The Lands Between Map

Divine tower of caelid.

Divine Tower of Caelid is one of the Minor Dungeons found in the Caelid Region in Elden Ring. It is an optional dungeon that is home to a few treasure items and a miniboss Foe. This page contains information on the location, walkthrough, and guide to traverse this dungeon, locate all of its treasure, and tips to defeat the enemies within.

How to Get to Divine Tower of Caelid

To the north of central Caelid, on the coast to the west of Dragonbarrow Fork, you'll encounter a large stone tower. Head up to the edge of the ridge by the tower and you'll note a number of large tree branches beneath you that attach to the tower, allowing you to jump onto them (on or off of Torrent) and cross to reach the narrow ledges lining the outside of the tower.

Divine Tower of Caelid Walkthrough

Jump across the branch and deal with the Soldier with the flaming pole around the side of the ladder. Then head up the ladder and pass along the broken segments of the column to your left. Continuing jump across the gaps as you turn the corner, and use Torrent to jump the larger gap as you turn to face east, passing the ladder for now. Around that back corner to the east is a corpse holding a Numen's Rune .

Divine Caelid Numens Rune.jpg

Backtrack and climb the ladder to reach a Site of Grace on the left. If you head up the stairs to the west, you can open the door at the top on the left to reach the elevator room allowing you to restore Radahn's Great Rune , providing you have already defeated Starscourge Radahn .

Divine Caelid Radahn Rune Lift.jpg

Other than that, head down the various stairs to the east of the Site of Grace to face off against two Radahn Soldiers. There is a locked door to the southwest, so you'll need to do some very intricate platforming in this section.

Divine Caelid Radahn Soldiers.jpg

Drop off onto the column below to the northwest, then perform a running jump to the platform across the gap on the right. As you land, it will collapse and you'll land with it a couple of floors below.

Divine Caelid First Drop.jpg

Then, staying close to the central structure this whole room revolves around, very carefully drop off the edge to land on a platform below. Then carefully drop onto the unlit brazier on the right-hand side, then the platform beneath that.

Divine Caelid 2nd Drops.jpg

Jump across to the next column along to the southwest, then jump across and down to the platform southeast, beneath the brazier on the outer wall. Then turn around and jump back across to the central section, where you'll see a Radahn Soldier to the left near a pressure plate. Be careful fighting this Radahn Soldier, as the geometry can make it very easy to be knocked off/backward, and rolling is a no-no.

Divine Caelid 3rd Drops.jpg

After defeating the soldier, step on the pressure plate to summon a lift. Ride the lift up and follow the path around to the left. Along the wall to the right is a ladder that will lead you up to the locked door you encountered earlier, allowing a shortcut. Head back down the ladder and continue on where a Blackflame Monk will confront you. Beyond the Blackfire Monk, you'll find a dead-end.

Divine Caelid 1st Monk.jpg

To the left of the corpse at this dead-end, walk very carefully along the ledge, until you reach the far side where you'll see a fractured column beneath you.

Divine Caelid Corpse Ledge.jpg

Drop down onto it and take a massive fall (without fall damage), and you'll land near another pressure plate to summon a second lift. Ride that lift down to reach the next Site of Grace.

Divine Caelid 2nd Lift.jpg

Head down the steps past the Site of Grace to confront another Blackflame Monk who is guarding a mist wall.

Boss Fight - Godskin Apostle

A tall slender white figure bathed in robes, the Godskin Apostle wields a hooked staff. It's recommended to have a weapon of at least +11 to be able to deal sufficient damage.

The Apostle will, at range, throw Blackflame at you, knocking you to the ground should it make contact. These can be easily dodge-rolled so long as you keep an eye on the Apostle at all times, otherwise this will catch you out and leave you vulnerable to a follow-up attack.

Apostle 1st Phase.jpg

As a melee fighter, the Apostle is incredibly aggressive. The Apostle can perform jabs with the lower end of its staff but mainly relies on fast flurries and combos. It spins staff furiously in front of itself, creating a whirlwind-type effect that is recommended that you just run away from. It will also perform multiple 360-degree spins often ending in an overhead jumping slam. All of these attacks are best dodged, as the ferocity of the attacks can make it incredibly risky to attempt a parry.

At around 50% health, the Apostle will float off the ground and hunch up before exploding out in a Blackflame sphere. This initiates the second phase of the encounter, where the Apostle becomes even more aggressive and speedy. It also has the ability to extend its body to cross the entire distance of the arena, performing variations of sweeps, slams, and slashes but aren't restricted to the Apostle's immediate vicinity. The best way to make this encounter far easier, like other boss fights, is to use the Mimic Tear Ashes. That allows the Apostle to focus many of its attacks on the Mimic, which makes it easier to execute jumping attacks that can stagger the Apostle opening it up to critical strikes.

Apostle 2nd Phase.jpg

Upon defeating the Godskin Apostle, you'll earn the Godskin Apostle Hood , the Godskin Apostle Robe , the Godskin Apostle Bracelets , and the Godskin Apostle Trousers . If you head down the steps on the opposite side of the arena to where you entered, you'll find a wisp of light to teleport you outside the tower, alongside a chest that contains the Godslayer's Greatsword .

Divine Tower of Caelid Walkthrough

Restoring radahn's great rune.

This tower is best visited after defeating Starscourge Radahn  and acquiring his Great Rune.

To get into the tower, summon Torrent and ride off towards the tower in the northeast from the Dragonbarrow west Site of Grace. On the way, you can find a Teardrop Scarab on a dead tree root protruding out of the ground, kill it to get a Somber Smithing Stone [8] ; be mindful that this scrab will explode on kill, so dodge out of the way after. Continue northeast.

At the edge of the plateau, you will see a large root protruding from the cliffs towards the tower. Jump onto this root and follow it high enough till you can safely jump towards one of the tower's ledges to the left. Beware of the soldier on this ledge and take him out carefully. Note there are a couple of paths to choose & items that can be collected ahead. Take the ladder up and, if you walk to the right, you can find a foot soldier holding a torch on the ledge below next to a ladder. If you move past him & continue around, you will find a Stonesword Key being guarded by a soldier wielding a spear & tower shield. You may now return to the first pair of ladders and walk on the ledge to the left jump across the triangular ledge which has two cracks. Note that you can still summon Torrent at this point, whom you can use to perform a double jump if you aren't confident platforming on your own. Go around the next section and kill the soldier sitting on the ledge. There is another triangular section ahead with two cracks on the right side and another one on the left. There is another ledge on the next section with a ladder. Before climbing up, perform more jumping on the ledges to the left then to find a corpse with Numen's Rune . Return to the previous ladder and climb up to find the Divine Tower of Caelid: Center grace site. Note: you can also proceed directly to the site of grace first, then head back down the final ladder, and use Torrent to double jump left to reach the Numen's Rune with ease.

Head west from the Site of Grace and up the steps to find the door towards the main tower lift. Note that the door is on the left side of the corridor and can easily be mistaken by the engravings on the center wall. Step on the platform in the middle to ascend the lift and then follow the steps around the balconies to reach the top floor and restore power to Radahn's Great Rune .

Tower Basement & The Godskin Apostle

There is a boss to be found at the base of the tower. To reach this location, head east from the Center Site of Grace and down the steps. You will encounter two  Radahn Soldiers here and a locked door at the end. Look down below to the right to find a long concrete platform you can jump down to. Look behind you and you will find narrow ledges along the walls that you can walk on. Walk towards a second concrete platform on the left and jump on it. It will break and come crashing down a few levels below but don't worry, you will not suffer fall damage from this.

Walk over to the thinner portion that the platform crashed on and carefully drop down to the wider platform below. There is a corpse here with a Golden Rune (12) . Walk towards the center of the platform and look down at the right (north) side to find an unlit lamp sticking out the tower's center. Carefully jump onto this lamp and then onto the concrete platform below. Jump onto the half-beam next to you and then down the two half-beams ahead and below that one. You should now be closer to the tower's center with a soldier to your left. Take him out with ranged attacks if possible and then head to where he was and ride the cage elevator up.

You will arrive on a balcony with a long ladder to the right. This ladder leads up to a room where you can unlock the door from earlier to gain a shortcut in case you die in the next section. Head back down the ladder and continue along the corridor to find a Blackflame Monk  patrolling the hallway. Be careful as his spells are very powerful and he is quite nimble with his blade as well. After defeating the monk, check the corpse at the end of the corridor for a Rune Arc . To the left of the corpse is another ledge running along the outer walls. Follow it to another concrete platform below that you can jump on. This one will come crashing down as well but again, you will not suffer fall damage despite the very long fall. There is another cage elevator here that will take you to the basement. You can find the Basement Site of Grace after descending the lift. From here, head down the steps to fight another monk and you will have arrived at the boss door.

Boss: Godskin Apostle

The Godskin Apostle is a powerful boss equipped with a twinblade that has a sickle-end for slashing and a blade-end for thrusting and stabbing. He utilizes Black Flame spells similar to the monks earlier in the tower. When fighting this boss, you want to maintain a medium distance to avoid many of his attacks and only close in during openings. His melee attacks have a bit of weight to them and he does short wind-ups before attacking, similar to but not to the same extent as Margit at Stormveil.

Some notable attack windows are when he performs his Stab & Slash; he has a moderate recovery time after the second attack in which you can safely get one or two hits in. Another one is his Jumping Overhead Slash which has a slightly longer recovery than other attacks and can guarantee 2 hits for you. These two attacks are relatively easy to dodge. The attacks you should watch out for are his Black Flame as it travels quite quickly, you should dodge as soon as you see the casting rune; and his Stab & Pull which hits twice for massive damage. Another move he may use is the Spinning Weapon in which he twirls his blade in front of him as he advances forward. Maintain your distance or dodge through and behind him.

When his HP is lowered to 60%, he will float upwards briefly and then slam down, creating a shockwave around him, signifying his second phase. Get away from him when you see him float. From  this point, he can unlatch the skin of his upper torso from the rest of his body and fling it around to greatly extend his reach as well as unlock new abilities. His notable attack windows during this phase is when he uses the Flight variant of Spinning Weapon, in which he flings his upper torso outwards while spinning his weapon. His lower body remains stationary and if you can dodge through his weapon, he will be vulnerable to attack from his elongated abdomen to his legs for the duration of the attack as his torso is locked in the animation.

He will also frequently use a Plunging Blade & Sweep move where he flings his torso upwards and then slams down with his weapon, followed by a very wide sweeping slash. Both hits are easy to read and can be outranged or dodged and he is vulnerable for a couple of seconds after the sweep. Lastly, he can perform a Black Flame Whirlwind attack where he twirls his weapon in place, creating a whirlwind extending outwards all around him. The attack culminates with him plunging his blade into the ground and causing the whirlwind to burst and extend outwards a short distance from its initial edge. Do not stand too close to the edge even when the whirlwind has stopped moving. The Godskin Apostle seems susceptible to magic damage and his poise can be broken rather easily by using multi-hit spells such as Glintblade Phalanx  or Glintstone Stars , allowing you to get a critical attack in.

Defeating this Godskin Apostle awards his armor set, comprised of the Godskin Apostle Hood , Godskin Apostle Robe , Godskin Apostle Bracelets , and Godskin Apostle Trousers . The room behind him is also unlocked and you can find a chest inside containing the Godslayer's Greatsword  Colossal Weapon.

Why is this the only tower that actually has stuff in it? Also the platforming is fun — it's not From's fault you have the fine motor control of a toddler and anger management skills to match

This area should be renamed the Divine Tower of B*llsh*t.

A lot of complaints about the platforming, fully justified as well. But part of the blame rests with a handful of arsÂŁholes leaving messages in seemingly inaccessible places. I think From thought it would be fun for everyone.

Omg!!! From software, I am at odds. But u guys made the skeletons fly somewere' btwn Altus lift and outer wall phantom tree. I seen it. Skeletons levitating. But this board....so many lives. We like u guys, c'mon.

Its really not too bad. Just spend your runes first and you can hop around worry-free. Cool sword awaits..

Game of the year, huh?

Hands down the worst section of a souls game. I can't believe the developers didn't play test this before realizing how limited and clunky their character controller is for platforming.

I for one think the platforming is an excellent addition to the game. Adds another layer of thrill. Quite enjoyed this area, personally

oh boy, that mid-game boss sure was a challenge. I sure hope his divine tower doesn't have late-game scaling

How do you open the door to the main tower lift?

Torrent is surprisingly nimble on those outside ledges!

When jumping onto the brazier/lantern, don’t jump just walk off. Works all the time, 99% of the time.

Platforming in this game really bad, I lost 1.4mil runes just trying to get inside. I hate this place

So, why are the godskin apostle and his monks at the divine tower of caelid?

tour divine caelid boss

the view from the top of this tower is amazing

This was the first divine tower I ever visited, so I didn't know how they worked; I didn't realize the door was to the left after going up the stairs, so I shrugged and turned around and headed all the way down the tower instead. Ground my teeth at the platforming and Godskin for a couple of hours, and was very confused when I got a cool sword at the end of it instead of activating a rune. I thought all the towers would be this painful to get through, so I avoided activating any runes until very late in the game; I was tying up loose ends and was pleasantly surprised when Limgrave's tower consisted only of some stairs and an elevator.

No necesary need to enter this tower to succed your plan... so quit whining and succeed. btw ... first try to get Rain of Arrows without spiritjumping what you've seen AND kill it's sleeping guardener (things/people that protect garden(s)) ... preferably with a one-shot.

Stink Developer Tower

"I can Kill Dragon, Demigod, Outer God, ETC" "Drop down from 3,001 M Platform [YOU DIED] I HATE UNREASONABLE PLATFORMING *yes I Already use AssAssIn Steps.

"It will break and come crashing down a few levels below but don't worry, you will not suffer fall damage from this." They Say, It will be fine they say

FromSoftware again thinking they're developing Crash Bandicoot or something... Stop with the platforming already. This game genre clearly isn't able to deliver it in an enjoyable way. They try and fail with that kind of stuff since the Great Hollow in DS1. There's absolutely no need to put platforming into a well-working action-adventure game when you already have a great combat system. And even if FromSoftware really wants to, they should realize that this kind of platforming was an embarassment even in the 2000s and they seriously need to up their game to produce something of today's quality.

yo F this place

Every time I go down that first hallway the floor is completely covered red with bloodstains. That Radahn Solider with the greatsword has probably got a higher kill count than any of the bosses.

"Seems to be vulnerable to magic and spells with multiple hits stagger him easily." I call bullshit. I only staggered him once and that was by casting glintstone comet repeatedly, and this was late into the fight.

Everybody gangsta till an mf walks in with a thrall hood and sunlight talisman

Many of the Divine Towers around the map appear damaged in an unusual way, where the stone has been deformed and appears "melted". Whether the damage is indeed melting, erosion, or something else is at this point unclear. This is one of the only, if not the only, Divine Towers with no visible external damage. I have a big long list of questions I hope the DLC will answer and the Divine Towers are close to the top -- why are they damaged? Why are there dead two fingers on top of most of them? What's at the center of the ring the towers form?

If you ever find yourself playing too much of the game and can't get yourself to stop, just come here, this place will get you to stop

I've backed out of my inventory and hit B (dodge) one too many times and jumped backwards off a ledge to my death. Twice. 10 minute break.

This triggers my fear of heights.

what a thrill...

tour divine caelid boss

At the base of the tower, there's a somber smithing stone (9), a Rune Arc, and two Arteria Leaves.

to skip basement platforming part from the center grace: drop onto the first collapsing bridge so you land just past the cracks. Orient yourself towards the wall (East) as you drop. The bridge collapses after a slight delay, allowing you to roll towards the wall as soon as you touch it. If you time your roll right (or basically just spam the roll button), you'll land either on the mid-section of a pillar or on the balcony where the 2 blackmonks are. It's better to face slightly left of East than right so you land further away from the monk. To be clear this skips the 2nd paragraph of the "TOWER BASEMENT & THE GODSKIN APOSTLE" which is the most annoying section. You can come back to grab the rune [12].

WHY THE HELL ARE THE 2 KNIGHTS SO DAMN OP. One just hides around the corner and then stunlocks you to death

why is enemy in this place much stronger than the rest of caelid?

**** this place

Finished tower and Godskin Boss level 62 - Seek Bloodloss and Frost.

Got to the top with no boss confused as to where this boss everyone is talking about is

If you get invaded by a guy with "radahn", "sellia", "alabaster", or anything gravity-related in their character name in this level, you may as well just stop delaying the inevitable and jump down yourself.

i spent so much time jumping on top of rocks to skip large portions of the game in the early game, tower was compared to the rocks that led literally nowhere elementary

Using Rejection, while scaling the outside of the tower, is fun(ny).

Miyazaki tries adding some platforming sections into his game because he loves Super Mario (it's going to make you cry) Can't wait to see his underwater level on Elden Ring 2

That blackflame monk goon outside the boss room loves to get a cheap shot on me through the fog wall.

Outside the tower at the very bottom there is a chair circle with various itmes, a Rune Arc, a Somber Smothing Stone 9 an Ateria Leaf and Dragonwound Grease. Instead of jumoing towards the guy with the giant torch by the ladder in the beginnung look down to the right side of the root, there i s another root to drop down, if ou follow that root downwards you should see the chairs in a circle and the items. No Enemies are down here, however this can also be reached by a path on cliffside guarded by some dragons.

Not weak to magic

The hel is with the level scaling in this place? I have no idea when i should actually be here or even dragonroost for that matter, i feel the wiki suggested level for it is WAY more than 90-110. I get one combo'd by the apostle boss at lvl 117 even with godrickies great rune running.

This is my 2nd playthrough and I couldn't find the ****ing door to the lift lmao Thanks

Love the info! But you guys consistently mess up east and west haha. West is left!

Ahh so I head to beat Radahn first to get through the door. It sounds like it’s optional. I first found this door at lvl 34 and tried to basement boss. That didn’t go so well for me. I’m lvl 105 now so I’ve returned to face the exact same scenario, hence me breaking and using wiki as a last resort. Radahn it is then!

bait the blackflame monk to follow you to the top of the stairs and kick him down the chute ;) from a high-enough distance it's an instant kill

I died from the cracked ledge.

"Note that the door is on the left side of the corridor and can easily be mistaken by the engravings on the center wall. " THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!

For anyone who doesn't know. Dropping rainbow stones off cliffs will tell you if a drop is lethal or not. If the stone shatters, it's lethal and you will 100% die. If it lands on the ground below, then it's not a lethal drop (but you may still take damage).

****ing hell, the platforming part inside the tower sure was an anxiety-inducing nightmare.

Bring the longtail cat talisman for this. You can get it in the Raya Lucaria academy. Totally negates fall damage (as long as it would not ordinarily be lethal.( Somewhat hard to tell what will or won't be lethal but it's very handy for the tower. Might be the best talisman in the game.

Jump or no jump, **** platforming in FromSoft games man

Pro tip: Get your weight to less than 30% for longer jumps. That way there will be no need to use Torrent for double jumps, because he is a suicide machine.

Is there any way to open the locked door behind the two Radahn soldiers (right after the Center Site of Grace)?

FYI the game doesn't save until the flesh slice sound when you die. If you miss a jump, Alt+F4 immediately before the game actually records your death.

Why would they make the wall fancier than the actual door lmao.. I beat the whole dungeon thinking i was missing something

Bug report: I've seen a bug and I don't know where to report it so I post it here. In Divine Tower of Caelid: Basement, most of the time when I used Furled Finger to help others before the boss area, I suddenly get a lot of Runes (around 100k) for free and then returning to my world without even fighting! Please fix it. Thanks.

**** this bullshit, the rune isn't worth it

“you will not suffer fall damage from this.“ I’ve died every time lol.

You can drop onto the wooden axle above the elevator to the ground floor and slide off onto the platform where you can get in That turns the route to the ground floor after you've unlocked the shortcut to: 1. Beat or run past the first two knights from the central tower site of grace 2. Descend the ladder and get on the first elevator. 3. Kill the knight sitting down at the elevator landing 4. Proceed all the way along the ledge at that level 5. Drop onto the axle and slide off onto the platform

Does anyone even know how to get to the top of this thing? No amount of searching has turned up even an idea as to what to do.

The door at the top of the tower is to the side, not directly in front.

Bugged on original Xbox, if I look at any light source a lens flare effect takes up the entire screen

Give me more poison swamps please I can't die to this tower anymore

Those two soldiers before the parkour are harder than most bosses from this game

the parkour on the inside of the tower is TREMENDOUS and VILE like god damn, i thought its gonna be a cakewalk but you just get insta killed if you fall off a milimeter too high OR you slide off the edge of the platform because jumping in this game has no momentum whatsoever unless youre running. lost like 25k souls sadly

tour divine caelid boss

So I did the parkour to the bottom a couple dozen times before I realized that I could just open the door and unlock the shortcut. PAAAAIIIIN. Still can't open the stone door at the top of the tower though even after beating the boss here, guess it's story stuff or I missed a path.

I just wanted the cool sword.. What did we do to deserve this, lord Miyazaki?

The door leading to the lift west of the center grace site isn't open. No option to open it either and I did beat Radahn (and the Basement Apostle if that's applicable). Anyone experiencing this because I'm guessing it's a bug.

Hi guys, did anyone find out what is the locked wooden door near the Center Site of Grace (down the steps where we start to descent to the basement) and how to open it? When interacted it says the door can't be opened from this side. I poked my nose everywhere but couldn't find how to reach the other side. Maybe there is an illusory wall or something

There's a numen rune that gives 12500 souls on the outside of the tower, on 3rd or 2nd floor. Also, you can double jump on torrent to correct yourself or jump around the obstacle

Every other game: No, you're not supposed to go there. Miyazaki and From: This is the way.

...the sad thing is I thought this was just a weird setup like the Divine Tower of Liurnia and just. Went down, thinking that's where I'd upgrade the rune, dealing with all the platforming the whole way. Imagine my surprise.

died more times than any boss in this place

on the falling platform, you can be step on it, then roll forward to pick up the rune arc. then fight the enemy on the platform. go up the ladder and open the shortcut with no platforming jumps needed!

You can get the entire Black Flame Monk set over here by killing the monks there. I got my by killing the one in the basement over and over again. Took maybe like 3-4 hours lol... but WORTH! You get the full set.

tour divine caelid boss

There's a whole basement section with a boss, Godskin Apostle.

at first i thought i'm just wasting time doing clearly not intended collision climbing around this tower... until i finally reached a bonfire inside nope, totally intended platforming section, Miyazaki edition, with even more fun inside

I’m assuming this is the big tower next to the first bonfire. You can climb up the ladders, but you have to drop back down to climb the next ladder and so on. It’s a bit of a puzzle and I haven’t reached the top yet

Do the white hooded enemies have a chance to drop their weapon? Or is it now playable?

Now go back to the ladder and climb it all the way to the top. If you look north, you’ll see another ledge that you can use to cross to the other side, this time however you’ll have to carefully jump over a couple of gaps to safely cross to the other side. Defeat the enemy there and continue by crossing over the next ledge leading northeast, and you’ll reach another ladder going up.

The stairs lead down to a small room, with a soldier sitting in the back and another one waiting to the right of the doorway. To make it easier, use ranged attacks on the enemy in the back of the room to deal with him before dealing with his buddy. Northwest of the room, jump down to the platform below, and follow the ledge going north along the wall to reach another similar platform that you can jump down to.

Go back down the ladder once you’ve unlocked the shortcut, and go down the hallway to find a fairly robust enemy. Not only does he have a lot of health, you will not be able to stagger him when he starts casting his incantations. However, don’t hesitate to backstab him as there will be plenty of room to roll towards his back and stab it.

Divine Tower of Caelid: Everything You Need to Know

Maine San

The Divine Tower of Caelid is one of the six divine towers in Elden Ring. Divine towers are used to restore  great runes  gained from the remaining shard bearers.

After  defeating Starscourge Radahn  and receiving Radahn’s great rune, you can seek out where to activate his great rune. However, the Divine Tower of Caelid presents a difficult platforming challenge, where one wrong step means death.

Additionally, once you make it to the tower, it isn’t immediately clear how to go to the top of the Divine Tower of Caelid. To make matters worse, there’s an even harder platforming segment to reach the bottom of the tower.

In this Elden Ring Divine Tower of Caelid guide, I’ll show you how to overcome the two trickly platforming sections. Additionally, I’ll also show you where to activate Radahn’s great rune and how to defeat the boss at the bottom of the tower.

Restoring Radahn’s Great Rune

The Divine Tower of Caelid is located in the north of Caelid, specifically at Dragonbarrow. It’s difficult to miss once you’re in Dragonbarrow as it’s a massive tower, visible at many vantage points in the region.

Divine Tower

The fastest way to get to Dragonburrow is by taking the waygate straight to Bestial Sanctum, where you can  get beast incantations  in Elden Ring. The shortcut is to the north of the Third Church of Marika, located in Limgrave just above Mistwood.

Go to the ravine to the north, then turn to the east. Under the cliff, hidden behind some foliage, is a waygate to send you to Bestial Sanctum. From here, mount your horse and start following the path south.

After reaching  Lenne’s Rise , go west past Dragonbarrow Cave and the Minor Erdtree. Eventually, you’ll come across the map fragment to Dragonbarrow; the Divine Tower of Caelid is just north of that landmark.

Before going to the Divine Tower of Caelid, make a quick detour to the west of the map fragment. Look for the Dragonbarrow West Site of Grace and use it as your respawn site; you need a safety net for the tricky platforming challenge ahead.

Dragonbarrow west

It’s best to stay mounted on Torrent during your ascent up the tower, as Torrent is easy to control while jumping. Additionally, you can redirect Torrent mid-air if you need to correct your jump, allowing you to save yourself from an otherwise dangerous situation. Lastly, don’t forget to dismount from Torrent while stationary and not while moving, as you’ll propel yourself forward if you dismount from the latter.

Now, head north to reach the Divine Tower of Caelid. The way up is intimidating, and one step could be fatal, but as long as you’re careful, you’ll make it. Once you’re at the cliff near the tower, jump to the large vines below and follow them near the bottom of the structure.

Tower of Caelid

Leap to the ledge with the enemy holding a long torch. Combat in this tight area is complicated with melee weapons as you’ll run the risk of hitting the wall. You can either take out the enemies in advance with ranged armaments like using spells, incantations, or bows. However, a spear or any thrusting weapon also works in this scenario.

Start climbing the first ladder after dealing with the first enemy. There are a few ladders and dead ends during the ascent. You can avoid these by looking for the areas populated with enemies or following the messages left by other players (if you can trust them).

After the first ladder, head to your right and scale the semi-circular ledge. Be wary of the cracks on the ledge and jump over them. Land on the platform with the torch-wielding Redmane Knight and defeat him. Then, climb the ladder.

Tower 2

After climbing, look to your left and climb the triangular ledge. Unfortunately, the structure has two cracks you’re going to need to jump over with Torrent. Face the building while walking forward, so you don’t accidentally fall.

Tower 3

Another enemy is sitting after the corner. First, kill him, then prepare to jump over the familiar triangular ledge. However, there are three cracks that you have to jump over this time.

Climb the ladder, and you’re almost safe. Carefully walk to the left and activate the Divine Tower of Caelid Site of Grace.

General Radahn’s great rune is directly west of the Site of Grace. Go through the door and head up the stairs. Once you reach the end of the hallway, move closer to the door on the left and interact with it to open it.

Tower 4

This design choice has confused many players about restoring Radahn’s great rune. At first glance, it doesn’t look like a door at all as it looks like a wall.

Head through the door and activate the elevator. Then, simply follow the steps spiraling up the balconies to reach the peak of the Divine Tower of Caelid. If you have Radahn’s great rune, you can restore it in the center.

To use Radahn’s great rune after restoring it, use any Site of Grace and equip it on the Great Rune menu. Then, use a Rune Arc to activate its effects. Radahn’s great rune raises the player’s maximum HP, FP, and Stamina.

Divine Tower of Caelid Guide

Now, to descend the Divine Tower of Caelid, go east of the Divine Tower of Caelid Site of Grace. Enter the door and go down several flights of stairs.

When you reach the bottom, there’s a Redmane Knight with a shield waiting for you. There’s another knight hiding to the right. Dispose of both of them, and ignore the locked door for now. Then, drop down to the platform below.

tower 5

Turn around, then carefully follow the ledge to the left (northeast). Drop down to the cracked platform and enjoy your plunge. From here, go to the end of the platform and inch to the edge until you fall to the one below you.

The next bit is tricky and caused many deaths on this descent. Fall to the circle to the right (facing the center) of the platform. Simply walk and fall on top of the circle, don’t try to run, jump, or roll to it as you’ll go past it.

Tower 6

Drop to the next platform and jump on the next thinner platform. Then, walk forward and jump off the edge, landing on the platform below.

If you have a ranged weapon or can cast spells or incantations, it’s a good vantage point to take out the Redmane Knight sitting down. Otherwise, with a melee weapon, it’s best if you can parry his strike and riposte for a safer fight.

tower 7

Follow the ledge to where the knight was sitting and take the lift. Once above, take the ladder on the east to unlock the previously unlocked door near the two Redmane Knights. Go back down the ladder and head through the door on the east.

You’ll be attacked by a Blackflame Monk patrolling the corridor. Aside from being a potent fighter, it can also use black flame to imbue their weapon with the element or throw it as a fireball.

After defeating the Blackflame Monk, move forward and walk to the ledge. Follow the ledge, then drop down on top of another cracked platform. It’s a long drop, but you won’t die from it.

tower 7 1

Walk to the end of the platform and take the lift down. Finally, activate the Divine Tower of Caelid Basement Site of Grace to complete the platforming test.

Another Blackflame Monk is up ahead, and the Godskin Apostle boss after that. The boss is quite a challenge, and it’s recommended to fight it at around level 90-110.

Feel free to level somewhere else while upgrading your gear if the boss seems too powerful for you. After all, you can always teleport back to the Divine Tower of Caelid Basement Site of Grace to rechallenge the Godskin Apostle.

Defeating Godskin Apostle

Before anything else, take care of Blackflame Monk guarding the boss entrance. If you decide to summon spirit ashes, it will draw the spirit’s attention away from the boss. The spirit will be busy attempting to fight the monk at the fog wall, ruining your chances against the boss.

Monk enemy

One more note on spirit ashes, you want to summon help depending on the phase of the fight. Generally, the first phase is more demanding, especially for melee players. Therefore, a summon in the first phase is excellent for creating more opportunities for you to attack.

Godskin Apostle’s second phase gains new ranged moves. Ranged and magic users might want to summon during this time. However, it’s still your choice when to call back-up, depending on what phase of the fight you require assistance.

Godskin Apostle’s first phase is where a majority of players falter. Equipped with its signature twinblade called the Godskin Peeler, it uses the sickle end to slice while using the spiky end to stab and thrust. You can  grab your own Godskin Peeler  at the north of the Altus Plateau in Windmill Village.

There are almost no long windows to attack during the first phase, as Godskin Apostle strikes with long strings of combos and boasts a quick recovery time. This fight is a rough time for anyone using colossal weapons; I can personally attest to that.

I lost to the Godskin Apostle, so many times I was able to fully farm the Blackflame Monk set from the enemy outside the door. For those using colossal weapons, prioritize heavy jump attacks and the fastest attack of your moveset. For example, colossal swords can use the poke attack from crouch or after a roll, while colossal hammers should use the regular light attack or their swift guard counter.

Here’s the best advice: Godskin Apostle is vulnerable to sleep. A sleep pot throwable or the sleep arrow can go a long way to create a massive opening. The mimic tear summon can also throw sleep pots when it is equipped in your quick slot when you call it.

There are also weapons like the Sword of St. Trina and St. Trina’s Torch that can apply the sleep status effect using its unique Ashes of War. Bleed is also an excellent status effect against it, even against the stronger variation Godskin Noble.

Godskin Apostle usually begins the fight with the Black Flame incantation as soon as you enter the room. It creates a black fireball before throwing it at the target, dealing immense initial damage and some damage over time. Roll through to the Black Flame for a quick melee attack, or roll to the side to cast a fast spell.

Tower 9

Godskin Apostle also casts Black Flame when you use your flask in an idle state. If you’re far away enough, you can easily dodge out the way at the last second.

But most of the time, the incantation hits you just before you can roll away. So don’t heal while the boss is idle, and only take the opportunity to replenish your health and focus points while it is attacking.

Godskin Apostle has a few regular attacks it can cycle through during the fight. First, it twirls its weapon momentarily before slashing twice, pausing for half a second, then stabbing.

For this attack, dodge towards the direction of the attack for every hit. You’ll have a small window to counter in after the stab for light and fast weapons, but heavier weapons avoid retaliating.

When you’re away from Godskin Apostle, it can jump towards you before striking with its weapon. However, the attack is surprisingly quick, so you may have to dodge earlier.

godskin jump

This attack is the best time for any playstyle to get in a few hits as the recovery is very slow. For melee players, you can even attempt to break their stance by charging a heavy attack. Of course, it’s always a good idea to bait this attack by staying a few feet away from the boss.

It can also perform a fast slash before retreating. It usually follows up with the Black Flame incantation or other ranged attacks it gains in the second phase. When you see it raises its weapon to the right, immediately dodge backward and prepare for the next attack.

Another unexpected attack it can do is stabbing with the sickle, then pulling the target closer to it. This is one of its most dangerous attacks as it can combo into itself for massive damage.

Before lunging for the first time, it has a fast wind-up where it readies its weapon behind; it is an almost non-existent telegraph that you have to dodge on reaction. That’s why it’s best to keep some distance away from Godskin Apostle at all times to avoid speed attacks like this and to bait long telegraphed attacks like the jumping attack.

It can also stab with the pointy end of its weapon up to three times. The first attack comes out immediately, pauses, then stabs two more times. It’s static during this move, so feel free to attack from a range.

Godskin Apostle’s most damaging attack is when it rapidly spins its weapon in front of it. The boss telegraphs this move by twirling its weapon before it moves forward.

godskin twirl

Don’t attempt to block or contest the move, as it can tear through your health or endurance. But, if you were able to evade it, this is the best time to heal or attack with ranged options. Be ready to execute a heavy jumping attack as soon as the animation ends.

When Godskin Apostle’s health goes below 60%, it will cross its arms and levitate. Afterward, it will slam down and release black flame around it, signifying the second phase of the fight.

godskin 2

Godskin Apostle will start executing four new moves. Any of these three moves are relatively easier to dodge compared to the swift attacks of the first phase. Fortunately, these latest moves are slow, telegraphed, and leave a wide opening to attack once evaded.

The first new attack starts with Godskin Apostle spinning its weapon, like the move mentioned above. But this time, it extends his upper half and advances towards the target.

Don’t panic and just dodge right through the attack. Afterward, start wailing on the lower half of its body.

The second attack is quite tricky. First, Godskin Apostle extends its upper half and attacks the target; its lower half goes to where its upper half was last located. Then, finally, it extends its upper half and sweeps in the immediate area.

Look to dodge both attacks before attacking. The recovery time isn’t the longest, but it’s enough to get one or two attacks.

For the third attack, Godskin Apostle stands in place and extends its upper body. Then, it attacks in a circle leaving a trail of black flame. First, it attacks near it, then expands to an outer circle.

There’s a sweet spot where you can stay just beyond the reach of the first circle, if you don’t move backward you won’t get hit. Ranged players can start hitting from here, while melee players have to wait for the first trail of flame to disappear before moving in for an attack.

Lastly, it imbues its weapon with black flame, then twirls it around its body, forming a flaming tornado. It will continually extend and expand, before Godskin Apostle slams its weapon down, creating one more large tornado. You can also recreate this move when you pick up a Godskin Peeler for yourself.

godskin whirlwind

Once you recognize the black flame, start running away from Godskin Apostle. The whole animation takes some time, so ranged characters can use all of this free time to pelt the boss with attacks.

For those carrying Sleep Pots, this is a perfect time to use them as the boss is stuck in place.

To recap, always try to keep a short distance away from Godskin Apostle. Melee players will have a difficult time during the first phase, but will breeze through the second phase when they can identify long recoveries. Meanwhile, ranged builds should try to bait long recovery attacks like the black flame incantation, or the jump attack, as this provides ample time to use spells and bows.

For those having a really hard time against the boss, don’t forget to abuse its weakness to sleep. You can chain the sleep status effect against it to effectively cheese the fight and defeat Godskin Apostle.

Congratulations on defeating the Godskin Apostle under the Divine Tower of Caelid! Hopefully, you learned enough from the fight because you have to fight it a few more times throughout Elden Ring.

Additionally, there’s an absolutely dreadful fight where you have the Godskin Apostle and the Godskin Noble at the same time. But, that’s a problem for later in the game.

For your efforts defeating Godskin Apostle, you’ll receive the Godskin Apostle set, which includes the hood, robe, bracers, and trousers.

Additionally, you can explore the room after the boss arena to find a treasure chest. Inside, you’ll find the Godslayer’s Greatsword weapon, one of the best faith weapons in the game.

The Godslayer’s Greatsword is a colossal sword that requires 20 strength, 22 dexterity, and 20 faith to use effectively. The Godslayer’s Greatsword uses the excellent colossal sword moveset, and it swings fast for its size.

Additionally, it has a unique Ashes of War named The Queen’s Black Flame. Using it sets the sword on fire before executing a sweeping slash, which you can follow up with additional inputs. Any enemy hit by it will have their HP depleted for a while, similar to the black flame incantation.

Though the Divine Tower of Caelid may be intimidating to ascend its exterior and descend its interior, it is a worthwhile endeavor due to the rewards. As long as you have the nearby Site of Grace as a safety net and patience, you’ll be able to conquer the Divine Tower of Caelid in Elden Ring.

As Caelid is located east of Limgrave, many Elden Ring players mistake it to be the next area after defeating Godrick the Grafted. Unfortunately, Caelid is full of powerful monsters and bosses that’ll surely cause issues and quickly change players' minds into finding the real next area after Limgrave.

RELATED: Elden Ring: All Fist Weapons, Ranked

After the final duel between Starscourge Radahn and Malenia in Elden Ring , Caelid was infected with Scarlet Rot and became inhabited by the undead monsters. Because of the region’s harsh environment, locating and fighting all its bosses may seem like an arduous task for Tarnished.

Updated on June 6, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: Caeild Bosses are known to be more difficult than the normal ones since the region is infested with Scarlet Rot . Some bosses in Caelid even inflict Rot which makes matters even worse if players aren’t prepared. Only brave Tarnished dares to enter this dangerous Region and fight all Caeild Bosses to loot their drops and Runes. Additionally, even though Caeild is considered a mid to late-game area, there are a couple of powerful early weapons and upgrade materials players can collect to get a head start on the early-game bosses.

All Caelid Bosses Locations And Drops In Elden Ring

Caelid is considerably smaller than all the other regions, which is why it can only be split into two sections; Dragonbarrow and Main Caelid.

The Black Blade Kindred is found guarding the entrance to the Bestial Sanctum. The fastest way to reach it is by using the Waygate situated near the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave.

Defeating the Black Blade Kindred boss rewards 88,000 Runes , Gargoyle's Blackblade , and Gargoyle's Black Halberd .

Flying Dragon Greyll is ‌on the bridge southeast of the Bestial Sanctum. Like the Black Blade Kindred, players can get to it quickly by using the same waygate in Limgrave. Upon defeating Flying Dragon Greyll, 80,000 Runes and a Dragon Heart are rewarded .

There are two Night’s Cavalry that can be found in Caelid. The first boss is in the Dragonbarrow section, north of Lenne’s Rise in Elden Ring , and it drops 42,000 Runes as well as Ash of War: Bloodhound's Step .

RELATED: Elden Ring: How to Get to Ranni's Rise From Caria Manor

The second Night’s Cavalry is east of the Caelid Highway South Site of Lost Grace, and it drops 8,500 Runes along with Ash of War: Poison Moth Flight . Keep in mind that both bosses only appear at night.

After overcoming General Radahn, Tarnished will find the War-Dead Catacombs in the north-most section of the Shardbearer’s battlefield. Inside the catacombs is the Putrid Tree Spirit that drops 67,200 Runes , the Redmane Knight Ogha Spirit Ashes , and a Golden Seed .

The Beastman of Farum Azula can be fought as the main boss inside the Dragonbarrow Cave just south of the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid. Upon beating the Beastman, it grants 65,000 Runes and an Elden Ring Talisman , the Flamedrake Talisman +2 .

RELATED: Elden Ring: Best Talismans For Dexterity Builds

Like the Beastman of Farum Azula, the Putrid Avatar can be found south of the Bestial Sanctum in Dragonbarrow. It’s very similar to the Erdtree Avatar, yet very different at the same time, as the Putrid Avatar fights with Scarlet Rot.

Killing it rewards 91,000 Runes , the Opaline Hardtear , and the Stonebarb Cracked Tear .

The Godskin Apostle is an optional boss that’s found in the lower levels of the Divine Tower of Caelid. However, killing it isn’t necessary to obtain Radahn’s Great Rune in Elden Ring . Upon beating the Godskin Apostle, players receive:

  • 94,000 Runes
  • Godskin Apostle Hood
  • Godskin Apostle Robe
  • Godskin Apostle Bracers
  • Godskin Apostle Trousers

The Bell Bearing Hunter boss only spawns at nighttime in various locations throughout the Lands Between. In Caelid, one can be seen just outside the Isolated Merchant’s Shack, west of the Divine Tower of Caelid. Defeating it rewards 50,000 Runes and the Gravity Stone Peddler's Bell Bearing .

The Erdtree Burial Watchdog is located within the Minor Erdtree Catacombs, west of the Isolated Merchant’s Shack. The boss fight consists of two Erdtree Burial Watchdogs fighting together . Killing them drops 7,400 Runes and the Mad Pumpkin Head Ashes .

RELATED: How to Use Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring

This Erdtree Avatar can be fought north from the Shack of Rotting in Caelid near the Minor Erdtree. 9,600 Runes , a Greenburst Crystal Tear , as well as the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear are rewarded upon its defeat.

There are various Magma Wyrm bosses in the world of Elden Ring and one of them is located inside the Gael tunnel, southwest of the Forsaken Ruins. Beating the dragon-like boss grants 7,500 Runes , a Dragon Heart , and the Moonveil in Elden Ring .

While there exists a Mad Pumpkin Head in Limgrave, there’s another one inside the Caelem Ruins just east of the Forsaken Ruins. However, the boss fight in Caelid is between two Mad Pumpkin Heads; one wields a flail while the other uses a hammer.

Once killed, they drop 6,300 Runes and players can now access the treasure chest that contains the Visage Shield .

The Frenzied Duelist can be fought in the last room of the Gaol Cave, north of Caelid Waypoint Ruins. Beating him grants 6,700 Runes and the Putrid Corpse Ashes .

Fallingstar Beast is the final boss of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel , southwest of the Divine Tower of Caelid. The quickest method to reach it is by activating the trap chest inside Dragon-Burnt Ruins.

RELATED: Elden Ring: How To Beat The Fallingstar Beast

Defeating the Fallingstar Beast gives Tarnished 7,600 Runes, as well as Somberstone Miner's Bell Bearing (1) , five Smithing Stones (7) , and a Somber Smithing Stone (6) .

Players have probably encountered Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest as normal enemies in Nokron, the Eternal City. But there is a boss version for these two enemies together in Caelid, right next to Sellia Crystal Tunnel.

Defeating the Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest grants Tarnished 6,400 Runes and an Elden Ring weapon that scales with Strength and Dexterity, the Nox Flowing Sword .

Two Cleanrot Knights are encountered as a boss fight inside the Abandoned Cave, which is east of the Smoldering Wall Site of Lost Grace. Players have to approach the cliff and descend a branch to reach it. Once the duo are defeated, 7,000 Runes and the Elden Ring Talisman , Golden Scarab are given as rewards.

The Battlemage Hugues is inside the Sellia Evergaol, southwest of Fort Faroth in Caelid. Beating the mage rewards Tarnished 7,800 Runes and the Battlemage Hugues Ashes .

Commander O’Neil can be seen inside the Aeonia Swamp right next to the Aeonia Swamp Shore Site of Lost Grace. Killing the commander grants 12,000 Runes , Commander's Standard , and the Unalloyed Gold Needle . The needle is part of two NPC’s Questline , which are Gowry and Millicent.

Decaying Ekzykes is a wounded dragon, affected by the Scarlet Rot . It can be fought by traveling a bit to the east from the Caelid Highroad South bonfire. As usual, defeating the dragon rewards a Dragon Heart in addition to 38,000 Runes .

The Caelid Catacombs are in the south-most parts of Caelid, and it’s where players can encounter the Cemetery Shade. The boss drops 6,800 Runes alongside the Kindred of Rot Ashes .

Similar to the Night’s Cavalry, Death Rite Bird appears only in the nighttime. Tarnished can fight this boss by heading southeast from the Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank Site of Lost Grace. Players get the Death Rite Bird rewards of 15,000 Runes and Death's Poker .

Elder Dragon Greyoll is considered the mother of all dragons and can be found right next to Fort Faroth in Caelid. Many players found a way to use certain exploits in order to farm more Runes from this boss. Beating the dragon rewards 74,000 Runes and five Dragon Hearts .

RELATED: Elden Ring: How To Find The Sleeping Dragon To Get 74k Runes And 5 Dragon Hearts

There are three Crystalians in the Sellia Hideaway right under Fort Faroth. The three bosses are; Crystallian (Spear), Crystallian (Ringblade), and Crystallian (Staff).

Beating all of them grants 7,000 Runes and Crystal Torrent , an Elden Ring Spell that requires 47 Intelligence. It’s also worth mentioning that the cave is part of Sorceress Sellen’s Questline.

RELATED: Elden Ring: Sorceress Sellen Full Quest Walkthrough

General Radahn or Starscourge Radahn is a Shardbearer that’s infested by Scarlet Rot. Reaching him can be done by either exploring Redmane Castle and going through a boss fight before getting to Radahn, or by unlocking Altus Plateau and activating any Site of Lost Grace in the area.

Defeating Starscourge Radahn rewards Tarnished with 70,000 Runes , Remembrance of the Starscourge , and Radahn's Great Rune .

If players chose to explore Redmane Castle before defeating Radahn, the Crucible Knight and Misbegotten put up a fierce fight while progressing to the Radahn’s Festival. Luckily, Tarnished will face the Misbegotten Warrior first and the Crucible Knight appears later. Defeating these two Elden Ring Caelid bosses grants 16,000 Runes and the Ruins Greatsword .

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.

Elden Ring: Divine Tower of Caelid and Radahn’s Great Rune guide

Image of Jason Rodriguez

The Divine Tower of Caelid is a fairly important location in Elden Ring . Trying to get there can be a challenge, since it will test how good you are when it comes to jumping around. Here’s our Elden Ring guide to help you with the Divine Tower of Caelid jumping puzzles, Radahn’s Great Rune, and the Godskin Apostle boss.

Note: For more information, check out our Elden Ring guides and features hub .

Elden Ring Divine Tower of Caelid guide – Radahn’s Great Rune and Godskin Apostle

Elden Ring Divine Tower of Caelid (outer area)

You’ll find Elden Ring ‘s Divine Tower of Caelid in the northern section of the region. The closest fast travel point is Dragonbarrow West and, once you approach the structure, you’ll see large branches that connect to it.

To be on the safe side, follow the branch as it leads to the lower area then eliminate the Redmane Soldier there. Climb up and take out the other foe, too. You can then use Torrent to double jump past the gap to the right to find a Stonesword Key guarded by a Knight.

Eldr Cae Div Rdn Grn 1a1

Next, move to your left and follow the ledges going around. Beware because some of the parts here are already broken off, and you could fall to your doom. As usual, use Torrent to jump, but dismount and control your character if you need to turn.

When you reach the side, you can climb down the ladder that’s further away to get a Numen’s Rune (it gives a lot of dough). Then, head back to where you were earlier and climb the other ladder upward.

Eldr Cae Div Rdn Grn 1b

You’ll then be able to tag the Site of Grace. There are two paths here, one leading up and one leading down.

If you already defeated Starscourge Radahn , then you can open the doors up top and ride the lift. Interact with the tree to activate his Great Rune.

Radahn’s Great Rune in Elden Ring will provide a boost to your HP, FP, and stamina for a temporary duration.

Next, you can head down, but watch out for the two Redmane Soldiers. Take them out and check the doorway. Unfortunately, it’s locked.

Now, look at the area in front of you. There’s a wide chasm here, and falling down means certain doom. However, if you look to your right, you should see ledges that you can use.

When you do make it a couple of levels below, the platform will crumble.

Don’t worry because there’s another ledge and your character should still be alive.

From here, you’ll want to check other kinds of platforms, such as circular ones, until you see another hostile guarding a lift.

You can ride the lift back up to grab a Rune Arc.

Likewise, you should spot a ladder on this level, too. Climb it all the way to the top and open the door from earlier.

This would help since, if you die, you can use the ladder after respawning at the Site of Grace.

In any case, forge ahead (there’s another crumbling platform) until you reach the second lift. Ride it all the way to the bottom and tag the Site of Grace.

Past this point, there’s one more enemy and, beyond, is a boss’ arena.

Elden Ring Godskin Apostle boss fight

The Godskin Apostle boss in Elden Ring has some quick moves, and it also lobs Deathscourge Flames at you. One of the more dangerous attacks, however, is its Chopper Blades. Just back away from it, since it will easily eat through your stamina.

Another deadly move is cast once it’s below 50% HP. It does a Deathscourge Nova that pulses several times before exploding. The pulses will cause damage, and so will the explosion (it actually killed me since I was attempting to roll away from it).

Apart from this, it will start to stretch its body when it lunges for melee attacks. This can be beneficial since it will sometimes completely miss you and be vulnerable to hits.
