Morgan Wallen Tour 2023: How to Get Tickets to His Rescheduled Dates

by Nick Stockton October 25, 2023, 2:08 pm

Morgan Wallen is hitting the American South this Fall, looping back around to make up for some dates he was forced to reschedule due to vocal strain.

Videos by American Songwriter

Wallen brings the One Night at a Time tour to Atlanta for two nights over Veteran’s Day weekend – sure to be a blowout – before cruising to Texas and finishing up in Austin and Houston.

Tickets are available via StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

The controversial Country star has remained a fan favorite, garnering loyal support from die-hard fans despite nearly derailing a promising career early on when a leaked video captured him using some inappropriate language.

You can bet the “Last Night” outlaw will be bringing his (mostly) uncensored A-game to these final shows of the One Night at a Time World Tour 2023 after getting some well-deserved vocal rest.

Don’t wait — these shows are selling fast. Get your tickets now !

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability, so the above may not apply to every entrant. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon entrant’s fulfillment of all requirements set forth herein.

13.       COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND GOVERNING LAW . Morgan Wallen One Night At A Time Tour New Dates

Chart-Topping Success and Hits

Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour aligns with the release of his third studio album, One Thing At A Time , which debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart in March. It maintained its top position for an impressive 12 consecutive weeks, marking the longest run at the top for a country album in over 30 years. The album continues to rank among the top 10 alongside Wallen’s 6x platinum ACM Album of the Year, Dangerous: The Double Album , which holds the record for Billboard’s longest-running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist.

His hit song and Highway favorite “Last Night” became his fastest No. 1 to date, reigning atop the all-genre Billboard 100 chart for a remarkable 16 weeks, making it the longest-running No. 1 solo song in Hot 100 history.

Currently, Wallen has two songs rapidly climbing the country radio charts: “Everything I Love,” which includes an interpolation of The Allman Brothers’ “Midnight Rider,” and the self-assured track “Thinkin’ Bout Me.”

“I Wrote the Book” also just topped The Highway’s Hot 30 Weekend Countdown  two weeks in a row.

Wallen has also actively contributed to community revitalization efforts in select cities on his tour, including Boston and Chicago. Recently, MWF donated $500,000 to Habitat For Humanity of Greater Nashville’s Parkwood community transformation project. Morgan Wallen Now: Singer Extends One Night at a Time World Tour

Among the new stops are Indianapolis, Nashville, Denver, and the finale at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Each show will feature three opening acts from a rotating lineup that includes Jelly Roll , Lainey Wilson, and others.

Wallen is having a wildly successful year. In addition to the tour’s popularity, the 30-year-old is nominated in three categories at the upcoming CMA Awards on November 8, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for One Thing at a Time .

Quick Facts

Early life and family, contestant on the voice, breakthrough: “whiskey glasses” and other songs, superstardom with one thing at a time, racial slur and other controversies, personal life and son, who is morgan wallen.

Morgan Wallen is a country singer known for hit songs like “You Proof,” “Last Night,” and “Whiskey Glasses.” He first rose to prominence with his appearance on the sixth season of the NBC singing competition The Voice in 2014. Wallen’s music has since garnered mass appeal, with his 2023 album One Thing at a Time rising to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts. At one point, he simultaneously held half of the top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 with songs off the album—something only five other artists, including Taylor Swift and The Beatles , have accomplished. However, the singer has also stirred controversy with his offstage behavior, including using a racial slur in a 2021 incident caught on camera.

FULL NAME: Morgan Cole Wallen BORN: May 13, 1993 BIRTHPLACE: Sneedville, Tennessee CHILD: Indigo Wilder ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Taurus

Morgan Cole Wallen was born May 13, 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee, to parents Tommy and Lesli Wallen. He has three younger sisters: Ashlyne, Mikaela, and Lacey, whom Tommy and Lesli adopted in 2021. The family later relocated to nearby Knoxville when Morgan was a high school freshman.

At age 3, Wallen started singing at the local Southern Baptist church where Tommy served as pastor and eventually sang three-part harmonies with Ashlyne and Mikaela. He received a violin for Christmas at age 5 and began taking lessons. He also played and trained on the piano growing up. His father was a fan of rock ’n’ roll music and introduced him to artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Fleetwood Mac , and the Eagles.

However, Wallen first believed his path was baseball. Playing for Gibbs High School in Knoxville—which also calls Kenny Chesney an alumnus—he became a star shortstop and pitcher. During a game his senior year, he suffered a torn UCL in his elbow that required surgery. Colleges lost interest following the injury, and Wallen took a few months off following his graduation in 2011 to figure out his future. “I prayed and tried to figure out what was my plan and my purpose. That’s how I started writing songs and playing guitar just to get my feelings out,” Wallen told LancasterOnline in 2017.

Wallen began his music career by playing for his mother and friends, who told him he had a real talent. However, it would be his appearance on a popular reality TV show that truly set him up for success.

In 2014, Wallen boarded an airplane for the first time in his life to fly to Los Angeles and audition for the sixth season of The Voice , the popular NBC singing competition show. He performed Howie Day’s 2003 pop hit “Collide” and impressed celebrity judges Shakira and Usher . “I think that there are no voices like your voice on today’s radio—that’s why I turned [my chair],” Shakira told him. “It’s as manly as it gets.” Wallen chose Usher to be his mentor.

Wallen made it through the first and second battle rounds, performing Avicii’s “Hey Brother” and “Story of My Life” by One Direction. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine even “stole” Wallen for his team of performers. However, Wallen was eliminated in the playoff portion of the competition.

Still, the experience increased his profile and allowed Wallen to pick up industry connections. He also zeroed in on country music as the genre that best suited him. “It may not have been the biggest influence in my life, as far as musically,” he told The New Yorker in 2020. “But once I started writing songs, it just sounded country. And I was like, well, I guess I’ll sing country music, because this is the life I know.”

Following The Voice , Wallen moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to advance his career. He formed a temporary band called Morgan Wallen & Them Shadows with Serg Sanchez of the group Atom Smash. Sanchez introduced Wallen to executives at Panacea Records, which signed the artist in 2015 and financed an EP called Stand Alone and the single “Spin You Around.”

In August 2016, Big Loud Records announced it had signed the then-23-year-old Wallen, who continued working with music producer Joey Moi. Wallen released his debut single with the label, “The Way I Talk,” that same year.

Next came his debut studio album, If I Know Me , in April 2018. It rose into the top 20 on the Billboard 200 and contained the songs “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line and “Whiskey Glasses.” The latter reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart and peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019, marking his biggest success to date. Wallen went on tour with Florida Georgia Line that same year. When the Country Music Association named Wallen the New Artist of the Year at the November 2020 CMA Awards, it cemented his status as one of the rising stars in the genre.

Wallen continued to surge in popularity with his second studio album, Dangerous: The Double Album , in January 2021. The release debuted at No. 1 and had the largest streaming week ever for a country album, according to Billboard . It contained songs like “7 Summers” and “Wasted on You,” which peaked at No. 6 and 9, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100.

Dangerous proved to have staying power, as the album reached its 86 th nonconsecutive week in the Billboard 200’s top 10 in September 2022—the most ever. Peter, Paul and Mary held the previous record, which dated back to the early 1960s, for their self-titled album.

But Wallen wasn’t resting on the success. In May 2022, he released the single “You Proof.” The song became Wallen’s top chart performer to date, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Thought You Should Know” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 that same month and reached a high point of No. 7 almost a full year later.

By then, Wallen had already released his 36-track album One Thing at a Time and embarked on a (since-extended) 65-show world tour. The March 2023 album was an immediate success, quickly topping the Billboard 200 and placing the song “Last Night” atop the singles chart. Four other songs—“You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” and the title track—simultaneously reached the top 10, making Wallen accountable for half of it. Only Taylor Swift, The Beatles, 21 Savage, Drake , and Juice WRLD had ever accomplished the feat.

Unsurprisingly, Wallen took home the Academy of Country Music Award for Male Artist of the Year in May 2023. Months later in September, he was nominated for three CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for One Thing at a Time .

While Wallen has generally made headlines for his music, the singer has also gained notoriety for a couple offstage incidents. He was arrested in May 2020 on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct following an incident at a bar and steakhouse owned by Kid Rock in Nashville, Tennessee.

In October 2020, Wallen was scheduled to be the musical guest on an episode of the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live . But in the days leading up to the performance, videos emerged on social media showing Wallen drinking shots, kissing fans, and failing to follow social distancing guidelines after a football game at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Because of show protocols instituted amid the COVID-19 pandemic, SNL replaced Wallen with The White Stripes frontman Jack White. Wallen owned up to his behavior, and two months later, made fun of himself and the incident during his rescheduled appearance on the show in a skit with actor Jason Bateman .

Then in February 2021, TMZ posted a video of Wallen calling his friend the N word and using other profanities outside his Nashville home following a night out with friends. Wallen quickly apologized for using the slur, but some radio stations and streaming services dropped him from their playlists. He was also disqualified from the 2021 ACM Awards and temporarily dropped by his label, Big Loud.

That July, Wallen gave his first interview following the incident to ABC’s Good Morning America and said he didn’t mean to use the term in a derogatory manner. “I was around some of my friends, and we say dumb stuff together. In our minds, it’s playful. That sounds ignorant, but that’s really where it came from. And it’s wrong,” Wallen said, adding that he and his friends had been drinking leading up to the exchange. Wallen said he had donated $500,000 from his album sales—which spiked following the backlash—to organizations such as the Black Music Action Coalition and spent a month in rehab in San Diego. “I spent some time... you know, just trying to figure it out
why am I acting this way? Do I have an alcohol problem? Do I have a deeper issue?” he explained.

More recently, Wallen disappointed fans in April 2023 when he canceled a show at the University of Mississippi minutes before he was set to take the stage because he had lost his voice. A couple weeks later, the singer revealed doctors had ordered him to go on extended vocal rest because of injured vocal cords and vocal fold trauma. He subsequently canceled six weeks of shows on his One Night at a Time World Tour. He returned to performing in late June at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

Wallen reportedly began dating Katie “KT” Smith in 2017. The pair dated off and on through 2019, even becoming engaged, but ultimately split. They share a son, Indigo Wilder.

Indigo, or “Indie,” was born in July 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. Although the singer and Smith had split by that point, Wallen has said the two do their best as co-parents. His parents also traveled from their home in Tennessee to help care for Indigo. “I just hope to give him as sound advice as my parents gave me and show him love and let him know that I’m here for him and that I’m his friend,” Wallen told People in January 2021.

In June 2023, Indigo was taken to the hospital after being bitten in the face by Smith’s dog, Legend. He received stitches but was okay, according to Smith, who looked to re-home the animal.

Wallen also quietly dated model and influencer Paige Lorenze starting in 2021. According to reports, the couple broke up in February 2022, only a couple weeks after going public with their relationship.

As of June 2023, Wallen was rumored to be dating fellow country singer Megan Moroney. However, Moroney didn’t confirm or deny a relationship in an interview with People , saying the dating gossip made her “really uncomfortable.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth , Wallen’s total net worth is estimated to be around $12 million as of July 2023.

  • I always kinda thought that I was going to have to scrap around and live paycheck to paycheck. I didn’t know exactly what I was gonna do. I had no clue
Obviously, that’s not the case anymore.
  • I don’t necessarily speak my feelings a lot. Yeah, definitely writing and singing is damn near the only way I can get my feelings out.
  • I got my little boy, I got my family. I don’t know, man—everything is really good for me right now, so gratitude is at the top of my vocabulary.
  • Awards are awesome, but my true measure of success is my fans.
  • I just try to tell how it is—the good, the bad, the love, the heartbreak. That’s all I know how to do.

Post Malone teases country collaboration with Morgan Wallen: 'Let's go with the real mix'

win a trip to meet morgan wallen

Post Malone is getting his yeehaw groove on with the help of a friend.

The Grammy-nominated singer and rapper previewed an upcoming collaboration with country singer Morgan Wallen in a video posted to Instagram Wednesday.

In the clip, Malone is seated with a cellphone in his hand as a snippet of the song plays. The “I Like You (A Happier Song)” emcee then takes a sip of a beverage as the song’s emotional opening lines are sung. “It takes two to break a heart in two,” Wallen sings, before Malone adds, “Baby you blame me, and baby I’ll blame you."

“let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen 😂” Malone captioned the post.

Malone continues to jam out to the country-rock tune in the video, as the singers’ gritty tones intertwine on the song’s up-tempo chorus: “I had some help, it ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself / Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf,” Malone and Wallen sing. “If you couldn’t tell, they say teamwork makes the dream work / Hell I had some help.”

A release date and title for the song have not been announced.

Post Malone: Get to know five of his best songs

Wallen shared Malone’s enthusiasm for the unreleased song in the Instagram comments.

“I had some help getting to the point of posting it at 4 am,” Wallen wrote. “This song is one of my (favorites) in a long time. Proud to be on it (with you) bub!!”

This isn’t the first time Malone and Wallen have shown love to each other. In November, the two appeared together on the red carpet at the 57th annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

Malone, wearing a cowboy hat, made an animated face for the camera, while Wallen threw up a playful peace sign. Malone later joined Wallen and HARDY on the CMA Awards tribute to country legend Joe Diffie, performing Diffie's hit "Pickup Man."

Malone’s latest album, “Austin,” was released in July 2023 and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album earned the singer a pair of top 5 hits on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, “Overdrive” and “Enough is Enough.”

Wallen’s 2023 album “One Thing at a Time” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Last Night.”

HIXTAPE VOL. 3: DIFFTAPE COMING MARCH 29...

When 11-time 2023 Billboard Music Awards-winner and Top Male Artist Morgan Wallen released his third studio album One Thing At A Time in 2023, its instant success left The New York Times proclaiming Wallen as “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” One Thing At A Time has remained atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for 18 non-consecutive weeks, tying Garth Brooks’ Ropin’ the Wind with the most weeks at No. 1 for a country album; and was the most-streamed album of the year on Spotify. The album’s 6x-Platinum single “Last Night” reeled in over 1.5 billion streams globally, becoming the most-streamed song of any genre in the U.S. across Apple Music and Spotify, and the longest running No. 1 solo song in Hot 100 history (16 weeks total).

With 11 chart-toppers at country radio, Wallen recently wrapped his five countries / three continents 57-show One Night At A Time World Tour stadium tour. Playing to over 1 million fans in 2022 and 2023, Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour was the only country tour named to Deadline ’s “Top 10 Music Tours of 2023,” surpassing attendance records in numerous stops; including Ohio Stadium, where Wallen became the largest weekend ever for the venue, shattering records previously held by George Strait and Taylor Swift. Resuming this April in Indianapolis, Ind., the 2024 extension of One Night At A Time takes Wallen to 29 additional stadium-plays. Wallen donates $3 from every U.S. ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation .

Tiktok’s chinese owner bytedance paying influencers to push its other app lemon8 as ban looms.

TikTok’s parent company ByteDance is paying influencers to push its other social media platform Lemon8 — as the Senate considers banning the video-sharing giant .

The Chinese giant faces either being forced to divest itself of TikTok or have the app banned entirely if a bill passed by the House this month is also passed by the Senate .

Now it is paying TikTok influencers to push Lemon8, an Instagram-clone which features “inspirational” posts about food, beauty, wellness, and travel, The Post has learned.

A screenshot of the Lemon8 app on a phone.

Sources familiar with the legislation passed by the House said the move could be an attempt by ByteDance to get round a future ban on TikTok by having a heavily-trafficked alternative owned by the Chinese company up and running.

One influencer who spoke on the condition of anonymity told The Post that shortly after the House passed the bill aiming to ban the popular video platform, she was offered $200 to upload a video that promotes Lemon8 on TikTok.

Screenshots from Lemon8.

Ultimately, she said it wasn’t enough money for her to promote something she doesn’t actually use.

ByteDance did not respond to requests for comment.

Influencer Braonain1, who has 362,700 followers on TikTok, acknowledged to The Post she is working with ByteDance to build a following on Lemon8 where she has just 66 followers.

Last week she posted a video saying the Instagram-like platform was a godsend when she moved to London two years ago at 20, writing, “I had no idea what there was to do here.”

“I went on Lemon8 to find things to do in London and created a bucket list… found a community of other individuals doing the same thing as me and I learned so many tips and tricks along the way,” she posted of her experience. “Follow me on Lemon8.”

that an app called lemon 8 where I can share these diaries

In the last week alone, nearly a dozen other TikTok influencers have posted videos promoting Lemon8 that include a link to download the app. It’s unclear if ByteDance paid them for their posts.

One creator, who uses the handle “its Alysssa Stevenss,” and has 174,700 followers on TikTok posted, “I found an app for the girlies
if you’re a girlie keep watching.”

“Lemon8 is the destination for sharing and exploring
there is something for everyone on Lemon8,” she added.

Rayleen Vega who has 207,300 followers on TikTok and just one follower on Lemon8 posted, “My obsession has been this new app Lemon8
 I freaking love it.”

Likewise Kolby Shae with 755,600 TikTok followers and 8 Lemon8 followers mentions, “I always use my Lemon8 app to help me style [my hair].”

Signa Mae applied black eye shadow in a TikTok video.

None of the creators responded to requests for comment.

The bill — Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications — is crafted to force a divestiture of TikTok and names the app as an example of a threat to American security.

It directly names ByteDance as a foreign-adversary controlled company and says any “successor application” to TikTok as well as “any other application or service developed or provided by ByteDance” would need to be divested.

However, some policy experts told The Post there are loopholes in the bill that ByteDance could use to try to avoid a ban.

“The law is still open to interpretation at this point,” one source who helped craft the law in the House told The Post. “The bill was drafted to go after TikTok
beyond that there could be exceptions.”

Among the loopholes are a requirement that apps have more than 1 million average users before they can be acted against. Lemon8 appears to be well under that figure.

Tom Grant, vice president of research for traffic analyst Apptopia said the app has been growing in recent, including 19% in March so far, with usage accelerating in the US but decelerating elsewhere — an indication that ByteDance’s campaign could be working.

Last June ByteDance appointed TikTok’s CEO Shou Zi Chew as head of Lemon8 in an effort to find more synergy between the two apps.

But on the Apple and Google app stores, Lemon8 says its developer is Heliophilia, a private company in Singapore that shares headquarters with the ByteDance Singapore office, which could also help Lemon8 frame itself as not being owned by a “foreign adversary.”

“Anything TikTok can do from within those boundaries is a victory. If they can grow Lemon8 using this crisis, it’s a win,” one attorney with knowledge of the situation told The Post.

“It’s like they’re creating the framing for their argument that this is only about TikTok, because the same company is telling their users that the other app is perfectly fine to continue to use.”

Jacob Helberg, senior policy advisor to software company Palantir, told The Post that while there are “different prongs and criteria” to what gets banned, the bill in its current form “would apply to an app like Lemon8.”

But until the bill is signed into law, he said, “ByteDance is still trying to kill the bill.”
