About Thomas Rhett
Ten years after signing his record deal with Big Machine Label Group’s The Valory Music Co., arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett — dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music” (Variety) — has 19 multi-PLATINUM and GOLD-certified No. 1 hits, 12 BILLION streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive No. 1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). Declared “a prince in the genre” (USA Today) , he has been honored with eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards, Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. One songs within a 12-month period. The superstar’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album WHERE WE STARTED is available now, with single “Half of Me,” featuring Riley Green, currently Top 5 at Country radio. Thomas Rhett has also just released his first-ever Christmas collection MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL, featuring his rich vocal and sincere delivery, with a country flair on four favorite festive tracks. Inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors, Thomas Rhett is also the cofounder of Dos Primos Tequila and has collaborated with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line. He recently extended his BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR into 2023 with dates scheduled for the top of next year in Canada. For more information, visit www.ThomasRhett.com .
About Cole Swindell
Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell released his fifth studio album, Stereotype , to massive success. The project has already charted three back-to-back multi-week No. 1 hits: the Gold-certified “Single Saturday Night,” the Platinum-certified “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson) and, most recently, the Platinum-certified, five-week chart-topper “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” In the seven years since his debut on Warner Music Nashville, Swindell has racked up an impressive 12 No. 1 singles as an artist – 13 as a songwriter – 11 certified Platinum singles (four singles at 2x Platinum), a Platinum-certified debut album ( Cole Swindell ) and a Gold-certified sophomore album ( You Should Be Here ). The Georgia hitmaker has over 5.2 BILLION global career streams. His massive, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Break Up In The End” was named the 2019 NSAI Song of the Year . Swindell is nominated for two CMA Awards for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson. He officially became a headliner on his own in 2018 with his Reason To Drink Tours, and is currently out on the road with Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe for his Back Down To The Bar Tour .
About Nate Smith
With a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith first chased his neon dreams to Nashville in his early 20s – but it didn’t stick. The disheartened Smith returned home and thought he was “100-percent done” with his artistic journey…until a crucible of change burned away the past. In 2018, Smith lost everything he owned in the devastating Camp Fire which tore through Paradise, California. Although his family was safe, he struggled to cope and turned back to music, hoping that it would help comfort himself and others. Help it did, inspiring a month-long road trip across the U.S. to Music City, writing music and playing dive bars along the way. Soon after his arrival to Nashville, Nate released his biggest song to date, “Wildfire,” and landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. Since then, he’s released new music including “Sleeve” and “Under My Skin,” which has amassed over 70 million on-demand streams to date. The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, “Whiskey On You,” which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

Thomas Rhett Announces Home Team Tour 23 Dates
Thomas Rhett has announced his tour plans for 2023. The country hitmaker will bring the Home Team Tour to 27 states from May through September. In total, he just put 40 new tour dates on his calendar.
Cole Swindell and " Whiskey on You " singer Nate Smith will open the Home Team 23 Tour. It kicks off on Des Moines, Iowa, on May 4 and criss-crosses the country before wrapping in Nashville on Sept. 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 11 at 10AM local time.
See a full list of Rhett's tour dates below.
In a video shared with fans, Rhett attempts to wear sports jerseys from all 40 cities he'll be visiting as he makes the announcement and answers questions during a mock press conference. Swindell and Smith make brief cameos, but video magic makes Rhett the exponential star of the show. He even wears a University of Tennessee jersey, which surely had to sting, as Rhett is a big University of Georgia fan.
The tour's name comes from Rhett's name for his fan community. In fact, it's at least the second Home Team Tour he's embarked on. In 2017 he brought Kelsea Ballerini and more along for a Home Team Tour that focused on the midwest and southeast.

Thomas Rhett, (born March 30th, 1990) is a country and western singer songwriter from Valdosta, Georgia. He is the song of Rhett Atkins and has five singles that charts from his debut album “It Goes Like This”.
It all started when Thomas Rhett Atkins Jr. was old enough to go on stage with his father, Rhett Atkins, and play the drums for him. The band was put together in high school called The High Heeled Flip Flops. After high school, Rhett went to college at Lipscomb University in Nashville Tennessee and played as a member of Tau Phi for their cowboy show. It was from this experience that he grew used to big crowds and commanding the audience.
Rhett co-wrote the song “I Ain’t Ready to Quit” on Jason Aldeans’ 2010 album, “My Kinda Party” and then signed a contract with Big Machine Records, Valory Music Group division in 2011. He released his debut single “Something to Do with My Hands” which was released on February 21st 2012, with a music video too. The song reached number 15 on the US Hot Country Songs. His follow up single “Beer With Jesus” was released on September 4th 2012, and reached number 1 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. It wasn’t until his song “It Goes Like This” released on May 6th 2013, that Rhett got the success that he deserved, with the song going Platinum, and making it to number 1 on the US Country Airplay chart, it also became the title track of his debut album, which was released on October 29th 2013. The albums’ fourth single “Get Me Some of That” became Rhett’s second number 1 single.
Rhett has also co written the 2013 singles “1994” by Jason Aldean, “Parking Lot Party” by Lee Brice and “Round Here” by Florida Georgia Line.
Live reviews
What can be more American than listening to country music on the 4th of July? Nothing.
Thomas Rhett can turn anyone into a country fan by simply attending one of his concerts. At only 24 he has succeeded in having two hit songs, but while he's on stage you can see that he's just average guy enjoying the moment and having a good time. He utlizes the whole stage, and invites a few lucky souls to join him at certain points. He also loves to shake those hips of his, so be prepared to dance when you go to one of his concerts.
His songs are extemely catchy and easy to sing along with, so be prepared...the whole audience will be singing with him. Just when you think it couldn't get louder he will start singing some classic oldies that will make the venue erupt.
He makes the whole audience feel like they're at a neighborhood block party with a bunch of good friends, which is why his songs like "Front Porch Junkies" and "Sorry For Partying" are so entertaining to hear.
If you hate dancing, happiness, and being surrounded by friendly people who are enjoying life...Thomas Rhett is not for you. If you're the opposite then buy your tickets now. You won't regret it. You can tell a good artist when you leave the concert thinking that he or she was better in person than on his cd. He's album is great, but it's worth every penny plus some to see him in person. Thomas Rhett is a country singer that appeals to everyone because of fun, upbeat energy. Buy your tickets now, and see for yourself.

It could be said that country music is in Thomas Rhett's DNA, having been born to the established singer/songwriter Rhett Akins. The fresh faced youngster has very much made his own impact on the industry with his own slant on the genre and expert live show. Having always been interested in music, it is fair to say that Rhett has ability with his instrument that is far beyond his years.
Despite having only released one studio album, it scored well commercially so the fanbase is ready and waiting to see Thomas bring 'It Goes Like This' to life. There is great skill in the way he develops early songs to give a more involving live experience to the delighted masses. 'Make Me Wanna' has the whole audience singing along despite having only released it a few months ago, it has fast become a favourite. The singer thanks the crowd for their enthusiastic involvement and expresses his slight bemusement at his new found fame. Rounding the evening off with 'Something To Do With My Hands', the crowd stand as one to celebrate this new singer and assure him they will continue to support his career.
The Pit section was definitely the place to be! I have no clue how I got so lucky last night! Out of all the beautiful ladies around me.. He picked me to sang too! And came back two more times just to wink and touch my hand! Then his guitars came on and sat down next to me too! Definitely one of the best nights I ever have. Never thought this would ever happen to me! Crazy! Still in ahh! Sure made me feel like a million bucks! Thanks for creating a memory of a life time, Thomas Rhett! Love ur music! Glad you're so caring to ur fans and have a wonderful wife by your side for support!! Wish you a lifetime of amazing music! Can't wait to next time!!

I went to the Thomas Rhett concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday November 29th 2017. Old Dominion and Walker Hayes were special guests to the show, they opened for him and were amazing. Old Dominion really got the crowd going! Thomas even said that he has never heard a crowd that loud! Thomas Rhett played an awesome show that will be UNFORGETTABLE, it was the best concert I have ever been to. Everyone knew all the songs and he was engaged with the crowd. He even took time to sign posters for the some of the fans. His band is awesome too!! I went with my mom and we had seats in row 9!! It was awesome!! By far the best concert yet!!
Thomas Rhett's show was amazing. From the opening song, "Crash and Burn," which set the tone of fantastic FX and heart twisting vocalizations, to his singing "Marry Me" on stage B to the impromptu Rhett Atkins songs he sang and his powerful closing with "T-shirt," the concert was one of the most memorable I will ever attend. My friend and I drove from Atlanta to be able to see him. The venue was fantastic and even solved our issue with visibility due to a faulty strobe light in section 207 of the Colonial Life Arena. The band was on fire and Thomas Rhett knows how to entertain a crowd and put on a show. I can't wait for the next one!!
So excited before the show. Love Thomas Rhett's music. The venue was a good size, even if the management were clueless about certain things (O2 priorities). Rhett Atkins (Thomas Rhett's dad) was supporting him and he was fantastic and could easily do a show on his own. Thomas was everything we had hoped for and more. The music was amazing, the lighting, backing musicians, fans. it was a great night and will definitely recommend his gigs to anyone and everyone. Counting down till he comes back to the UK again (hopefully in the very near future)
Saw Thomas Rhett at Jiffy Lube Live. Really liked his set up on stage. He interacted with the audience. Even signed some things for people while performing. He sang all the songs we want to hear. Make Me Wanna, It Goes Like This,Get Me Some if That, even his new one Crash and Burn.
He was wearing a suit and it was warm. I liked when he took off the suit jacket and had a summer print shirt underneath. I liked the casual look. He is definitely worth seeing.
Thomas Rhett is a true entertainer He is very engaging with his fans Usually has multiple special guest and his dad, Rhett Akins, is always a extra addition to the show
Thomas is a must see. He brings class and makes country fans proud.
Worth every penny. Thomas puts on an energetic show that you will thoroughly enjoy and he will leave you wanting more
Listen to his music and then go see him live you will be a true TR fan forever.
The kickoff party at AT&T Stadium last night for your new Tangled Up CD was absolutely awesome! Twister was a blast and your new music will go straight to the top of the charts I'm sure! You are blessed with true talent as a songwriter and singer and always entertain your fans to the fullest! Thanks for choosing Dallas to kick off Tangled up and best wishes for your continued success.
As we say in the south...Ya'll come back now, ya hear!!!
The show was great! Both opening acts were really good, especially Old Dominion. But the Thomas Rhett part of the show was the best! At one point Thomas Rhett came from the stage to a small platform back in the crowd. We happened to be right next to it and when he came there to sing a few songs, it was really cool. He sang all of his songs! It was a wonderful concert!

Thomas Rhett talks Home Town Team Tour 23 kickoff in Des Moines
Country star Thomas Rhett is kicking off his Home Team Tour 23 in Des Moines on Thursday.
The multi-platinum "Look What God Gave Her" hitmaker gave the metro area a spot on his massive U.S. tour's starting lineup due to the special place it holds in his heart. Rhett first came to Des Moines in 2013 as an opener for Jason Aldean and said he has enjoyed his frequent visits to the city.
"We loved the Midwest so much and we wanted to kick it off somewhere we knew," Rhett said.
His August 2018 performance to a sold-out Iowa State Fair Grandstand crowd of 15,775 audience members was the then-largest crowd the fair had seen in nearly 25 years. He returned in 2019 with his Very Hot Summer Tour at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Instagram-famous Tennessee native first rose to fame with a debut album "It Goes Like This" and then broke out later with mainstream success in Nashville by charting more than a baker's dozen of No. 1 singles. The "Marry Me" singer said fans will enjoy the tour setlist, which features little-known gems and his biggest hits alike.
“If you have been a fan of mine since 2012, you’re going to be in the crowd being like, ‘Oh my gosh. I can’t believe he just played that,'” Rhett said.
Close friend Cole Swindell and Nashville newcomer Nate Smith are set to join Rhett out on the road as opening acts. Rhett said Smith, the breakout star behind fan favorites "Whiskey on You" and "Wildfire," is one of his favorite new voices in Nashville "by far." But it's Swindell, a buddy and frequent collaborator, who made Rhett sentimental.
“The fact that we are still getting to tour together is a huge deal with me,” Rhett added of his tourmate.
Rhett, the son of singer-songwriter Rhett Akins, is a second-generation star in the genre. The family man and father of four daughters with his wife, Lauren, won't be joined by his family in the metro as his three oldest children finish up school in Nashville before heading out midsummer for dates across the country.
“As we have had a million kids ... three of them are in school now so I think we’re kind of waiting until the summertime until we bring them out on the road,” he said.
Rhett and his wife first fell in love in high school have known each other since elementary school. The couple have gained a dedicated following on social media platforms who leave double-tapped hearts on photos documenting their love story.

A decade after his first time performing at Wells Fargo Arena with a handful of hits, Rhett will do it again. On Thursday he returns as a headliner for the second time, standing before folks who’ve been there since the start.
“This tour is for people — obviously anybody is able to come — but we kind of dedicated this tour to the people who’ve been rocking with us for a decade,” he added.

Known for his "bombastic, good time energy” (Esquire), after kicking off 2023 in Canada, the summer tour will begin May 4 in Des Moines, IA at Wells Fargo Arena with Cole Swindell and Nate Smith, and end at Thomas Rhett’s hometown Nashville, TN, at Bridgestone Arena on September 23, 2023.
The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, "Whiskey On You," which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

After a blistering trio of performances at the UK and Ireland's C2C Festival, Thomas Rhett has returned to his trusty tour-bus as he embarks on his US Home Team run of shows, which kicked off in early May.
With shows lined up in Illinois, Missouri, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and more, Rhett will be dusting off his formidable arsenal of hits and unleashing them on crowds across the US.
Here you can find Thomas Rhett's updated setlist as he embarks on his 2023 concert tour.
Judging from his recent setlists, he'll be performing a refreshing mix of both old and new fan-favourite tracks from across his sprawling discography, including ‘Life Changes’, ‘Die a Happy Man‘, ‘Look What God Gave Her’ and ‘Slow Down Summer’.
A number of the Georgia native's star-studded collaborations have made their way into his 2023 shows, including the Riley Green-assisted ‘Half Of Me’ and the Jon Pardi-featuring ‘Beer Can't Fix’, both of which pay tribute to the unique healing power of a cold one.
The ‘Marry Me’ hitmaker has also been weaving in a couple of unreleased tracks, such as the uptempo ‘Feeling Country’ , throughout his 2023 performances. Fans will be hoping they'll be getting to hear more snippets from the Thomas Rhett vault this summer.
With Rhett being known for his high-energy sets, one of the many highlights from his performances is inevitably his cover of ‘She Had Me at Heads Carolina’. Although cut by Cole Swindell, the loved-up anthem was co-written by Rhett, and his live renditions of the retro track are always greeted with a chorus of cheers.
Given the fact that Swindell is opening for Rhett this year, we wouldn't be surprised if the two join forces to perform ‘She Had Me at Heads Carolina’ throughout the tour.
Of course, in addition to the floor-fillers, Thomas Rhett also makes room for a few of his much-loved ballads, including ‘Country Again’ and his most recent single, ‘Angels (Don't Always Have Wings)’.

He definitely didn’t “Crash and Burn.”
Thomas Rhett brought his electric Home Team Tour to UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, for a sold-out concert Saturday night.
After opening acts Nate Smith and Cole Swindell warmed up the crowd, Rhett rose onstage at 9:30 p.m. behind a drum kit, on which he played a killer solo in a custom “Belmont Park” bomber jacket before launching into his 2016 summer anthem “Vacation.”
Fans were enamored with the Grammy-nominated country singer, 33, from the jump, and it didn’t take long for him to notice.
“Y’all make me smile. You bring me so much joy,” he said, noting that it was the loudest audience of his 10-year career thus far.
For the next 80 minutes, Rhett ran through a dozen and a half of his biggest hits including 2020’s “Beer Can’t Fix,” 2017’s “Unforgettable” and 2016’s “T-Shirt,” all of which sounded as crisp as the album versions thanks to the new venue’s state-of-the-art sound system.
And yet, concertgoers still managed to drown out the man of the hour at times while belting the lyrics to his beloved ballads “Marry Me” and “Die a Happy Man.”

The show was full of personal touches, most notably a montage of home videos featuring Rhett, his wife, Lauren Akins, and their four daughters that played before his performance of “Life Changes,” his 2018 single about growing up and starting a family.
It was clear the Dos Primos Tequila founder was having the time of his life as he bounced from one end of the stage to the other throughout his set.
The most fun — and unexpected — portion of the pyro-packed concert came when Rhett schooled Long Island on seven decades of music by singing a medley of Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog” (1950s), James Brown’s “I Got You (I Feel Good)” (1960s), The Rolling Stones’ “Beast of Burden” (1970s), Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl” (1980s), Matchbox Twenty’s “3AM” (1990s), Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle” (2000s) and Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” (2010s).
Surprisingly, Rhett didn’t cover Bruno Mars, whom he has long cited as one of his biggest musical influences, but he had fans on their feet all night long even without a little “24K Magic.” Until Mars hits the road again, the rousing Home Team Tour just may be the next best thing.

A comedian, a folk-rock band and a hip-hop group announce dates at the Iowa State Fair
Two more acts get ready to take the Grandstand stage at the Iowa State Fair this summer.
Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias heads to the Grandstand on Thursday, Aug. 15, followed by festival folk-rock band The Avett Brothers with ’90s alternative hip-hop band G.Love & Special Sauce on Friday, Aug. 16.
A fair official noted that this year’s “lineup is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and genre-rich lineups. From standup comedy to roots-rock, classic rock, hip-hop, and country, the lineup has something that resonates with everyone.”
Iglesias, who last performed in Des Moines in 2019, is known for his stand-up comedy that touches on cross-cultural topics. He often dons Hawaiian shirts that match his larger-than-life personality. Iglesias tends to include different voices for his characters as well as sound effects as he tells his stories.
Tickets for his 8 p.m. show range from $30 to $65.
The Avett Brothers played Wells Fargo Arena last September. The three-time Grammy Award nominees bring their biggest songs including “Ain't No Man,” “Murder in the City,” “If It’s The Beaches” and “Head Full Of Doubt/Road Full of Promise.”
Brothers Scott Avett and Seth Avett, along with Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon made their major label debut in 2009 with “I And Love And You,” which landed at No. 16 on the Billboard Top 200. Then in 2012, “The Carpenter” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, followed by “Magpie And The Dandelion,” which debuted at No. 5 on Billboard’s Top 200 in 2013.
G.Love & Special Sauce out of Philadelphia is known for songs such as “Baby's Got Sauce,” “Laughing in the Sunshine,” “Peace, Love and Happiness,” and “Cold Beverage.” The band last played Des Moines last summer at Water Works Park.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $35 to $70.
Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. at iowastatefair.org or 800-514-3849.
What other shows have been announced at the Iowa State Fair?
The Iowa State Fair already announced seven other concerts for this summer.
Lauren Daigle
Contemporary Christian singer Lauren Daigle performs at the Iowa State Fair for the first time when she takes the Grandstand on opening night, Aug. 8. Daigle came on the scene in 2015 when she released her debut album, “How Can It Be,” which featured her hits “First,” “Trust in You,” and “O’Lord.”
Foreigner with Melissa Etheridge
Classic rock band Foreigner takes the Grandstand stage on the second night of the fair, AKA East Side Night, a homecoming for Des Moines residents who grew up on the east side of the city. Foreigner is on their "Historic Farewell Tour." The band out of New York City formed in 1976 and released their self-titled debut album in 1977 with hits “Feels Like the First Time” and “Cold as Ice.” They followed that up with “Double Vision” and “Hot Blooded.”
Special guest Melissa Etheridge opens for Foreigner at the Iowa State Fair. The two-time Grammy winner is known for songs such as “I’m the Only One,” “If I Wanted To,” “Come to My Window,” and “I Want to Come Over.” All takes place on Aug. 9.
Jelly Roll performs on Aug. 10. The crossover artist landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart on Feb. 11, 2023, marking his 25 th consecutive week on top of the charts, a new record that passed NLE Choppa’s 24 weeks in 2019 and 2020. Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, earned two Grammy nominations in 2023 for his songs about his former troubled life. He earned the CMA New Artist of the Year award in November. He also won three CMT Music Awards in 2023.
Thomas Rhett
Country singer Thomas Rhett has collected quite a few accolades in the past decade, including several CMA Awards and ACM Awards and five Grammy nominations. Mötley Crüe
Veteran rockers Mötley Crüe perform at the Iowa State Fair for the first time in August.
The heavy metal and rock act is responsible for enduring hits such as “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Dr. Feelgood” and “Shout at the Devil.” They'll perform on Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. for their first Iowa State Fair Grandstand show. Mötley Crüe got its start in Los Angeles and features Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars. Joining the band at the Iowa State Fair is special guest and hard rock band Pop Evil of “Torn to Pieces” and “Footsteps” fame.

Get ready for a night of pop music transformed for kids’ ears when Kidz Bop Live 2024 takes the stage at the Iowa State Fair on Aug. 18, the final night. The group founded in 2001 features some of the day’s biggest hits such as "Anti-Hero," "Cuff It," “As It Was,” and more. The music brand takes pop songs from performers such as Britney Spears or Outkast and swaps out kid-friendly lyrics, good for the whole family. In the past decade alone, the group recorded 900-plus songs and sold more than 22 million albums.
