Demon Slayer To the Swordsmith Village geht ab 3.2.2023 auf World Tour

Die Saga von rund um Tanjiro kehrt mit dem Film Demon Slayer To the Swordsmith Village und dessen Premiere auf einer World Tour in einer Vielzahl von Ländern und Regionen ins Kino zurück.

Crunchyroll kündigte nun voller Stolz und Freude an, dass der Film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- demnächst im Kino zu sehen sein wird. Noch vor Bekanntgabe des Starttermins des Films wird am 26. Februar 2023 eine Premiere in Berlin veranstaltet, bei der Filmproduzent Yuma Takahashi anwesend sein wird. Der neue Film wird aus den Episoden 10 und 11 des Entertainment District Arc, der für seine rasanten Actionszenen und herzzerreißende Story hochgelobt wurde, sowie der ersten Episode des nächsten Arcs, Swordsmith Village Arc, bestehen. Um ein überwältigendes Kinoerlebnis zu schaffen, haben alle Inhalte ein neues Gewand in 4K und neu abgemischte Musik erhalten!

Nach der Vorführung in Japan am 3. Februar 2023 wird der Film in mehr als 80 Ländern und Regionen weltweit auf eine außergewöhnliche World Tour gehen.

Ich hoffe es werden noch mehr Städte bekannt gegeben. Es heißt über 80 Städte und Regionen und bislang gibt es eine Liste mit 7 Städten auf der offiziellen Seite. Oder ist das nur irgendwie seltsam ausgedrückt?

Die World Tour hat nur 7 Stops, wovon Paris und Berlin die einzigen in Europa sind. Ist auch verständlich, da ja überall Special Guests dabei sind. Da das ja kein vollwertiger Film ist gehe ich davon aus das er ansonsten nicht weiter gezeigt wird, die Hälfte des Inhalts sind ja Episoden die bereits raus sind und der Rest wird mit dem Start der dritten Staffel zu sehen sein

The Demon Slayer anime is getting ready to return to theaters! Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll have teamed up to announce a theatrical release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- as part of a world tour. The theatrical event will include a feature-length cut of episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc as well as the extended first episode of the upcoming Swordsmith Village Arc in 4K with remastered audio.  

It all starts with an event in Tokyo, followed by a red carpet premiere event in Los Angeles on February 18 at the Orpheum Theatre, with Natsuki Hanae (voice of Tanjiro) making an appearance along with Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi and a performance by Aimer. Look for tickets to go on sale for that one on January 7.

After that, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- will head to U.S. and Canada theatrically on March 3 and will be available both dubbed and in Japanese with English subtitles.  

Other upcoming event locations include Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul and Taipei.  

As for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc , the new season is officially set to begin its broadcast on Fuji TV in Japan in April 2023, starting with a one-hour special first episode.

Aniplex, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment brings fans of the massively popular Anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the next big screen installment, featuring a ‘Sneak Peek’ at the highly anticipated ‘ Hashira Training Arc ’ to theaters internationally beginning on February 21. Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced international theatrical dates for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training -, bringing Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps back to the big screen in a not-to-be-missed theatrical event starting on February 21. 

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training – will allow fans to revisit the gripping finale of the Swordsmith Village Arc while getting a sneak peek at the highly anticipated Hashira Training Arc in one extra-sized blockbuster experience. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- marks the first time fans can watch the finale from the Swordsmith Village Arc in theaters and the first-time-ever they can see the beginning of the Hashira Training Arc .

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training – will be distributed in North American theaters, including in IMAX and premium large formats (PLFs), starting on February 23 by Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Slated for April 2023 – Visual, Promotional Video & World Tour Announced

The official website of the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer ( Kimetsu no Yaiba ) has announced that the upcoming third season will premiere in April 2023. In addition, the site has revealed a brand new visual, promotional video, and details of a World Tour coming in February.

Season 3 of the anime will be titled Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc ( Katanakaji Sato-hen ) and will adapt the manga’s next canonical arc. The arc runs from volumes 100 – 127. The new season will kick-off with an hour-long episode.

The anime’s website has also revealed the Demon Slayer World Tour which will begin on February 3rd, 2023. The World Tour will visit over 7 locations around the world and will feature stage greetings as well as previews for the new season. The announced locations are Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul, and Taipei.

There will also be a movie version of the final two episodes in the anime’s second season, which will also release in February. The movie will be released in over 80 countries worldwide.

The main cast of the previous seasons will return for season 3:

• Natsuki Hanae (Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul ) voicing Tanjirou Kamado

• Akari Kitou (Calen from Time Bokan 24 ) as Nezuko Kamado

• Hiro Shimono (Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows ) voicing as the role of Zenitsu Agatsuma

• Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito in Sword Art Online ) as Inosuke Hashibira

• Kengo Kawanishi  (Rei Kiriyama in  Sangatsu no Lion )  will voice Muichiro Tokito

• Kana Hanazawa  (Kanade Tachibana from  Angel Beats! ) as Mitsuri Kanroji

The leading members of the second season’s staff will also return:

• Director: Haruo Sotozaki ( Tales of Symphonia the Animation , Tales of Zestiria the X )

Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) is a supernatural, action manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The series ran from February 2016 until May 2020, published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. A total of 23 volumes have been compiled and published. The manga has enjoyed much success in Japan where over 40 million copies have been sold as of February 2020. The series received a TV anime adaptation in April 2019 for a total of 26 episodes. It was directed by Haruo Sotozaki ( Tales of Symphonia the Animation , Tales of Zestiria the X ) and produced by ufotable ( Fate/Zero , Kara no Kyoukai ). The anime was followed up with a sequel film in late 2020, which had a record-breaking run becoming the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan. A second season of the anime ran during the Winter 2021/2022 anime season.

Here is the series synopsis from MAL:

Ever since the death of his father, the burden of supporting the family has fallen upon Tanjirou Kamado’s shoulders. Though living impoverished on a remote mountain, the Kamado family are able to enjoy a relatively peaceful and happy life. One day, Tanjirou decides to go down to the local village to make a little money selling charcoal. On his way back, night falls, forcing Tanjirou to take shelter in the house of a strange man, who warns him of the existence of flesh-eating demons that lurk in the woods at night. When he finally arrives back home the next day, he is met with a horrifying sight—his whole family has been slaughtered. Worse still, the sole survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a bloodthirsty demon. Consumed by rage and hatred, Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and stay by his only remaining sibling. Alongside the mysterious group calling themselves the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjirou will do whatever it takes to slay the demons and protect the remnants of his beloved sister’s humanity.

The 3rd season of the Demon Slayer anime will premiere in April 2023, during the Spring 2023 anime season.

Global Theatrical Release Dates Confirmed for ‘Demon Slayer: -To the Hashira Training-‘

Crunchyroll and Aniplex have announced dates for the global theatrical release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- .

The anime will kick off with an hour-long first episode, which will be available to stream and view in select theaters worldwide. From February 21 - 22, the special episode will be available to watch in theaters across several European, South American and Australian regions. Its North American theatrical release is scheduled for February 23, which will be in tandem with regions such as the U.K., Canada and Scandinavia. The special anime episode will also be available to screen in IMAX and premium large formats at select regions and theaters.

Additionally, a world tour of advance screenings has also been announced for cities such as Tokyo, New York, Berlin, Mexico City, São Paulo, London, and Paris. Voice actor natsuki hanae has a special message for indian fans before the meet..

Natsuki Hanae, the Japanese voice actor behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, is heading to Mumbai, India along with Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi. As part of the Demon Slayer World Tour stop for the To the Hashira Training film , Crunchyroll will host a panel at Comic Con Mumbai on April 20 featuring Hanae and Takahashi.

Hanae shared a special message for fans ahead of the event, saying, “Hello Mumbai! My name is Natsuki Hanae, and I play the role of Tanjiro Kamado. Thank you for your continued support of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. In fact, thanks to all the Demon Slayer fans in India, I am pleased to announce that I will be participating on stage at the Mumbai Comic Con on April 20! This is the first time for us to participate in this event. We are really looking forward to meeting Indian anime fans and Demon Slayer’s fans!”

Natsuki Hanae is now renowned for his portrayal of Tanjiro in Demon Slayer, but he has also lent his voice to iconic characters like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Kousei Arima in Your Lie in April, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!!, and Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach. He has been active in the industry since 2011.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Hashira Training- film hit Indian theatres on February 22 in IMAX and premium large formats (PLFs). The film comprises the final episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc, along with content from the Hashira Training Arc that will be part of the show’s Season 4. A special fan screening also took place in Mumbai on February 21. The film saw success in the country, grossing ₹5.19 crores at the Indian box office in its first week , making it the second-biggest opening for any anime film in India after Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

The accompanying World Tour began in Japan on February 2 with a stage event and continued on February 3 at TOHO Cinema Hibiya in Tokyo. The tour has since visited various cities worldwide, including New York, Seoul, Mexico City, Singapore, Jakarta, Paris, and more.

Comic Con Mumbai will take place on April 20 and 21 at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC.

Eso incluyó la función, un lugar más cercano en el fan event y un kit especial. Lo que es una realidad es que deben estar muy atentos de las actualizaciones, pues seguramente se agotaran enseguida.

Demon Slayer's Tanjiro set to appear at Crunchyroll Mumbai Comic Con

O n April 14, 2024, Crunchyroll informed Sportskeeda via email about the arrival of two Demon Slayer executives at Crunchyroll Mumbai Comic Con. These executives will be Hanae Natsuki, the voice actor of Kamado Tanjiro, and Yuma Takahashi, the producer of the anime series. The Comic Con will take place on April 20 and 21.

Moreover, Crunchyroll also announced the arrival of a special guest DJ who would entertain the audience with his music. Special game events were also announced which will center around anime series other than Demon Slayer alongside a trivia panel for the fans to test their anime knowledge.

Crunchyroll Mumbai Comic Con to feature the voice actor of Kamado Tanjiro from Demon Slayer

According to Crunchyroll press note, Mumbai Con 2024 will feature Hanae Natsuki and Yuma Takahashi on its first day. Hanae Natsuki is a professional voice actor who voiced Kamado Tanjiro in Demon Slayer . His other famous roles include Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul , Arima Kousei from Your Lie in April, and Falco Grice from Attack on Titan .

Yuma Takahashi is the producer of Demon Slayer and is associated with Aniplex. His other famous roles include his role as a producer for anime series like I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, Cells at Work , and Vivy: Flourite Eye's Song .

As a part of the activities and engaging sessions, Crunchyroll also shared that DJ Kazu would be a part of Mumbai Con 2024. DJ Kazu is a famous J-POP/Anisong artist who could be considered the #1 DJ in this field. He will have his performance on the second day of the Comic-Con and will entertain the audience with his music.

On the first day, April 20, fans can meet DJ Kazu at the Crunchyroll booth at 12:30 PM and 3 PM IST. On the second day, the DJ will perform in two sessions, one at the Crunchyroll booth from 12:30 IST and the other at the main stage from 5 PM IST. Each session will last 35-45 minutes and will be comprised of the hottest EDM (electronic dance music), J-Pop, and popular Anime beats.

The Mumbai Anime fans can also test their anime knowledge at the Anime Trivia which will be taking place at the Crunchyroll booth. The prizes that the winners could win will include Jujutsu Kaisen character cards, postcards from Demons Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen , a One Piece sticker sheet (singular prize), and a Shangri-La Frontier paper fan (singular prize).

Lastly, a special Jujutsu Kaisen game would be a part of Mumbai Comic Con 2024 which fans could take part in and test their gaming skills. More details about this gaming event could be released in the future.

Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training special fan screening

As part of the Demon Slayer World Tour, Crunchyroll will also organize a special screening of the recent movie of the series, To The Hashira Training, following the panel discussion with the anime series' executives on the first day of Mumbai Comic Con.

The screening will include an exclusive fan greeting with Hanae Natsuski and Yuma Takahashi. The special screening of the movie, however, will not be a part of the Mumbai Comic Con and will not take place at the same venue as the Comic Con.
