I've ridden my Emonda a number of times on my favorite rides so far. The control, the shifting, how smooth it is, all of it is amazing. The only slight drawback is you feel every bump on the road.

I purchased the SL6 AXS, nearly 2 years now. It's a lightweight, smooth riding carbon frame and carbon wheels, with smooth electronic shifting, power and cadence meter, and nice metal-flake paint. it has a wide gear range (48t/35t front, to 10-36 cassette) making it a great hill climber. Given the set of features, it's a great value. It's really hard to beat in terms of price v. features. Okay, so on the downside ... first, the tires that came with it blew out in a couple of months. The original tires are designed to be lightweight and high-speed, not durability. I replaced the tires with more durable tires, which have performed well since. Second, with the narrow 10 gear rear cassette, it eats through a chain in a year and a half (started slipping during shifting before replacing the chain). Those are really the only 2 issues I've experienced. There is one annoyance on the requirement to calibrate the power meter, more on this below. There are 5 batteries on this bike, 2 rechargable each front and rear derailer, 2 in the shifters (coin batteries), and one more AA in the crank for the power meter and cadence meter. I've not changed the shifter handle batteries yet, but I've changed the AA once, and recharged the derailer batteries many times. It would be better if they could all be recharged from one power connector. The SRAM power meter needs to be calibrated each day by using the SRAM phone app connecting to the , pressing a button. This is required before every ride. This is a bit annoying, but whatever. Perhaps the newest model SRAM shifters don't need that calibration, most do not according to SRAM. I was told by SRAM support via email exchange that the standard SRAM Rival spindle-based power meters do required daily calibration.

I updated my Emonda sl5 for this sl6 etap I replaced the rival 10/36 cassette with a 10/28 forced and the wheels to Bontrager Aeolus pro5 gave me friction problems in the front derailleur without success

First you dont need to upgrade,this bike is perfect set , the frame design is amazing geometry,stifnes,comfort and paint , the etap works perfect ,wheels and tires are absolute set for this bike , and saddle is comfort enough. if you looking for bike can do anything from flat uphiil downhill this is the one,for 60+ guy like me who still looking for speed with comfort emonda sl6 etap is the answer. Finally if you are looking for comfort bike with speed this is the one.

I just got this bike today, built at the Highland Park Trek store, and biked it the 30 miles back home as my test. Shifting was smooth and consistent with the electronic shifting, the pedals felt sure, braking was instant, and the bike was just solid and stiff without feeling huge. I easily reached over 20mph and maintained it with little difficulty. As for the look: the metallic red and black color scheme is perfect, giving the bike a great color profile without blinding or standing out too much. The aero aspects of the design are attractive and sleek, making the bike an attention-getter for now (I had four different people say hello or nod to me and the bike on my ride). The only con might be that the stem rotates a little too easily. Be prepared when you first take on this bike and don't lose control.

Been riding for longer than I care to admit. Prior bike: 2013 Trek Emonda SL. Love that bike. Just got the 2022 Emonda SL 6 etap. Even better than the SL. Shifting and handling are fantastic. A dream bike for someone like me that loves to ride, climb and shifts a lot. I have to mention the paint job, too. I have the red/black. It is absolutely gorgeous with incredible detail. Not parting with the SL though, because I like it too much.

Hola! mi nombre es Daniel Camargo de Estación Bici y revisé esta bicicleta al detalle 🙂 Bicicleta muy buen cuidada, tiene protectores de marco puestos. Los únicos detalles son pequeñas raspaduras en las palancas de freno y biela del plato. El kit de arrastre en muy buen estado con una buena vida útil, tiene cadenilla nueva (0 kms) También se hizo cambio de pastillas traseras, está lista para el lote. Te la entregamos con mantenimiento.
