Babasónicos trae a León su 'Fuego Amigo Tour' y ofrece una gran noche de rock

León, Guanajuato.- Babasónicos volvió a León después de más de un año de su última visita al mismo foro que los acogió con mucho fuego y amor como parte de su “Fuego Amigo Tour”.

A las 9 de la noche arrancó la banda “El Kuelgue” estrenándose por primera vez en León.

Cantaron canciones como “Circunvalación”, “Sinoca”, “Peluquita”, “Natación”, entre otras.

¡Muchas gracias por el recibimiento, los dejamos con Babasónicos”.

A las 10 de la noche, y pese a la amenaza de lluvia, salieron: Diego ‘Panza’ en la batería, Mariano en la guitarra, 'Tuta' en el bajo, Diego “Tuñón” en los teclados, Diego Uma en la guitarra y Adrián Dargelos en la voz.

La primera fue “Mimos son mimos” , “¿Y qué?”, después Diego 'Uma' dejó la guitarra para tomar el micrófono y tocar "Microdancing".

El hermano de Dargelos se lució con el 'moonwalker' y movimientos cadenciosos.

Babasónicos are a rock band hailing from Buenos Aires, Lanús, Argentina who were formed in 1991. They are one of the most successful Argentine rock bands to ever form and have released 11 studio albums since their debut in 1992.

You can never fault a band with ambition, and Babasónicos have far higher goals than most bands could dream of. What’s more is that they’ve achieved them, and the six-piece have gone on to become one of the most influential South American rock acts of the past three decades.. The band began with lead singer Adrián "Dárgelos" Rodríguez and keyboardist Diego "Uma-T" Tuñón, who collaborated with the intention of creating a whole new strain of Argentine rock music. Adrian and Diego recruited Dargelos’ brother Diego to play guitar, a drummer in the form of Diego "Panza" Castellano, Mariano "Roger" Domínguez joined as rhythm guitarist and Gabriel "Gabo" Manelli held everything together on the bass.

The band were a sensation right off the bat. They set themselves apart from the then practically inescapable Argentinian new wave scene from the very beginning, and touted their experimentally minded pop-rock as their own genre of “Sonic Rock”. Their debut album “Pasto” did very respectable business after its release in 1992, giving them a minor radio hit in the form of "D-Generación". After touring the record they began the campaign for their second album opening for INXS at the Vélez Sarsfield stadium, their biggest concert to date at the time which opened up a whole new audience to them. Their second effort “Trance Zomba” was massively acclaimed and broke the band through to the big leagues as a result.

Since then the band have remained one of the most respected acts in Argentine rock, collaborating with Stone Roses legend Ian Bron on one of his solo records and opening for the mighty U2 on their PopMart stadium tour before the1990’s were out. The 2000’s treated them even better, with 2001’s “Jessico” record breaking them through to become one of their home country’s most beloved bands, but tragedy would soon strike. Manelli passed away in 2008 due to Hodgkin’s Disease, but he was replaced by the band’s longtime backing musician Carlos Hernán Clunkers and the bands live shows were rejuvenated by the spirit of their lost friend.

With a back catalogue that most bands would kill for, a devoted fanbase and some of the most adept live shows around, Babasónicos come highly recommended.

Argentine psychedelic rock band, Babasonicos is the main event tonight, with punters in this huge venue from all over the world, here and ready to experience this huge “sonic” underground rock movement that they made such a name for themselves with. Their name is at is brightest amongst the Latin American crowd, which is quite a crowd to be acquainted with indeed. Tonight they have a discography of eleven studio albums to choose from, focusing a little more on their later material, they launch into the upbeat “Ideas”, which inspires the most amazing Argentine styles of dancing I have ever seen in an audience. We need to do this more in the indie rock scene for sure! “Barranca abajo” sets the party off with everyone jumping up and down, drink are flying everywhere.

When they play their song “Zumba” it literally feel as thought everyone took it so literally, with the synchronized dancing happening this evening, it just makes you want to join in making those who don’t join in the absolute minority.

El título del álbum “Trinchera”  propone un refugio del mundo actual, un paraíso etéreo donde la banda argentina despliega todo su arte en un manifiesto de once canciones que combinan deseo, mitología, conciencia, existencialismo y banalidad. La obsesión por el sonido perfecto, los arreglos exquisitos, los estribillos que contagian, el deseo de trascender a través de la obra están presentes en este nuevo trabajo de Babasónicos, que es sin dudas uno de los más transversales y esperados del rock en español para este año. El material ya se encuentra disponible en tiendas digitales y próximamente tendrá edición en formatos CD y Vinilo. Canciones como “La izquierda de la noche” , “Bye Bye” , “Anubis” y el actual corte de difusión “Mimos son Mimos” dan cuenta de la vigencia de la banda, posicionándose como destacados en las playlists más relevantes de la región, teniendo  fuerte presencia en las estaciones de radio y televisión de todo el continente y llegando a ser  número 1 en el ranking de difusión de Argentina. Trinchera se gestó entre 2020 y 2021 en los estudios Juno de Buenos Aires. La producción artística es de Gustavo Iglesias y Babasónicos. Grabado y mezclado por Gustavo Iglesias. El mastering corrió por cuenta de Greg Calbi y Steve Fallone en Sterling Sound, New York. Músicos invitados: Carca y Gustavo “Tuta” Torres. El arte de portada fue diseñado por Alejandro Ros. Este el primer trabajo de estudio de Babasónicos en cuatro años, tras la publicación de Discutible en 2018.

Babasónicos vuelve a México en el mes de noviembre de 2023 con su Fuego Amigo Tour y ya hay fechas confirmadas, te contamos todos los detalles.

Luego de una exitosa gira por México en mayo de 2023, la banda se perfila para su regreso al segundo país en donde más éxito han tenido; México.

Adiós Tour “Bye Bye”

El lanzamiento de “Trinchera” (o también llamado “Trinchera Avanzada” con la diferencia de que tiene dos canciones adicionales “Carnal Kombat” y “Cicatriz #23”), su más reciente álbum de estudio lanzado en 2022, trajo consigo una cantidad de especátuclos alrededor del mundo que resulta difícil de creer para una banda que tiene más de treinta años en escena.

El Tour “Bye Bye” conformó principalmente una extensa gira por Argentina, así como una serie de presentaciones en el mes de mayo por México, Estados Unidos, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay y por supuesto, Europa. El título de su gira, de por sí, hinundó un sinnúmero de especulaciones entre las cuales se pensó que sería la última gira de la banda.

Babasónicos vuelve a México de 2023 con sorpresas

Lo cierto es que, el tour por sí mismo, le dio la bienvenida (paradódijcamente) a una nueva etapa tanto en la forma de presentar shows (el tour implementó una nueva puesta en escena que hasta incluye fuego en vivo) como en lo musical. El tour finalizó oficialmente en el Palacio De Los Deportes (11 de febrero de 2023) en Ciudad de México para abrir paso al nuevo “Fuego Amigo Tour”.

Transición desde la Trinchera al Fuego Amigo Tour.

“En la jerga militar se denomina fuego amigo o fuego aliado a los disparos provenientes del propio bando.”​

La banda no se cansó de repetir lo que el propio nombre del álbum significa en la modernidad, sin embargo, fue muy creativo pasar de la Trinchera al Fuego Amigo, considerando que todos estamos dentro del campo de batalla y tenemos que defendernos, ¿no?.

El  Fuego Amigo Tour,  inició técnicamente desde su presentación en la Fiesta de la Confluencia el 17 de febrero del presente año, que ha conformado en su mayoría presentaciones en Argentina y en Uruguay .

A pesar de que la banda ha mutado su lista de temas desde mayo de 2022 a la fecha, incluyendo en su mayoría los nuevos temas de Trinchera, no fue sino hasta apenas el mes de mayo cuando vimos regresar un hit de los noventas (no lo mencionamos evitar el spoiler, pero puedes ir a buscarlo a nuestras redes sociales) y la inclusión de otro tema de “Mucho” que hace mucho tiempo no tocaban en vivo y que, sin duda, los hermanos Rodríguez disfrutan mucho de cantar juntos.

¿Qué países visitará el Fuego Amigo Tour?

Los países confirmados hasta ahora son Argentina, Uruguay y México , aunque se planean incluir otros países y otro continente, el cual aún no está confirmado pero que sabemos de que es imprescindible en esta gira.

¿Cuándo vuelve Babasónicos a México con su Fuego Amigo Tour?

Las fechas se irán develando poco a poco, sin embargo la primera fecha confirmada es en el Festival Tecate Comuna en Puebla en el mes de noviembre.

Con el tiempo, es seguro que la banda planeará hacer un show más grande para ellos solos en México, podríamos pensar desde otro Palacio De Los Deportes, un Auditorio Nacional o incluso (¿por qué no pensarlo?) un show en el Foro Sol de la Ciudad de México.

La banda estará presentándose en el Movistar Arena nuevamente el 2 de junio (aunque ya no hay entradas, fue sold out casi inmediato) en Buenos Aires, pero harán el show más grande de su carrera en el Campo Polo de Argentina a finales del año, el 16 de diciembre y en donde aún puedes comprar tus entradas (antes de que se agoten).

Por lo pronto, si no puedes esperar más por su regreso de la banda a México, te sugerimos escuchar “Trinchera Avanzada” y ver el show “Trinchera” en Star+ .

I cant recommend this tour highly enough. I asked a friend to recommend one thing to do with limited time in Moscow and he said, check out the metro. I did one better, and went on this individual tour yesterday with my very well informed guide, Alina. She took me to a number of stations and explained the history, politics and meanings behind the different sculpures and artworks in a way that made the whole experience far more meaningful than getting on and off the metro without guidance would have done. I had a really fantastic time and was thoroughly impressed. To top it all off, we had lunch and Alina suggested some great things for me to do, even whatsapping me maps, suggestions, and internet links. Today she followed up by messaging me to ask how my day was going and if I had any questions about the city, or recommendations for places to eat, etc. A great tour, a lovely guide and a fantastic experience. I couldnt recommend this tour, or Alina, any more highly. Fantastic!

My son and myself visited Moscow for a holiday in April 2018. And we had selected this fantastic tour. Our Guide Mrs. Julia came sharp at 10.00 AM even though she was not feeling well and had sore throat. Thereafter she took us to many Metro stations. Though I had already visited Moscow last year and seen all these stations, she gave phenomenal historic background and many interesting facts. She was almost fluent in English and and a good knowledge of Russian Culture, food and many other things. Overall we enjoyed thoroughly and I will highly recommend this tour with Julia if possible. Truly amazing person. And even more amazing tour.

Our Tour booked for 26 December 2017 was absolutely amazing. Our guide Julia picked us up from our Hotel in St Peterburg on time in a luxury minivan. Thanks to Julia we were able to see most of the tourist attractions that day. She went out of her way for us to make our day special. She had a vast knowledge of all the places that we visited. Lunch was special in a typical Russian restaurant with food from the region. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Picked up in the hotel lobby by our guide, Lylie, who then walked us to the closest Metro. She walked/trained us to 13 different stations and then explained the history of the metro and the significance of the decor in each station. We had plenty of time to photo, view the decor, watch and ride the trains and observe the people coming and going with their daily affairs. The art work/mosaics/sculptures/stained glass/ marble all had a role to play in presenting the history of communist Russia. The Russian metro well deserves the title of the most interesting and outstanding metro in the world. Lylie then took us to lunch, advised us on menu choices and their significance in the Russian culture and was very happy answering our questions on how the younger generation is responding to the new Russia. We had an outstanding guide, a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour over and above other tours which merely include a visit to a small number of stations. Our guide ,Dacha, was charming and very informative. We took the 2 hour tour and saw what Dacha thought were the most beautiful and interesting metro stations. The Metro is certainly worthy of its museum status and we were glad to have some of the designs and features explained to us.
