pilgrimage centre closely associated with the Ramayana, but also as home for many important centers of Hindu religious thought and spirituality, and as a very great Yoga Centre. There are a great many ashrams and Yoga institutes here. Rishikesh is also the gateway and the start-off point for journeys to important religious places like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri

Auli is a snow covered hill station located at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level, providing a very beautiful view of Mt Nanda Devi, Kamet, Mana Parwat, Dunagiri, Nilkanth, Hathi Parbat and Nar Parbat, is an ideal place for Skiing, covered with evergreen conifers and oak forest. The snow dressed slopes of Auli is rated as the best skiing grounds of the world. In summer season, hikers may find numerous marked walks and there also are mountain bike trails. Gorson Reserve forest which is part of the Nanda Devi National Park is habituated by some of the widely rare Himalayan wildlife in ample. These include snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Wild Boar, Wild Cat, Wild Rabbit, Jackal, Fox, Hyena and Bear. Various lovely scenarios are also available around for one to enjoy along with family and friends

The Tungnath temple is located at an altitude of about 3680 meters above sea level, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the highest Shiva Shrine among the Panch Kedar, 4 km s uphill from Chopta. The temple is believed to be 1000 years old and is the second in the order of the Panch Kedars. It has a rich legend linked to the Pandavas, heroes of the Mahabharata epic. And it is also believed that the present temple is built by the Pandavas to please the Lord Shiva.

Chandrashila

Situated at altitude of over 4090 meters above sea level, Chandrashila offers a panoramic 360 degree view of the some of the very majestic Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Bandarpunch, Chaukhamba and Kedar Peak. Chandrashila is a steep 1 km trek from Tungnath temple. Chandrashila and Tungnath are covered with snow during the winters. According to one of the popular legend, Chandrashila is the place where Lord Rama meditated after defeating Ravana. Another legend says that moon-god “Chandra” spent time here in penance. Chandrashila literally means “Moon Rock”.

Day 03: Joshimath to Chopta ( 140 km approx 7 hours) After the morning breakfast drive to Chopta, Arrive in Chopta check-in guest house, evening visit to sunset point Dinner, and Over Night Stay.

Day 04: Chopta to Tungnath 4kms Trek – Chandrashila Summit 2kms Trek Beginning the day with a beautiful sunrise experience from Tunganath top, from there get a splendid view of Chandrashila up ahead. Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, and Kedar. Thalaysagar and Gangotri ranges too could be seen at the edges. Back to Chopta and Dinner and Night Stay.

Day 05: Chopta to Rishikesh (15kms 6 hours) After breakfast drive from Chopta to Rishikesh, en route visit Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. Arrive in Rishikesh and visit Ram Jhoola and Laksh, GITA MANDIR, SWARG ASHRAM & drop at Haridwar.

Day 04: Joshimath – Auli
